Die vorliegende Neuerung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum nebelarmen Feinst­zerstäuben eines flüssigen Wirkstoffes, vorzugsweise eines Trennmittels für die Elektroschweißung. Es ist allgemein bekannt, daß die für viele Wirkstoffe verwendeten Spraydosen die Umwelt äußerst stark belasten, bedingt durch das Treibgas.
Der vorliegenden Neuerung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung der gattungsgemäßen Art als Ersatz für Spraydosen mit Treibgasen aller Art zu schaffen, die ohne Verwendung von für die Umwelt schädlichen Stoffen zu betreiben ist, wobei die Zerstäubung mit der von Spraydosen gleichzusetzen ist. Die Vorrichtung soll außerdem ergonomisch günstig gestaltet und ohne Verwendung von Kabeln und Schläuchen funktionsfähig sein

Die gestellte Aufgabe wird neuerungsgemäß durch eine Vorrichtung ge­löst, die einen von einem Akkumulator speisbaren Elektromotor, einen von dem Elektromotor antreibbaren Verdichter zur Erzeugung eines För­derdruckes für den in einen Behälter eingefüllten Stoff beinhaltet. Die neuerungsgemäße Vorrichtung ist im Sinne eines Elektrowerkzeuges zu sehen, welches nach dem Injektorprinzip arbeitet. Zur Zerstäubung wird nunmehr anstelle des Treibgases in umweltfreundlicher Weise Druck­luft verwendet. Durch den Verdichter wird ein Luftstrahl erzeugt, der bewirkt, daß solche Druckverhältnisse entstehen, daß der durch den Unterdruck im Injektor entstandene Sog den betreffenden Wirkstoff aus dem Behälter saugt und durch eine Vermischung mit der Luft zerstäubt. Da der Elektromotor von einem wiederaufladbaren Akkumulator gespeist wird, entfällt das Stromzuführungskabel. Da der Verdichter in die Vor­richtung integriert ist, ist keine Schlauchleitung notwendig. Die Vor­richtung ist so ausgelegt, daß sie vom Gewicht und von der Größe her so ist, daß sie bequem mit einer Hand zu handhaben ist. Sie soll vor­zugsweise für den gewerblichen Bereich verwendet werden, beispielsweise in der Schweißtechnik, um ein Trennmittel als hauchdünnen Film auf die an einer zu ziehenden Schweißnaht angrenzenden Fläche zu sprühen, damit keine Schweißspritzer an den Werkstücken haftenbleiben. Zweckmäßigerweise sind der Elektromotor und der Verdichter in einem Ge­häuse angeordnet, welches einen Druckluftkanal und einen Flüssigkeits­kanal aufweist, wobei an dem Gehäuse der Behälter für den Wirkstoff festlegbar und wobei dem Behälter eine am Gehäuse anschraubbare Düse zugeordnet ist, in die eine Düsennadel eingreift. Der zerstäubte Wirk­stoff tritt durch die Düsenöffnung aus. Die Anbringung des Elektromotors und des Verdichters in einem Gehäuse bringt in einfacher Weise die not­wendige Sicherheit zum Schutz der genannten Teile. Aus Stabilitätsgrün­den ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn dieses Gehäuse aus Aluminium ge­fertigt wird, da das Gerät überwiegend in der Schweißtechnik eingesetzt wird und somit die besagten Teile auch vor Hitze geschützt sind. Es ist jedoch auch denkbar, daß das Gehäuse aus einem geeigneten Kunststoff gefertigt ist. Um den aus der Düse austretenden Strahl zu verändern, ist vorgesehen, daß die Düse gegenüber der Düsennadel einstellbar ist. Da der Akkumulator nach einer bestimmten Betriebszeit wieder aufgeladen werden muß, ist in weiterer Ausgestaltung vorgesehen, daß er mittels einer Schnellspanneinrichtung am Gehäuse auswechselbar festlegbar ist. Eine ergonomisch günstige Form wird erreicht, wenn das Gehäuse winkel­förmig ausgebildet ist und ein Handstück aufweist, daß im oberen Bereich des Handstückes zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Elektromotors ein in die Gehäusewandung eingesetzter Schalter vorgesehen ist, und daß der Akku­mulator am unteren Rand des Handstückes des Gehäuses festlegbar ist. Zur Montage ist es vorteilhaft, wenn das Gehäuse aus zwei Gehäuse­hälften besteht, die im wesentlichen spiegelbildlich ausgebildet sind. Zum Auswechseln des Akkumulators 13 ist es nicht notwendig, das Gehäuse 10 zu demontieren. Diese Düse 25 ist deshalb mit einer Rändelung 28 versehen. Aus der Fig. 1 und der Beschreibung ergibt sich, daß zum Betrieb der Vorrichtung weder eine Stromzuführung noch eine Druckluftzuführung notwendig ist. Die Zerstäubung erfolgt unter Verwendung von Druckluft, ohne irgendwelche Stoffe, die für die Umwelt schädlich sind. Zum laufen­den Betrieb ist es nur notwendig, den entladenen Akkumulator 13 gegen einen wiederaufgeladenen auszutauschen.
