Description
The invention relates to a device for removing high-purity liquids, in particular high-purity liquid chemicals from containers while largely avoiding particle contamination.
When removing high-purity liquids, such as organic solvents, acids and alkalis, which are necessary for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, polymer optical fibers, optical memories or highly integrated semiconductor components, from transport containers, the quality of the high-purity liquid must not be questioned. This means that in addition to chemical, particle contamination must also be largely excluded. In the removal device, therefore, parts sliding on one another, dead volumes and the supply of contaminated ventilation media must be avoided.
- a) from a connection plate with three holes, two of which each penetrate a connecting piece for risers and
- b) a head plate with an integrated valve body for receiving at least two valve heads, the head plate having three holes congruent to the connection plate, one of which extends through the valve body and the other two holes on the one hand end in pipe sockets which protrude into the holes in the connection plate and on the other hand in channels for the high-purity liquids, which are arranged in the valve body and interrupted by the valve heads.
One of the holes can be arranged centrally and the other two holes can be arranged in mirror image to the central hole.
The valve body can be provided with two further channels which are connected to the channel system for the high-purity liquids via two additional valve heads. The connection plate can be designed as a matrix for the head plate and both plates can have devices for connecting to one another. Guide devices such as pins or small tubes can be arranged in the bores of the head plate provided with pipe sockets.
The advantages of the invention can be seen essentially in the fact that when the head plate is removed, the small liquid volumes remaining in the bores provided with pipe sockets inevitably and completely run back into the container. The removal system can be flushed without separating the top plate from the connection plate. The device has a low dead volume; the formation of particle nests in the chemical-carrying lines and bores is prevented. The construction of the valve body, which is integrated in the head plate, in conjunction with the use of diaphragm valve heads, enables switching processes that produce only a few particles.

The removal device consists of a connection plate 4, which can be attached to the filling and removal opening 1 of a container with a
In order to ensure that only containers of the same content can be connected to the removal device and in the event that the connection plate 4 is to remain at the filling and removal opening 1 of the container, the connection plate 4 can be provided with a coding (holes) which correlated with corresponding means on the head plate 9 (not shown).
