Printing machine of the kind comprising a frame (10), a guide (13) which, formed by two parallel bars (15) pivotally cross-braced by uprights (16), is articulated, through a set of deformable parallelograms (17), to arms (18) mounted in such a way that they pivot on the frame (10), and a carriage (20) which carries a means of printing (21) and is mounted so that it can move with a reciprocating motion on the guide (13), with, on the one hand, means for controlling displacement (29, 32, 34) adapted to a cyclic reciprocating displacement of the carriage (20) on its guide (13), and, on the other hand, means for controlling lifting adapted to a cyclic pivoting of the arms (18) carrying the said guide (13) leading to a temporary raising of the said means of printing (21), the said means for controlling lifting comprising a cam (29) which is mounted so that it rotates about an axis (Al) perpendicular to the plane of the bars (15) forming the guide (13), and with the edge of which there cooperates a cam follower roller (36) carried by a longitudinal member (37) which controls the set of deformable parallelograms (17) to which the guide (13) belongs, characterised in that the longitudinal member (37) carrying the said cam follower roller (36) is pivotally carried by two arms (18), at the same level, of the said deformable parallelograms (17), and it is engaged with means for maintaining angular orientation capable of maintaining the axis (A2) of the said cam follower roller (36) parallel to the axis (Al) of the said cam (29).

Printing machine according to Claim 1, characterised in that the means for maintaining angular orientation with which the longitudinal member (37) carrying the cam follower roller (36) is engaged comprise an upright (38) which extends pivotally between two arms (18), at different levels, of the said set of deformable parallelograms (17), and to which the said longitudinal member (37) is keyed.
  3. Printing machine according to Claim 1, characterised in that the means of maintaining the angular orientation with which the longitudinal member (37) carrying the cam follower roller (36) is engaged comprise a yoke (52), which is fitted over the said longitudinal member (37) thanks to two parallel flats (53) provided on it for this purpose, and which is itself engaged with an upright (16) extending pivotally between two arms (18), at different levels, of the set of deformable parallelograms (17).
  4. Printing machine according to Claim 3, characterised in that the said yoke (52) is engaged with the said upright (16) through the intermediary of a member (54) relative to which it can move with a reciprocating motion along a direction perpendicular to the plane of the bars (15) forming the guide (13), and which can itself move with a reciprocating motion on the said upright (16) along a direction parallel to this plane.
  5. Printing machine according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the longitudinal member (37) carrying the cam follower roller (36) extends directly between two arms (18), at the same level, of the set of deformable parallelograms (17).
  6. Printing machine according to Claim 5, characterised in that the said longitudinal member (37) is keyed axially to one of the arms (18) between which it extends, and it is engaged freely with the other.
  7. Printing machine according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the cam follower roller (36) extends within the actual thickness of the longitudinal member (37) which carries it, thanks to a slot (45) in that member.
  8. Printing machine according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that, its frame (10) comprising two parallel brackets (12) for supporting the set of deformable parallelograms (17) carrying the carriage (20), the arms of the said set of deformable parallelograms (17) are situated outside the said brackets (12).
  9. Printing machine according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that, the means for controlling the displacement of the carriage (20) including the cam (29), the said cam (29) controls the said carriage (20) directly.
