Definitions
- the invention relates to a sub-roof for roofs covered with roofing panels according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a known, generic sub-roof for roofs covered with roofing panels (DE 36 23 428 C2) consists of overlapping in the direction of the slope, provided on the top with at least one hanging edge for the roofing panels, laid on roof battens. These each have a middle part, to which a wedge-shaped plate part adjoins on the ridge and eaves side, which in each case merges into the plate middle part via a step and corresponds to the other wedge-shaped plate part with respect to its length measured in the downward direction.
- the sum of the lengths of the middle and the eaves-side panel part, measured in the downward direction, corresponds at least to the length of the ridge-side panel part, the length of which corresponds approximately to the distance between the roof battens.
- the invention has for its object to form the thermal insulation panels of a sub-roof of the type in question so that they provide simple coverage with simple and less susceptible to damage training.
- the plate center part has a greater thickness than the edges of the wedge-shaped plate parts facing the plate center.
- the ridge-side panel part passes through a top step and the eaves-side panel part merges into the panel center part through an underside step which is supported on the ridge-side side surface of the roof batten in question.
- the side panel edges form a side fold, which begins at a distance from the ridge-side panel edge in the ridge-side panel part, extends over the central panel part and ends at a distance from the eaves-side panel edge in the eaves-side panel part and which rises at an acute angle to the roof battens level.
- the thermal insulation boards used in the sub-roof according to the invention advantageously have a compact shape and a handy size. They result in single coverage in the covering.
- no significant weak points form due to the wedge-shaped overlap, so that a uniform thermal insulation panel size is suitable for different roof lath spacings.
- the thermal insulation boards are pulled in the downward direction, the mutual positions and relative heights of each other adjust so that the contact surfaces lie essentially flat against one another. The contact surfaces are also pressed together by the weight of the roofing slabs, so that very high windproofness is achieved with largely gap-free thermal insulation.
- the side folds do not need to be installed flush with the slope are, so that with a shifted plate laying in the individual rows according to claim 7, a great tightness, in particular also a high windproofness, is obtained.
- a thermal insulation panel 1 for creating a sub-roof which consists of a wedge-shaped, ridge-side panel part 2, a central panel part 8 and a wedge-shaped, eaves-side panel part 3, the wedge-shaped panel parts 2, 3 thicker towards the center of the panel and pass into the middle part of the plate 8 via a step 6 on the lower side or a step 20 on the upper side.
- the wedge-shaped plate parts 2, 3 correspond to each other in their length measured in the downward direction.
- the underside 4 of the eaves-side plate part 3 and the top side 5 of the first-side plate part 2 form flat contact surfaces in the covering (cf. FIG. 4).
- the step 6 on the underside is supported on the ridge-side side surface 11 of a roof batten 12 (cf. FIG. 4).
- a support strip 7 is provided on the ridge-side edge 9 of the ridge-side plate part 2, the width of which corresponds approximately to the width of the roof batten 12 underneath.
- the underside 13 of the support strip 7 merges with the roof batten 12 into the underside 15 of the ridge-side panel part 2, which is below the top of the batten and above the rafter top, and which is flush with the underside of the panel middle part 8.
- An arcuate transition 14 is provided here, which looks good from the inside of the roof.
- the roof battens level 10 is indicated by a dashed line (cf. also Fig. 4).
- the underside 4 of the eaves-side plate part 3 starts from the base of the underside step 6 as a flat surface and is inclined upwards at an acute angle with respect to the roof battens plane 10. Accordingly, the top 5 of the ridge-side plate part 2 starts from the base of the top step 20 as a flat surface and runs parallel to the bottom 4.
- the side fold 25 is designed as a step fold with a water guide channel 21 in the covered fold part 23, which is overlapped by a cover fold part 22 on the other longitudinal edge of the adjacent thermal insulation panel 1.
- the covered fold part 23 ends to form a downwardly open outlet 24 at a distance in front of the eaves-side end of the side fold 25.
- the side fold 25 begins at a distance from the ridge-side plate edge 9 in the ridge-side plate part 2, extends over the plate middle part 8 and ends at a distance from the eaves-side Panel edge 19 in the eaves-side panel part 3.
- the side fold 25 rises at an acute angle to the roof battens level 10.
- the dashed lines 26 in FIG. 2 indicate thermal insulation panels 1 covering the ridge side, from which it can be seen that these are offset from one another in the individual rows.
- FIG. 4 shows a side view of a plurality of thermal insulation boards 1 laid on a roof structure. These are shown in their densest crowded position, the eaves and ridge-side plate parts 3 and 2 overlapping with their undersides 4 and tops 5 tapering outward and obliquely. It is readily apparent that in the case of roof battens 12 which are somewhat further apart, the individual thermal insulation panels 1 with their oblique undersides 4 and top sides 5 can be pulled apart in a sliding manner. The thermal insulation panels 1 pivot around the tops of the roof battens 12 and the steps 6 move a little further down next to the ridge-side surfaces 11 of the roof battens 12, for which purpose the distance 27 between the panel undersides 15 and the rafters 28 is required. Despite this pulling apart, the thermal insulation boards 1 adjust relative to each other again so that the undersides 4 and the tops 5 lie on one another essentially without gaps.
- roofing panels 29 formed from beaver tail roof panels, which are suspended on the hanging strips 17 and 18. The weight of the roofing panels 29 presses the undersides 4 and the tops 5 close together.
- FIG. 5 shows a somewhat modified, second embodiment of thermal insulation boards 1, in which the strips 17, 18 are made wider than in the first embodiment, again with a step 20 as a hooking edge and a groove 30 for hooking in a further roofing board 29 is.
- a third embodiment of thermal insulation boards 1 (cf. FIG. 6) is only modified compared to the second embodiment in that the hanging edge is formed by a further step 20 which is offset somewhat on the eaves side. This enables a very short plate design to be achieved, but the undersides 4 and the tops 5 must be chosen to be relatively large.
- FIG. 7 A fourth embodiment is shown in FIG. 7.
- the side fold 25, as shown in FIG. 8, is designed as a water-guiding spring 32 engaging in a groove 31. 7 also does not extend to the ridge-side and eaves-side panel edge 9 or 19, respectively.
- the thermal insulation panels 1 are of point symmetry in cross section, so that they can be used on the left and right and are rotatable. Drainage grooves (not shown) can be formed in the hanging strips 17, 18 in a known manner.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sub-roof for roofs covered with roofing panels according to the preamble of claim 1.
A known, generic sub-roof for roofs covered with roofing panels (DE 36 23 428 C2) consists of overlapping in the direction of the slope, provided on the top with at least one hanging edge for the roofing panels, laid on roof battens. These each have a middle part, to which a wedge-shaped plate part adjoins on the ridge and eaves side, which in each case merges into the plate middle part via a step and corresponds to the other wedge-shaped plate part with respect to its length measured in the downward direction.
In the case of the thermal insulation panels used, the sum of the lengths of the middle and the eaves-side panel part, measured in the downward direction, corresponds at least to the length of the ridge-side panel part, the length of which corresponds approximately to the distance between the roof battens. This leads to relatively long thermal insulation boards, which are to be laid in such a way that they form an offset double or multiple cover. Due to the double or multiple coverage, no water-bearing side folds are required. Due to the necessary, relatively large length of the thermal insulation boards, storage, transport and laying can be difficult compared to shorter board designs, such as are used for single roofing, depending on the circumstances. Shorter plate designs for single covers usually have complicated side rebate designs that are prone to damage.
The invention has for its object to form the thermal insulation panels of a sub-roof of the type in question so that they provide simple coverage with simple and less susceptible to damage training.
This object is achieved with the features in the characterizing part of claim 1.
According to claim 1, the plate center part has a greater thickness than the edges of the wedge-shaped plate parts facing the plate center. In this case, the ridge-side panel part passes through a top step and the eaves-side panel part merges into the panel center part through an underside step which is supported on the ridge-side side surface of the roof batten in question. The side panel edges form a side fold, which begins at a distance from the ridge-side panel edge in the ridge-side panel part, extends over the central panel part and ends at a distance from the eaves-side panel edge in the eaves-side panel part and which rises at an acute angle to the roof battens level.
The thermal insulation boards used in the sub-roof according to the invention advantageously have a compact shape and a handy size. They result in single coverage in the covering. When pulling in the downward direction, no significant weak points form due to the wedge-shaped overlap, so that a uniform thermal insulation panel size is suitable for different roof lath spacings. When the thermal insulation boards are pulled in the downward direction, the mutual positions and relative heights of each other adjust so that the contact surfaces lie essentially flat against one another. The contact surfaces are also pressed together by the weight of the roofing slabs, so that very high windproofness is achieved with largely gap-free thermal insulation.
Thanks to the wedge-shaped contact surfaces, simple and robust side fold formation is possible, which is less susceptible to damage. A good ridge and eaves solution can also be implemented.
With the features according to claim 2 it is achieved that at the beginning of the side fold in the ridge-side plate part a sufficiently large material thickness is available for a robust design of the side fold with not too small cross sections.
With the features according to
With a cross-sectionally symmetrical design of the thermal insulation panels according to claim 6, the laying work is simplified in that no distinction must be made between the top and bottom of the thermal insulation panels.
Due to the shape of the thermal insulation panels, the side folds do not need to be installed flush with the slope are, so that with a shifted plate laying in the individual rows according to claim 7, a great tightness, in particular also a high windproofness, is obtained.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

In Fig. 1, a thermal insulation panel 1 for creating a sub-roof is shown, which consists of a wedge-shaped, ridge-side panel part 2, a
Fig. 4). Fig. 4).The
A support strip 7 is provided on the ridge-side edge 9 of the ridge-side plate part 2, the width of which corresponds approximately to the width of the
Dabei steigt die Seitenverfalzung 25 spitzwinkelig zur Dachlattenebene 10 an.2 and 3, the longitudinal edge configuration of the thermal insulation board 1, which is designed as a
The
These are shown in their densest crowded position, the eaves and ridge-
From Fig. 4 it can also be clearly seen that water is passed on from the
The sub-roof constructed according to FIG. 4 is covered with
A third embodiment of thermal insulation boards 1 (cf. FIG. 6) is only modified compared to the second embodiment in that the hanging edge is formed by a
A fourth embodiment is shown in FIG. 7. In this embodiment, the
