Mithin wird quasi eine fiktive "Einstellung" des nicht verstellbaren Druckwerks dadurch vorgenommen, daß dessen Sujetposition relativ zu den Sujetpositionen der übrigen Druckwerke verändert wird, wobei dieses nicht durch eine Lageveränderung der Sujetposition des nicht verstellbaren Druckwerks erfolgt (was aufgrund der Unverstellbarkeit auch gar nicht möglich wäre), sondern durch folgerichtige, relative Registerverstellung der übrigen, verstellbaren Druckwerke erzielt wird. Für eine korrekte Ausrichtung der einzelnen Druckplatten werden die verstellbaren Druckwerke auf die Sujetposition des nicht verstellbaren Druckwerks deckungsgenau eingestellt. Dieses ist aufgrund der erfindungsgemäßen Steuerbefehl-Eingabevorrichtung z. B. auf einfache Weise vom Leitstand der Druckmaschine aus möglich. Die Steuerbefehlseingabe kann manuell oder aber auch maschinell (automatisch) erfolgen. Die geschilderten aufwendigen, bekannten Maßnahmen, wie z. B. die Lagekorrektur des Gummituchs, können entfallen. Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die Ausbildung des nicht verstellbaren Druckwerks als Lackierwerk beschränkt, sondern läßt sich z. B. im Mehrfarbendruck auch bei dem Druckwerk eines bestimmten Farbauszugs einsetzen. Da bei diesem Druckwerk erfindungsgemäß auf eine Registerverstellung verzichtet werden kann, vereinfacht sich die Bauweise. Nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß bei der Einstellung des Registers ein ausgewähltes Druckwerk als Leit-Druckwerk vorgesehen ist, und daß die Steuereinrichtung die auftretenden Verstelldaten bei der Einstellung der übrigen Druckwerke unter Berücksichtigung deren vor der Einstellung jeweils vorliegenden Positionsabweichungsdaten zum Leit-Druckwerk selbsttätig heranzieht. Das Leit-Druckwerk weist die sogenannte Standfarbe auf, wobei im Mehrfarbendruck eine der Farben, beispielsweise C, M, Y (C = Cyan, M = Magenta, Y = Yellow) oder auch B (B = Black) als Standardfarbe bestimmt werden kann. Sin die relativen Sujetpositionen der übrigen mit Registerverstelung versehenen Druckwerke gegenüber dem die Standardfarbe führenden, verstellbaren Druckwerk bekannt, so ist es für ein deckungsgenaues AUsrichten der einzelnen verstellbaren Druckwerke untereinander lediglich erforderlich, die Verstelldaten bezüglich des Leit-Druckwerks relativ zur Sujetposition des nicht verstellbaren Druckwerks zu ermitteln. Werden diese Verstelldaten in die Steuerbefehl-Eingabevorrichtung eingegeben, so erfolgt nicht nur eine Registerverstellung des die Standardfarbe aufweisenden Druckwerks, sondern gleichzeitig auch eine Registereinstellung aller übrigen verstellbaren Druckwerke, da deren einzunehmende Registerposition aufgrund der vorhandene Daten maschinell ermittelt werden können. Diese Verlagerung hat zur Folge, daß nunmehr die Abstände des Farbauszugs 19 zum Bedruckstoffrand 21 bzw. 22 verändert sind. Diese Positionsabweichungsdaten e, f, g, h werden durch Lageermittlung von den Farbauszügen 19, 23 und 24 jeweils zugeordneten Paßkreuzen 18 (Figur 2) aufgefunden. Claims (14)

  1. Printing machine having a plurality of printing units (2-5) which are provided with circumferential (U) and lateral (S) register adjustment devices to which a control command input device (16) is assigned, with which a position change of the subject (20) is effected by consistent register adjustments of the printing units (2, 3, 4), characterized in that one printing unit (5) is designed without a circumferential (U) and lateral (S) register adjustment device and is non-adjustable.
  2. Printing machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the non-adjustable printing unit (5) is a varnishing unit (15).
  3. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that during the setting of the register a selected printing unit (2) is provided as lead printing unit, and in that the control apparatus (25) automatically calls up the adjustment data (dimension c, d) occurring during the setting of the other printing units (3, 4) giving due regard to their position deviation data (e, f, g, h), prevailing in each case prior to the setting, relative to the lead printing unit.
  4. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the determination of the position of the register markings (17) takes place automatically by means of a register cross-reader.
  5. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that lateral and front markers (14, 14'), serving for the alignment of the printing carrier, are also adjusted by the control apparatus (25) in such a way that the subject of the printed product has the required spacings (a, b) from the edges (21, 22) of the printing carrier.
  6. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the setting of the register or adjustment of the lateral and front markers (14, 14') takes place essentially uniformly at a low speed.
  7. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the setting or adjustment speed is dependent on the length of the setting path and/or the printing speed.
  8. Printing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the setting or the adjustment speed increases with a greater printing speed.
  9. Process for correction of the register setting on the printing units (2-5) of a printing machine according to one or more of the preceding Claims 1-8, in particular offset printing machine, the printing units of which printing machine are provided with circumferential and lateral register adjustment devices and which change the subject position by consistent register adjustment of the printing units (2, 3, 4), characterized in that on one printing unit (5) the circumferential and lateral register is not adjusted.
  10. Process according to Claim 9, characterized in that that adjustable printing unit (2) is selected as lead printing unit, the subject of which has the correct position relative to the edges of the printing carrier or is nearest to this position.
  11. Process according to one of Claims 9-10, characterized in that the position deviations (position deviation data e, f, g, h) of the subject (colour separations) of the adjustable printing units (3, 4) relative to the subject position (colour separation position) of the lead printing unit (printing unit 2) are determined and stored.
  12. Process according to Claim 11, characterized in that the determination takes place by means of a register marking reader, in particular register cross-reader.
  13. Process according to one of Claims 9-12, characterized in that the position deviation of the subject (colour separation) of the lead printing unit (printing unit 2) relative to the subject position of the non-adjustable printing unit (5) is determined and entered.
  14. Process according to one of Claims 9-13, characterized in that, on the basis of the stored position deviation data (e, f, g, h) between the position of the subject (colour separation) of the lead printing unit (printing unit 2) and the subject positions (colour separation positions) of the remaining adjustable printing units (3, 4), a register adjustment of the lead printing unit causes an automatic, consistent correction of the register adjustments of the remaining adjustable printing units (3, 4).
