Abstract
Kraftzellenanordnung für Druckluft-Radialmotoren, mit einer Mehrzahl, rosettenförmig zueinander angeordnete, in drucklosem Zustand angenähert ebene, zum wechselseitigen Aufblasen mit Luftanschlussmitteln (5) versehene Kraftzellen (4), die durch Verschweissung von zwei Kunststoff-Folienblätter (1,2) entlang der Zellen-Peripherien gebildet sind. Durch die CH-Patentschriften 589'232 resp. 595'572 sind bereits Kraftzellenanordnungen der vorgenannten Art bekannt geworden, die aus zugfesten Kunststoffolienblättern hergestellt sind, welche durch Schweissen verbunden werden, um einen Balg zu bilden. Diese bekannten Kraftzellen sind entweder mit kreisscheibenförmigem Grundriss konzipiert, oder weisen aber einen Grundriss auf, dessen Berandung abwechselnd durch konvexe und konkave Partien gebildet wird. Sind, wie im ersten Fall, die Kraftzellen durch zwei kreisscheibenförmige Folienblätter, die entlang ihrer Kreisperipherie verschweisst sind, gebildet, so bieten diese wohl den Vorteil einer einfachen Werkzeugfertigung zur Herstellung der Folienblätter, erweisen sich jedoch bezüglich der auftretenden Folienspannungen in den verschiedenen Hublagen als problematisch. Die Ursache dazu bilden die bei der funktionsbedingten Verkürzung der Umfanglänge auftretenden, tangentialen Druckkräfte, welche ab einer kritischen Hubhöhe Einknickungen am Zellenrand, entsprechend den Nahtpartien, verursachen, was die Lebensdauer der Zellen erheblich mindert. Um dem entgegen zu wirken, wurden Kraftzellen entsprechend der zweiten erwähnten Konstruktionsweise entworfen, bei welchen die in den konkaven Randpartien entstehenden Tangentialdruckkräfte durch entstehende Tangentialzugkräfte an den konvexen Umfangsstellen wenigstens partiell eliminiert werden. Aber auch dies hat zu keinen brauchbaren Ergebnissen geführt, weshalb sich auf die Wirkung solcher Kraftzellen beruhende Druckluft-Radialmotoren trotz deren hervorragende Eigenschaften bisher nicht durchsetzen konnten.
