- the role of the circular collar is to prevent the juice from reaching the motor by passing under the driver and through the opening for the passage of the shaft made in the base supporting the tank, and thus protect the motor.
- this collar is not always as effective as it would be desirable. Indeed, during the high speed rotation of the basket, the juice tends to be sucked along the flange and there may be overflows, causing the engine large damage.
