Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln und Querschneiden einer laufenden Warenbahn, die so lange auf eine angetriebene Aufnahmewalze gewickelt wird, bis ein bestimmter Wickeldurchmesser erreicht ist. Daraufhin wird die Aufnahmewalze aus der Wickelposition senkrecht zu ihrer Längserstreckung verlagert und eine noch unbewickelte, über einen Teil ihres Umfangs von der Warenbahn umschlungene nachfolgende Aufnahmewalze in die Wickelposition überführt. Unterdessen stellt das über den Zwickel plazierte Zugwalzenpaar sicher, daß der nach Durchführung des Trennschnitts aus der Rotation der bereits vollbewickelten Aufnahmewalze für den neuen Warenbahnabschnitt entfallende Warenbahnzug unterbrechungslos ersetzt wird. Der neue Warenbahnabschnitt läuft daher, angetrieben vom Zugwalzenpaar, mit unveränderter Geschwindigkeit der noch zu bewickelnden Aufnahmewalze zu. Ist der so eingeleitete Anwickelvorgang beendet, kann auf den Außenumfang der nun im Bewickeln begriffenen Aufnahmewalze eine Antriebswalze gepreßt werden und die Funktion des Zugwalzenpaares ersetzen. Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist dadurch zur Durchführung des Verfahrens besonders geeignet, wenn sie erfindungsgemäß durch folgende Merkmale gekennzeichnet ist:
- eine zweite Antriebswalze, die in einem schwenkbaren Walzenstuhl gelagert und auf den Außenumfang des sich um die noch zu bewickelnde zweite Aufnahmewalze bildenden Warenbahnwickels auflegbar ist,
- eine Gruppe von Umlenkwalzen, die in einem gemeinsamen Traggestell gelagert ist, das seinerseits schwenkbar am Walzenstuhl gelagert ist,
- zwei im Walzenstuhl nebeneinandergelagerte, gegeneinanderpreßbare Walzen, von denen mindestens eine Walze angetrieben ist,
- ein im Walzenstuhl unterhalb der gegeneinanderpreßbaren Walzen rotierbar gelagertes, sich über die maximale Breite einer Warenbahn erstreckendes Schneidorgan,
- eine Führung der Warenbahn um die einzelnen Umlenkwalzen derart, daß sich das Traggestell mit den Umlenkwalzen unbehindert in eine Position schwenken läßt, bei der die Warenbahn die noch zu bewickelnde Aufnahmewalze über einen Teil ihres Umfangs umschlingt,
- eine Verschwenkbarkeit des Walzenstuhls und des Traggestells mit den Umlenkwalzen in eine Position, durch welche ein Warenbahnteilstück und die noch zu bewickelnde Aufnahmewalze ein in Laufrichtung der Warenbahn und in Umfangsrichtung dieser Aufnahmewalze einen sich verengenden Zwickel bilden, dessen Öffnung in einem Bereich unterhalb einer gemeinsamen senkrechten Tangente der beiden aufeinanderpreßbaren Walzen liegt.

Verfahren zum Aufwickeln und Querschneiden einer laufenden Warenbahn, die so lange auf eine angetriebene Aufnahmewalze gewickelt wird, bis ein bestimmter Wickeldurchmesser erreicht ist, worauf die Aufnahmewalze aus der Wickelposition senkrecht zu ihrer Längserstreckung verlagert und eine noch unbewickelte, über einen Teil ihres Umfanges von der Warenbahn umschlungene nachfolgende Aufnahmewalze in die Wickelposition überführt wird, bevor ein mit der Laufgeschwindigkeit der Warenbahn rotierendes Schneidorgan die Warenbahn zwischen der bewickelten und der noch unbewickelten Aufnahmewalze senkrecht zur Laufrichtung durchtrennt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß durch ein Warenbahnteilstück und die noch unbewickelte Aufnahmewalze ein sich in Laufrichtung der Warenbahn und in Drehrichtung der Aufnahmewalze verengender Zwickel gebildet wird, in den der durch den Trennschnitt entstandene neue Warenbahnanfang eingeleitet und durch das einen Teil des Umfanges der noch unbewickelten Aufnahmewalze umschlingende Warenbahnteilstück gegen deren Oberfläche gepreßt wird, wobei der Antrieb dieser Aufnahmewalze einstweilen durch die kontinuierlich laufende Warenbahn erfolgt, deren neues Anfangsstück zwischen einem Zugwalzenpaar in unveränderter Geschwindigkeit gefördert und über den Zwickel der nunmehr zu bewickelnden Aufnahmewalze zugeleitet wird.1. - eine zweite Antriebswalze (7), die in einem schwenkbaren Walzenstuhl (1) gelagert und auf den Außenumfang des sich um die noch zu bewickelnde zweite Aufnahmewalze (9′) bildenden Warenbahnwickels (8′) auflegbar ist,
- eine Gruppe von Umlenkwalzen (14 bis 17), die in einem gemeinsamen Traggestell (12) gelagert sind, das seinerseits schwenkbar am Walzenstuhl (1) gelagert ist,
- zwei im Walzenstuhl (1) nebeneinander gelagerte, gegeneinander preßbare Walzen (19), von denen mindestens eine Walze angetrieben ist,
- ein im Walzenstuhl (1) unterhalb der gegeneinander preßbaren Walzen (19) rotierbar gelagertes, sich über die maximale Breite einer Warenbahn (11) erstreckendes Schneidorgan (10),
- eine Führung der Warenbahn (11) um die einzelnen Umlenkwalzen (14 bis 17) derart, daß sich das Traggestell (12) mit den Umlenkwalzen (14 bis 17) unbehindert in eine Position schwenken läßt, bei der die Warenbahn (11) die noch zu bewickelnde Aufnahmewalze (9′) über einen Teil ihres Umfanges umschlingt,
- eine Verschwenkbarkeit des Walzenstuhls (1) und des Traggestells (12) mit den Umlenkwalzen (14 bis 17) in eine Position, durch welche ein Teilstück der Warenbahn (11) und die noch zu bewickelnde Aufnahmewalze (9′) ein in Laufrichtung der Warenbahn (11) und in Umfangsrichtung dieser Aufnahmewalze (9′) einen sich verengenden Zwickel (23) bilden, dessen Öffnung in einem Bereich unterhalb einer gemeinsamen senkrechten Tangente der beiden aufeinanderpreßbaren Walzen (19) liegt.
