Gleichzeitig wird durch das Leuchtorgan die zugeordnete Stellfläche optisch gekennzeichnet und die exakte Plazierung des Kochgefäßes auf dieser Stellfläche erleichtert, insb. dann, wenn das Leuchtorgan an der Peripherie der Stellfläche angeordnet ist, z.B. in Form einer leuchtenden Linie oder einer Folge von auf einer Umfangslinie angeordneten Leuchtpunkten. Dabei kann vorgesehen sein, daß das Leuchtorgan als langgestreckter Lichtleiter ausgebildet ist, der an eine einzige Lichtquelle optisch angeschlossen ist. Anstelle eines Lichtleiters können aber auch sonstige Leuchtorgane wie Glüh- oder Glimmlampen vorgesehen sein, die an eine einzige elektrische Spannungsquelle angeschlossen sind. In vorteilhafter Weise wird hierbei das bei einem derartigen Kochfeld, z.B. Figur 1 zeigt einen zum Teil transparenten Träger 1 aus Glaskeramikmaterial, auf den Kochgefäße zum Zwecke der Erhitzung aufstellbar sind. Unterhalb der durch eine Bedruckung des Trägers 1 gekennzeichneten Stellfläche des Kochfeldes ist eine Infrarot-Strahlungsheizung 2 angeordnet, die in an sich bekannter Weise aus einem topfförmigen, metallischen Mantel, einer darin angeordneten thermischen Isolierung 4 und von dieser Isolierung getragenen Heizwicklungen 5 besteht, die an ein elektrisches Stromnetz anschließbar sind, wie in Fig. 2 angedeutet. Wie durch entgegengesetzte Pfeile in Fig. 1 verdeutlicht, sind in den Fig. 1 und 2 links und rechts der Mittelebene zwei unterschiedliche Varianten dieser Ausführungsform in bezug auf die nachstehend erläuterte Leuchteinrichtung (Restwärmeanzeige) gezeigt. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel in Richtung X ist in der senkrechten, ringförmig umlaufenden Wand 6 des topfförmigen Isolierstoffträgers 4 eine ebenfalls umlaufende, zum Träger 1 hin offene Ausnehmung 7 eingearbeitet, in welcher eine ringförmige, das Leuchtorgan darstellende Glimmlampe 8 angeordnet ist. Hierbei bildet die Wandung der vorgenannten Ausnehmung einen Reflektor für das von der Glimmlampe 8 ausgehende Licht, das konzentriert in Richtung des Trägers 1 geworfen wird. Fig. 2 zeigt, daß die Enden dieser Glimmlampen im Bereich von elektrischen Anschlußstellen 8a und 8b radial nach außen abgebogen sind und dort an ein elektrisches Anschlußelement angeschlossen sind, z.B. an einen an sich bekannten elektrischen Sicherheitstemperaturbegrenzer 9, der ohnehin bei derartigen Glaskeramik-Kochfeldern vorhanden ist und dessen Schaltteil mit einem, z.B. einen Ausdehnungsstab aufweisenden ummantelten Fühler 10 verbunden ist, welcher Fühler 10 sich radial über die Strahlungsheizung 2 unterhalb des Trägers 1 erstreckt. Hierzu ist der Sicherheitstemperaturbegrenzer 9 mit zusätzlichen Kontakten ausgestattet. Zusätzlich oder alternativ zu der eben beschriebenen Ausführung kann die Glimmlampe 8 auch außerhalb des topfförmigen Mantels 3 angeordnet sein, wobei ihm als Träger und Reflektor ein außenseitiger, L-förmig abgebogener Teil 11 des Mantels 3 dient. Bei der in Richtung Y gezeigten Variante ist statt einer Glimmlampe 8 als Leuchtorgan eine Glühlampe 12 vorgesehen mit einer von einer Glasröhre umgebenen Glühwendel oder Glühdraht, welche Glühlampe 12 ebenfalls ringförmig ausgebildet ist und ebenfalls in der Ausnehmung 7 des Isolierstoffträgers 4 liegt. Auch hier kann alternativ oder zusätzlich vorgesehen sein eine Glühlampe 12' größeren Durchmessers, die wiederum in einem abgebogenen Teil 11 des Mantels 3 liegt. Bei diesen Ausführungsbeispielen dient das ringförmige Leuchtorgan nicht nur als sogenannte Restwäremanzeige, also zur optischen Anzeige der eine vorbestimmte, für eine Berührung zulässige Temperatur übersteigende Erwärmung des Trägers 1, wobei in an sich bekannter Weise die Steuerung dieses Leuchtorgans mittels eines temperaturabhängigen Schalters erfolgt, z.B. mittels einer weiteren Bahn des Sicherheitstemperaturbegrenzers 9, sondern stellt auch eine optische Markierung der ringförmigen Stellfläche des Kochfeldes dar.FIG. 1 shows a partially transparent support 1 made of glass ceramic material, on which cooking vessels can be placed for the purpose of heating.
