Definitions
- the invention relates to a variable workstation furniture system.
- GB-PS 13 16 253 shows and describes a removable and reusable component group for erecting exhibition stands or presentation walls, for example.
- This known component group has columns with slots for hanging panels and wall parts, but is also not suitable for a variable workstation furniture system with a variety of possible combinations.
- the invention has for its object to provide a variable workstation furniture system that offers a wide variety of options and extensions, starting from a basic workplace, in its far-reaching flexibility.
- the polygonal profile of one type of column enables multi-angled attachment of workstation units, while the flat-rectangular profile of the other type of column can be used for any linear extension or row of workplaces.
- the assembly and disassembly of this new workstation furniture system is completely problem-free, for which purpose only a hexagon socket wrench is required to screw and clamp the parts.
- the combination of workplaces can also be easily changed at any time, ie converted, expanded or reduced, so that the system can be adapted to the respective requirements. In terms of statics, the system has a high Resilience. It also offers simple options for height adjustment of work station levels and attachment options for additional accessories.
- All worktops 1 and 2 shelves can be arranged at different heights as required. This is made possible by columns 3, 4, on which cross members 5 are braced, as explained in more detail below. Cantilever arms 6 are screwed to the crossbeams 5, on which the worktops 1 or storage plates 2 are fastened.
- FIG. 2 the connection between the column 3 and two trusses 5 is shown in an exploded view right angle and can also be arranged at an angle of 45 °.
- the column 3 is a cold-rolled and longitudinally welded profile from a single sheet metal blank with an essentially square plan, with raised surfaces 7 at the corners of this plan and surfaces 8 set back on the sides.
- grooves 9 are provided with inclined flanks 10, in the bottom of which there are slots 11 arranged one above the other, into which hooks 12 of U-shaped inserts 13 can be hung, which can be displaced obliquely upwards and downwards in adapter parts 14 are mounted, as explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.
- the adapter parts 14 are screwed to the ends of each cross member 5.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a variable workstation furniture system.
There are a number of workplace furniture designs, which either consist of work tables of different sizes and heights or allow the installation in an L-shape. However, these known constructions are only flexible to a limited extent in the installation forms and, for example, do not allow one or more additional storage areas at different heights.
There are rack frames with columns and cantilever arms that can be attached to them, e.g. for the storage of elongated workpieces such as rods, pipes or the like. Such a storage rack is described, for example, in US Pat. No. 3,212,648. However, this storage rack is not suitable for forming a variable workplace furniture system. Supporting parts can only be attached to this known racking rack at an angle of 180 °.
The invention has for its object to provide a variable workstation furniture system that offers a wide variety of options and extensions, starting from a basic workplace, in its far-reaching flexibility.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
The polygonal profile of one type of column enables multi-angled attachment of workstation units, while the flat-rectangular profile of the other type of column can be used for any linear extension or row of workplaces. The assembly and disassembly of this new workstation furniture system is completely problem-free, for which purpose only a hexagon socket wrench is required to screw and clamp the parts. The combination of workplaces can also be easily changed at any time, ie converted, expanded or reduced, so that the system can be adapted to the respective requirements. In terms of statics, the system has a high Resilience. It also offers simple options for height adjustment of work station levels and attachment options for additional accessories.

In Fig. 2, the connection between the
4 verspannt. In Fig. 3, a linear connection of two

Diese verspannte Stellung ist in Fig. 5 dargestellt.4 shows a side view of a connection between an
