Description

The invention relates to a work table, in particular for the office, laboratory and workshop area, with a worktop supported by means of two rear-side and front-side support elements, at least the rear support elements each being designed as hollow-profile support elements and coupling means with fastening openings for shape and non-positive screw connection have complementary coupling means provided on the worktop.

From DE-U-86 29967 a desk with a worktop and a base is known, which has vertical rectangular hollow profiles on the back of the desk into which electrical cables for electrifying the desk can be inserted. In these rectangular hollow profiles can be inserted and fixed in the form of tabs of supports, which are bent towards the front edge of the desk and serve to hold a support profile, which forms a storage area for devices such as computer monitors, printers and the like .

From FR-A-2 238 451 a work table of the type mentioned is known with a worktop supported by means of two rear and front support elements, in which at least the rear support elements each consist of a hollow profile which have coupling means with fastening openings. On the worktop are complementary to the coupling means designed and positively and non-positively screwed coupling members attached.

The object of the invention is to provide a work table of the type mentioned, which is problem-free, starting from a transparent and stable basic shape with simultaneous integration of the required technology expand, ie can be connected with identical and similar units and in particular has a recording facility for display and / or instrument blocks that does not reduce the actual work surface, whereby a high stability and safe reception of these instrument blocks must always be guaranteed.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the carrier elements designed as hollow profiles are guided upwards beyond the worktop,
that at least two integrally molded coupling flange surfaces, which extend at least over part of the length of the hollow profile part, are provided on each hollow profile part,
that a cross member unit, in particular a cross shelf or cross cabinet arrangement, is connected to the hollow profile support elements at a distance from the worktop by means of coupling members,
that the cross member unit forms a receptacle for, in particular, a plurality of plug-in units, and that lines are guided invisibly into the cross member unit via cable channels formed in the hollow profile carrier elements.

The creation of a cross member unit in the form of a receptacle for electrical plug-in units creates a stable second cross cabinet arrangement located above the work table, which can simultaneously form the outer housing for the plug-in units, enables invisible cable routing and the creation of combined units in the form of rows or on the back Couplings to achieve opposing double jobs. Due to the particularly variable connection options on the rear hollow profile beams, the height of the desired additional levels can be chosen as best as possible in accordance with the given application.

Preferably, the coupling flange surfaces integrally formed on each hollow profile support element in particular enclose a right angle between them and are provided with a series of fastening openings, wherein coupling elements which are designed to be complementary to the strip-shaped coupling flange surfaces and are positively and non-positively screwed to them are fastened to the worktop.

In this way, on the one hand, a stable connection of the coupling members connected to the worktop is made possible via the coupling flanges and, on the other hand, it is achieved that a variable connection of similar carrier elements from adjacent work tables or also from intermediate elements is possible via the coupling channels, so that stable and at the same time elegant rows and others required combinations can be obtained depending on the application.

In the laboratory and workshop area in particular, it is advantageous to design the cross member unit as a hollow profile part, it being possible for electrical connection areas or lighting units to be attached to the underside of the cross member unit.

An embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the outer boundary surfaces of the dome channels are located in two mutually perpendicular planes and that at least some of the dome channels and the coupling flanges have approaches for attaching cover profiles, with a flat cover profile plate between the dome flanges and in each case between a dome flange and an attachment of a dome channel, a cover angle profile can be fixed and these cover profiles together with the outer contour of the central part form a rectangular triangle in cross section.

This configuration not only leads to an optimal aesthetic appearance of the work table, but also enables the creation of advantageously usable cable routing channels.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, additional coupling surfaces with coupling channels are provided on the hollow profile support elements for coupling adjacent work tables or intermediate plates. In this case, coupling points for connections, in particular for compressed air or vacuum connections, are expediently integrated into the hollow profile support elements.

Between the hollow profile support elements, horizontally running cable ducts, cable ducts and the like are preferably arranged, whereby in the case of a series of work tables, cables guided therein are guided practically invisibly in the form of loops between the work tables, so that the work table also has an optimal aesthetic appearance .

For the stability and freedom from vibrations of work tables with in particular more than one level, it is advantageous if between the front support elements and the underside of the worktop at the rear area a rigid rod is arranged in each case.

Further particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the remaining subclaims.

Fig. 5 shows a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, in which the rear hollow profile support elements 2 are guided upwards beyond the worktop 1 and at a distance from the worktop 1, a cross member unit 22 is connected to the hollow profile support elements, in the same way as the work table via appropriately trained coupling elements. In this way, an additional, stable level is provided which enables, for example, a plurality of inserts 24 to be accommodated, which on the one hand permits good accessibility and observability of such inserts, but on the other hand does not lead to a reduction in the work surface 1. Via the cable channels formed in the hollow profile support elements 2, the necessary lines can be guided invisibly into the transverse plane area, which is preferably also designed as a hollow profile part, so that the respectively required electrical connection areas 23 can be provided there or lighting units can be attached if necessary.

Diese Arbeitstische sind mit Containern kombiniert, die fest oder beweglich angebracht sein können und mit der Arbeitsplatte 1 insbesondere seitenbündig sind.FIG. 6 shows an example of a combination of a work table of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 5 using an intermediate part 27. These work tables are combined with containers which can be attached in a fixed or movable manner and in particular are flush with the work surface 1.

The existing tubular central part of the hollow profile support element 2 forms a plug and bearing receptacle for preferably pivotable support parts, such as e.g. Carrier for communication devices or monitors, or for a pivotable lighting arrangement 25, as indicated schematically in FIG. 6. In this way, optimal workplace lighting can be achieved in a particularly space-saving manner.

The example shown in FIG. 7 of the combination of two work station arrangements according to FIG. 5 makes it clear that an extremely stable compact arrangement is obtained by placing two such units on the rear side and coupling the hollow profile support elements 2. By in rigid rod 14 between the front support elements 3 and the respective underside of the worktop 1 can be seen in a surprisingly simple manner to switch off any vibrations in the overall arrangement and at the same time to increase the stability.

The tubular central part 8 can be used particularly advantageously for supplying compressed air or vacuum to the respective work station. The central part 8 can serve directly as a guide pipe for compressed air or can be connected to a vacuum source, but it is also possible to lead corresponding pipe or hose lines within the central part 8. Coupling points for connection to compressed air or vacuum can be integrated directly into the support element.

Due to the connection and coupling options described above, the creation of a wide variety of configurations of work surfaces and, accordingly, an adaptation to spatial conditions and possibilities provided by certain work processes is guaranteed, both when using work tables with only one level and with tables with additional support levels.
