Abstract

Process for making and/or handling concrete blocks which are produced in moulds filled with concrete and are embossed on their surface by means of punches which have recesses or projections. The surface of the concrete blocks is subsequently roughened, shaped or textured and freed of loose parts by brushes, in particular strip brushes or roller brushes. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing and / or treating concrete blocks, in particular paving stones, the production taking place in molds filled with concrete and stamps corresponding to the shape or the stone surface for embossing the surface and visible edges, the stamps being recesses or Have projections and the surfaces or edges of the concrete blocks are processed with brushes in a subsequent operation.

In the earlier patent application, several different process steps, including brushes have also been proposed in order to free the surface or edges of the concrete blocks from loose parts and / or to additionally roughen, shape or structure them in the subsequent operation.

The object of the present invention is to further develop this downstream work step and in particular to present simple and practical but effective brush designs and arrangements. The object of the invention is achieved in that the brushes a Carry out oscillating movement parallel to the surface of the concrete blocks. By means of this oscillating movement, the brushes sweep back and forth not only in one direction over the stones, but in opposite directions, so that the surfaces or edges of the concrete blocks are reworked very advantageously. The stroke of the oscillating movement can be varied or adjusted so that a stroke reversal takes place on the surface of the concrete blocks with a corresponding bending of the bristles of the brushes. It is essential that the stones have not yet hardened, ie are fresh or only slightly dried or hardened, so that optimal processing can take place.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is proposed that the oscillating direction of movement of the brushes takes place at an acute angle to the direction of movement of the concrete blocks, so that all edges of the concrete blocks are machined evenly. The brushes are advantageously designed as a strip brush, the length of which corresponds to a large number of concrete block dimensions. As a result, the brush processing method can advantageously be connected in space and time directly to the embossing of the concrete blocks, especially since a large number of concrete blocks which leave the machine in one direction of movement on a pallet are preferably produced simultaneously during the embossing. A large number of concrete blocks are therefore advantageously processed simultaneously by the strip brush. A plurality of strip brushes can also be provided, which are arranged, for example, offset from one another.

It has proven to be advantageous to arrange several brushes of different types one behind the other so that the concrete block surfaces are machined several times.

  • Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Vielzahl von Betonsteinen mit einer darüber angeordneten Streifenbürste;
To further explain the invention, reference is made to the drawings in which several exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in simplified form. Show it:
  • Figure 1 is a plan view of a plurality of concrete blocks with a strip brush arranged above.
  • Fig. 2 is a side view of the concrete blocks and a strip brush and
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view with strip and roller brush arranged above the concrete blocks.

In Figures 1 to 3, as far as shown in detail, 3 concrete blocks are designated, which, as shown in Fig. 2, are arranged on a base or pallet 4, which is moved according to arrow 5. Above the concrete blocks 3 there is a strip brush, designated 6, which is mounted on stands 7 in such a way that it can be moved back and forth in accordance with the double arrow 8. The oscillating movement in the direction of the double arrow 8 is generated by a drive 9 arranged on one of the stands.

Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which a roller brush 10 is provided in addition to the strip brush 6. The roller brush 10 is rotatably supported in stands 7a. They are used to post-process the concrete blocks or their surfaces and edges.

The stand can be moved on the floor so that an optimal angular position of the strip and brush roller can be set. Furthermore, the strip brush 6 and roller brush 10 are adjustable in height on the stands, so that their intensity can also be varied. As already mentioned in the general description part, the stroke of the oscillating movement of the strip brush 6 and the stroke speed as well as the speed of the roller brush can be varied so that the desired machining effect occurs.
