Markers of the first type are used in such installations where loss of the markers cannot be accepted resulting in the identification picture getting incomplete or erroneous.

However, the retaining action can be amplified if legs 4 and 5 are provided with shoulder-like protrusions 9 adjacent their junctions with the outer portion 1.

Claims (3)

  1. Vorrichtung zur Markierung von elektrischen Leitungen, die vorzugsweise durch Extrusion als ein integriertes Werkstück aus elastischem Kunststoffmaterial hergestellt wird, wobei die Vorrichtung in nicht montiertem Zustand einen Querschnitt mit einem äußeren Teil (1) aufweist, das wie ein invertiertes U oder ein Halbkreis geformt ist, dessen Enden in einen inneren Teil (3) übergehen, der zwei seitliche Fortsätze (4, 5) und ein Mittelteil (6) aufweist, und zwischen dem und dem äußeren Teil ein Raum zur Aufnahme der Leitung festgelegt wird, auf welcher die Vorrichtung dann gegen ungewolltes Abnehmen dadurch geschützt ist, daß es auf die Leitung in Richtung von deren Längsachse aufgeschoben ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der zentrale Teil (6) elastisch deformierbar ist, um eine alternative Montage der Vorrichtung zu ermöglichen, wenn die Leitung (7) radial in den Zwischenraum zwischen den Fortsätzen (4, 5) eingeschoben wird, wobei die Vorrichtung in ihrer montierten Lage aufgrund einer Einschnappbewegung auf der Leitung gehalten wird, die dann über den größten Teil ihres Umfangs durch das Mitteilteil (6) umgeben ist.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mitteilteil (6) des inneren Teils in an sich bekannter Weise wie ein Blaseblag geformt ist, um die Verwendung der Markierungsvorrichtung auf Leitungen mit sich gegenseitig unterscheidenden Durchmessern zu ermöglichen.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fortsätze (4, 5) neben ihren Übergängen zu dem äußeren Teil (1) sich gegenüberliegende Fortsätze (9) oder dergleichen aufweisen, die das Einschnappen, welches zum Festhalten der Vorrichtung dient, unterstützen.
