Hierbei weisen diese Gelenkbolzenenden 1"a dann Ringnuten 14 auf, in denen lösbare Schnellverschlußelemente 15 für diese unteren bzw. äußeren Außenlaschen 2 festgelegt sind. Als Schnellverschlußelemente sind vorzugsweise aus Federstahl hergestellte Aufsteckbleche 15 vorgesehen, die vorzugsweise etwa U-förmige Ausnehmungen 16 (mit einer dem Durchmesser der Ringnuten 14 angepaßten Weite) aufweisen, wobei diese Ausnehmungen 16 nach der einen Längsseite 15a des Aufsteckbleches 15 hin offen sind.     c) supporting members (4) for dies or needle strips attached to the outer side-plates (3, 3'), and
    d) annular protecting rollers (8) rotatably mounted on the bushes (5),
    e) wherein a plain bearing (10, 11) made from high-temperature-resistant plastics material, preferably polyimide, is disposed both between the shank of each joint bolt (1) and the associated bush (5) and also between this bush (5) and the protecting roller (8),
    characterised in that

  6. Material transport chain as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the plain bearings (13) between the bushes (5) and the protecting rollers (8") are constructed in each case in the form of one-piece straight hollow cylinders.
  7. Material transport chain as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the protecting rollers (8) have a particularly large material thickness (D) in the radial direction, and - for the purpose of a rolling transverse support of the material transport chain in an associated chain guide rail (9) - their outer circumference projects markedly outwards with respect to the outer contour of the associated inner side-plates (6, 7).
  8. Material transport chain as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that sliding arms (12) which are supported on outer side-plates (3') are provided on one long side of the chain at least in the region of the outer circumference of the supporting rollers (8) and spaced therefrom for transverse support of the transport chain on an associated chain guide rail (9).
