  • the present invention thus makes it possible to constitute a true network of associated tents, by sharing lateral poles either with lateral poles of identical tents or with poles of "tunnel" type tents.
  • a tent according to the invention which consists, in this particular non-limiting embodiment, of a central tent 1 to which are connected, for example, three side tents 2,3,4 , the two side tents 2,3 extending along the same axis, on either side of the central tent 1, the third side tent or middle tent 4 extending on one side of the central tent 1, according to an axis perpendicular to the axis of the two side tents 2,3.

  • This frame comprises two vertical diametral hoops 9 and 11 substantially the same shape and four lateral arches 12,13,14,15 of the same shape, the lower ends of which are located respectively at the points 5,6,7,8 of the base square.
  • All the poles are made up of flexible rods which are arched so as to have the appropriate curvature when the tent is erected, or else by segments of tubular poles nested one inside the other.
  • the diametral arch 9 extends in a vertical plane passing through the opposite vertices 5 and 7 of the base square, that is to say by one of the diagonals of the square, while the other diametral arch 11 passes by the opposite vertices 6 and 8 of the base square and therefore containing the other diagonal of the square.
  • These poles cross at the top 16 of the tent, passing one above the other, and they are engaged in sheaths 17 integral with the fabric 18 of the central tent 1, above the latter. as shown in more detail in FIG. 4, so that the fabric 18 of the central tent 1 is suspended from the sleeves 17.

Therefore the two lower ends of the lateral arch 12 are located at the vertices 5 and 6 of the base square, the two lower ends of the lateral arch 13 are located at the vertices 6 and 7 of this square, the two lower ends of the lateral arch 14 are located at the vertices 7 and 8 and the two lower ends of the lateral arch 15 are located at the two vertices 8 and 5.
  • the fabrics of the side tents 2,3,4, are connected to the central tent 1, at the location of the side poles 12, 13, 14, 15 which thus serve as starting points for these tents.

It is also possible to attach several central tents 1 and connect them along their lateral poles, so as to increase the extent of the central zone of the tent.

  • the connecting elements consist of straps 20, each of the ends of which is provided with two holes, respectively intended to receive one end of a diametral arch 11, and one end of a lateral arch 14 or 15.
  • each of the straps 20 would then be provided at each of its ends with three holes intended to receive the respective ends of two lateral arches 14, 15 and of a diametral arch 11.
  • the straps 20 can also be used to secure the tent 28 on the diametrical and lateral poles.
  • each of the straps 20 is provided, near one end of a lateral arch, with a fixing hole 24 intended to receive a link 26 secured to the fabric 28 of the tent and making it possible to secure it.
