Abstract

The invention relates to a double lock cylinder (10) having a blocking/unblocking device which works electrically and which can be activated as a function of an associated coding of the key (11), and, to achieve a version as self-sufficient as possible in terms of voltage source, proposes that one cylinder side (14) should carry an actuating knob (12) which is equipped with solar cells (32) on its upper surface and which has inside it an accumulator fed from the solar-cell current. <IMAGE>
