1. A shower partition according to claim 1 characterised in that the arresting means is a lever (9) which is mounted on the shaft (7) pivotably about a pivot pin (10) in the free end region of said shaft (7) and has a clamping limb (12) which in the arresting position is pressed directly or indirectly against the movable door portion (2).
3. A shower partition according to claim 2 characterised in that the lever (9) is provided with a hook (11) which extends substantially at a right angle relative to the clamping limb (12) and which is preferably directed vertically upwardly.

A shower partition according to claim 1 characterised in that the arresting means is a slit collar (16), which embraces the shaft (7), of a mounting bush (13a) connected to the movable door portion (2), and a cap nut (18), wherein after the cap nut (18) has been screwed on to the collar (16) the latter is clamped fast on the shaft (7).
5. A shower partition according to claim 4 characterised in that in the region of its free end the collar (16) is provided with conically tapered clamping projections (19) over which engages a correspondingly conical region of the cap nut (18) and which can be pressed on to the shaft (7).

A shower partition according to claim 5 characterised in that the clamping projections (19) are provided in the region which is towards the shaft (7) with arresting teeth (22) which, when the movable door portion (2) extends parallel to the wall or door element (3), engage into a notch groove (21) in the shaft (7).
7. A shower partition according to one or more of claims 4 to 6 characterised in that the free end of the shaft (7) is provided with a preferably vertically upwardly directed, angled hook (23).
8. A shower partition according to claim 1 characterised in that the arresting means is a sleeve (24) which telescopically displaceably engages over the shaft (7) and which on the inside is provided with retaining projections (26) which engage into a retaining groove (25) on the shaft (7) when the movable door portion (2) extends parallel to the wall or door element (3).
9. A shower partition according to one or more of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that provided in the lower region of overlap between the wall or door element (3) and the movable door portion (2) is a shaped portion (28) which is provided with a guide track (30), the movable door portion (2) bearing against the guide track (30) of the shaped portion (28) when the movable door portion is in a parallel position relative to the wall or door element (2), and being secured by a further guide element on the side opposite the guide track (30).

A shower partition according to claim 9 characterised in that the shaped portion (28) has a horizontal limb (29) which engages under the movable door portion (2) and which has a retaining latch (31), by means of which a pivot lever (32) which is pivotable about a vertical axis and which is connected to the shaped portion (28) can be arrested, bearing against the side of the movable door portion (2) which is remote from the guide track (30).
11. A shower partition according to one or more of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that the shaped portion (28) is provided with a limb (29) which engages under the movable door portion (2) and which has a clamping groove (35) and that a holding portion (36) can be inserted into the clamping groove (35), which holding portion bears against the movable door portion (2) on the side thereof which is remote from the guide track (30).
12. A shower partition according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that in the region of at least one of the shafts (7, 8) the movable door portion (2) is held by a mounting bush (13) which on the one hand is mounted on the shaft (7) and on the other hand is provided with a collar (14) which engages into a corresponding bore (15) in the movable door portion (2) and is arranged eccentrically with respect to the shaft (7).
