Dieser Einbruchmöglichkeit sucht man dadurch zu begegnen, dass der Durchgang im Schutzkörper, welcher den Zugang zum drehbaren Kern des Schlosses ermöglicht, durch einen drehbaren Schutzdeckel abgedeckt wird, in welchem zum Durchstecken des Schlüssels ein Schlitz ausgespart ist, durch den der drehbare Kern zugänglich ist. Zweckmässig ist hierbei die Hülse zu einer solchen koaxialen Ausrichtung der Kerne mindestens zweier Schlosszylinder zum Schutzdeckel drehbar und in mindestens zwei unterschiedlichen Positionen in die Ausnehmung des Schutzkörpers einstellbar.
