Description

Magazin für eine Feuerwaffe Magazine for a firearm
The invention relates to a magazine for a firearm, with a housing made essentially of plastic for receiving cartridges which can be acted upon by a device generating a force in the direction of a discharge opening of the magazine, with support being provided in the region of the discharge opening at least one magazine lip is provided in the cartridge, a part forming a support and / or guide of the cartridge being pushed out of the magazine is reinforced with an insert.
Such a magazine is generally known without further details about the insert from DE-OS 35 35 014. The insert is intended to serve the magazine, especially the To protect magazine lips from premature wear, which would occur in the absence of the insert in that the front edge of the sleeve scrapes the parts of the magazine supporting this cartridge when the cartridge is fed, ie when it is pushed out of the magazine. In practice, such inserts have so far been realized only by stamped parts, so that the production is expensive. In a magazine known from US Pat. No. 4,127,954, the end of the magazine on the output side is made entirely of metal.
The invention has for its object to provide a magazine of the type described, in which the manufacturing cost is reduced. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the insert is formed from a profile bar including a round bar.
An advantage of the invention is that the insert can be formed from a profile bar of suitable material by simple cutting and bending using simple devices. In the case of the mold for producing the housing of the magazine, which is made of plastic, slight modifications are required in comparison to the known one, in order to enable the insert to be fastened, in particular the releasable fastening of the insert, which is provided according to one embodiment of the invention . The profile bar can advantageously be a round bar made of metal, that is to say a wire made of a suitable material, preferably steel.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the insert has two sections running essentially parallel to one another and a yoke running essentially transversely to the sections mentioned. One advantage is that the insert can be produced in a particularly simple manner. The yoke, which can run slightly curved, can serve as the actual guide for the cartridge when the cartridge is pushed out and / or as a support for the cartridge.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the yoke is at least partially outside a plane running through the two sections. The advantage here is that this insert is particularly well suited for detachable or non-detachable fastening in the housing.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the insert runs essentially parallel to the sleeve of a cartridge stored in the magazine and in the area of the sleeve, supports the sleeve against the constraining force, and a first section arranged in the area of the projectile to the first section has a second section inclined at an angle. Here, the cartridge can be fully supported and when the cartridge is pushed out, its front and rear ends are supported by the insert.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the second section is at a greater distance from the upper end of the magazine than the first section. Here the first section mainly supports the constraining force, in particular the force of a feed spring, and the second section mainly deflects the cartridge when it is pushed out of the magazine.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that an end section of the insert, which is aligned with a section of the insert forming a guide, into a bore of the Magazine is inserted for attachment. This enables an easy assembly of the insert.
In one embodiment of the invention, in which the insert is releasably attached to the housing, it is provided that the insert is made of elastically deformable material and is snapped behind a part of the housing. As a result, the insert can be easily removed from the housing if necessary and replaced with a new insert. In this embodiment, the insert can also be non-detachably fastened in the housing, for example by adding an adhesive before insertion, and the snap-in action merely provides additional security against the insert being lost.
Es zeigenIn one embodiment of the magazine, which is designed as a two-row magazine, with guide surfaces which, when a cartridge is pushed out, deflect it in the direction of the longitudinal center plane of the magazine which runs parallel to the longitudinal direction of the cartridge and to the longitudinal direction of the two cartridge columns which can be stored in the magazine , it is provided that the guide surfaces are reinforced by an insert. In this case, it may be necessary to provide first deposits for the support of the cartridges against the above-mentioned constraining force, which can be generated in a conventional manner by a feeder which is acted upon by a feeder spring, and that further deposits are provided in the guide surfaces mentioned that deflect the cartridges as they slide out towards the center of the magazine so that the cartridges can be inserted correctly into the weapon. The first and the second insert can be formed together by a single part. Further features and advantages of the invention result from the following description of exemplary embodiments of the invention with reference to the drawing, which shows details essential to the invention, and from the claims. The individual features can each be implemented individually or in groups in any combination in one embodiment of the invention. Show it

In the example, the uppermost cartridge is the cartridge 6 shown on the right in FIG. 1, which is still supported on the lip 2 in the region of its rear end. The next cartridge 8 is not yet in contact with the lip 4, because the cartridges each protrude somewhat beyond the longitudinal center plane 10 of the housing 1 and the cartridge 8 is therefore supported upwards by the cartridge 6, namely at right angles to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1.
In embodiments of the invention, inserts (not shown) can be arranged in the magazine lips 2. The figures only show those inserts which deflect the cartridges towards the central plane 10 of the magazine when the cartridges are pushed out of the magazine. These inlays 15 and 16 are mirror-symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center plane 10. It is therefore sufficient if only the insert 15 is described below. The insert 15 has two legs 20 and 21 of equal length and parallel to one another, which are inserted into bores 22 of the housing 1. The bores 22 can be produced in one piece by injection molding at the same time as the housing 1 is made of plastic. The leg 21 closes at an angle of 90 ° a yoke 24 on. At its end facing away from the leg 21, this merges into a short section 26, the short section 26 and the yoke 24 enclosing an acute angle of approximately 80 ° to one another, as shown in FIG. 1. The short section 26 and the yoke 24 are parallel to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1, and the legs 20 and 21 are perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1. At the end of the short section 26 facing away from the yoke 24, it merges into the leg 20, which runs at right angles to the short section 26. Thus, the yoke 24 lies for the most part of its length outside a plane which passes through the legs 20 and 21 and is inclined at a small angle with respect to the longitudinal center plane 10, in such a way that the cartridge is pushed out (after above in Fig. 1) is deflected while sliding along the yoke 24 towards the longitudinal center plane 10.
The inserts 15 and 16 are fixed after the manufacture of the housing 1 by inserting the legs 20 and 21 into the bores 22. The yoke 24 is elastically deformed in the direction of the longitudinal center plane 10 so that it passes a locking lug 30 and engages below it. In the fully assembled state, the locking lug overlaps the yoke 24 so that the insert 15 cannot slide out of the bores 22. The locking lug 30 engages over the yoke 24 only approximately as far as the thickness of the yoke 24 corresponds. When the cartridge is pushed out, no part of the cartridge comes into contact with the latch. 2 shows the feeder 38, which is acted upon by a feeder spring 35, in a simplified manner.
The magazine shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 differs from the magazine shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 only in the area of the output opening of the magazine The main difference is that a differently designed insert is used. Only these differences are dealt with below.
The magazine housing 41 has lips 42 and 44. In the area of these lips, an insert 45 and 46 made of metal is arranged, which are mirror-symmetrical to each other. In the following only the insert 45 is described, which is also shown enlarged in FIGS. 7 and 8. The insert 45 has a section 60 comparable to section 20 of FIG. 2, which is inserted into a bore 62 extending in the longitudinal direction of the magazine housing 41. The section 60 is followed by a section 66 comparable to the section 26, and this is followed by a section 64 comparable to the section 24, which also here is inclined with respect to the longitudinal center plane of the magazine housing and opens in the direction of a cartridge when it is pushed out deflects the longitudinal median plane. At the end of section 64 facing away from section 66, the steel wire forming insert 45 is bent essentially in a direction opposite section 60 and forms section 68 there. At the end of the wire, the wire is again bent at approximately a right angle and extends from then on as a straight section 70, which runs parallel to section 64, up to the end 72, which is inserted into a bore 74 of the housing 41. The section 68 connecting the section 70 to the section 64 is curved in accordance with the cylindrical shape of the cartridge case, so that this section 68 does not disturb the contact of the cartridge with the section 70. In the case of a cartridge which has not yet been partially pushed out of the magazine, section 70 runs essentially in the region of the cartridge sleeve over the entire length of the cartridge and thus forms the cartridge in particular when it is deflected Cartridge in the direction of the longitudinal median plane an effective support for the rear edge of the sleeve, so that this edge can not wear down the magazine along the plastic parts of the cartridge.
The function of section 64 corresponds to the function of section 24, which was already described in the first example. When the cartridge to be dispensed is regarded as the top cartridge of the magazine, this section 64 lies approximately at half the height of the cartridge and thus essentially on the side of the cartridge floor. The section 70, on the other hand, lies in the uppermost cartridge, which has not yet been partially pushed out of the magazine, against the sleeve at a point which is offset to the outside by approximately 40 ° with respect to the uppermost surface line of the sleeve.
The insert 45 is prevented by the section 60 from moving in the longitudinal direction of the section 70. The insertion of the insert 45 out of the magazine in the longitudinal direction of the section 60 is prevented on the one hand by the engagement of the end 72 in the bore 74 and on the other hand by a groove of the magazine housing, in which the section 64 and the section 70 engage. This groove allows the insert 45 to be fastened in the magazine after the manufacture of the magazine as a single piece by injection molding, by first inserting it into the bore 74 and then resiliently deforming it so that the section 60 into the this associated bore 62 can be used and then snaps into the groove, the depth of which is smaller than the wire thickness.
In the examples, the magazines are designed to hold 30 cartridges of 9 mm Para caliber. The insert parts or deposits 15, 16, 45, 46 are made of steel wire with a round cross section and a thickness of about 0.6 mm by bending. In part 15, the length of the yoke 24 is approximately 11 mm, the length of the legs 20 and 21 is approximately 5 mm. The visible length of part 45 in FIGS. 7 and 8 is approximately 31 mm.
