Wegen des von der Feder 19 überbrückten Freiraumes kann aber das Steuerteil 13 noch bewegt bzw. an der Verschlußhebelwelle 1 weitergedreht werden, auch wenn sich der Steuerkeil 15 nicht mehr bewegen kann. Durch eine solche Wegaufnahme kann ein Verschleiß am Verschlußkeil aufgenommen werden, da im Ausgangszustand Steuerteil und Verschlußkeil so aufeinander abgestimmt sind, daß bis zu einem Drittel des Weges von der Feder zwischen Steuerteil und Verschlußkeil aufgenommen wird. Auch wenn die beiden Steuerkeile 15, 15' nicht gleichmäßig abgenutzt werden sollten, werden sie mit diesen Mechanismus jeweils voll unter den Laufhaken 16 geschoben.The mechanism for transferring the distance from the control part 13 to the locking wedges 15, 15 'is favorable. Beim Öffnen des Verschlusses wird die Feder 24 gespannt. Der Verschlußhebel wird durch eine (nicht dargestellte) Verschlußklinke in seiner Offenstellung gehalten. Beim Schließen wird die Verschlußklinke durch die Unterseite des Laufendes ausgelöst und gibt den durch die Feder vorgespannten Verschluß frei. Die beiden Verschlußkeile 15, 15,' angetrieben durch die Federn 19, gehen mit ihrer Keilfläche in Nuten am Laufhaken 16 am Laufende. Claims (8)

  1. Drop barrel weapon having at least one sliding wedge-type breech-block (15, 15') guided for movement in the longitudinal direction (17), with the breech wedge (15, 15') being driven by a control part (13) and at least one energy-transmitting compression spring (19) being present between the breech wedge (15, 15') and the control part (13), in which weapon the compression spring (19) permits travel uptake but, should the breech wedge (15, 15') no longer be capable of movement, the control part (13) is moved further in order to reach a desired position of a lever, characterised in that movement of the control part (13) takes place by way of a locking lever shaft (1) arranged perpendicularly relative to said longitudinal direction, the transmission of movement from the locking lever shaft (1) to the control part (13) by way of a connecting piece (9) takes place by means of a peg (11) on one side of the connecting piece (9), the connecting piece (9) can be inserted in a groove (10) on the underside of the locking lever shaft (1), and in the control part there are two bore holes (12, 12') which are matched to the peg (11) in the connecting piece (9) and are fitted in the control part (13) in such a way that, according to the assembly of the connecting piece (9) in the underside of the locking lever shaft (1), a movement of the locking lever shaft (1) in the clockwise direction or, if desired, in the anti-clockwise direction (that is, for right-hand or left-hand protection) leads in each case to the desired opening movement of the sliding wedge-type breech-block (15, 15').
  2. Drop barrel weapon according to claim 1, characterised in that a locking spring (24) acts on the locking lever shaft (1) by way of a spring thrust bearing (27), as a restoring force for moving the locking lever shaft (1), which is deflected to one side, into the centre position.
  3. Drop barrel weapon according to claim 2, characterised in that the locking spring (24) is guided in a bore hole running transversely relative to the locking lever shaft (1).
  4. Drop barrel weapon according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the spring thrust bearing (27) is supported by a stop pin (28).
  5. Drop barrel weapon according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the spring thrust bearing (27) can be rotated by 180° and the locking spring (24) and stop pin (28) are interchangeable.
  6. Drop barrel weapon according to one of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the spring resistance force of the locking spring (24) can be adjusted.
  7. Drop barrel weapon according to one of claims 2 to 6, characterised in that the restoring force of the locking spring (24) is distinctly greater than the restraining effect owing to a limited breech wedge movement (spring resistance of the two springs(19)).
  8. Drop barrel weapon according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the locking lever shaft (1) is guided in the breech housing (6) by a pin (7).
