Abstract

The invention relates to a protective fitting, consisting of an outer plate and an inner plate which each have a recess for the lock cylinder to be inserted between the two plates, and with a bushing for a handle, knob or the like. Wie aus der Figur 1 ersichtlich, weist das Außenschild 2 eine längliche Aussparung 1 auf, und in diese Aussparung ist der Einsatz 3 einfügbar, wobei die Tiefe der Aussparung geringer ist als die Dicke des Außenschildes, so daß der Einsatz 3, wie mit den kreisen angedeutet, von hinten, also von der Rückseite des Außenschildes, mit diesem verschraubbar ist. Die Aussparung ist nun so bemessen, daß der Einsatz 3 in zwei Positionen, und zwar gedreht um 180° einfügbar ist, so daß der Abstand zwischen dem Zylinderkernmittelpunkt und dem Drückermittelpunkt (die Ausnehmung für die Drückerwelle wird mit 9 bezeichnet) unterschiedlich ist, und zwar entweder 72 mm oder 92 mm beträgt.
