On peut citer, à cet égard, FR-A-2 553 063 qui montre un couvercle à bande de garantie déchirable pouvant être réutilisé de façon répétée après enlèvement de ladite bande de garantie pour l'obturation du récipient auquel il est associé ou encore FR-A-2 231 577 ou US-A-4 281 774. Dans tous ces documents le bouchage initial et les rebouchages ultérieurs du récipient par le couvercle sont effectués sur des chaînes de conditionnement automatiques ou manuellement par un enfoncement à pression du couvercle sur le récipient. Pour la première fermeture du pot 10, le couvercle 25, muni de sa bande d'inviolabilité 28, est rapporté sur le pot par vissage, le franchissement des crans 20 du pot par la bande d'inviolabilité 28 étant effectué en tirant parti d'une légère déformation élastique de ladite bande. En fin de vissage, le bord inférieur de la bande 28 est au contact du jonc 14, figure 5, et les crans 20 sont logés dans les évidements 37 de ladite bande, les faces radiales 22 des crans étant en contact de butée avec les faces radiales correspondantes, 40, limitant chacune à la fois un bossage 36 et un évidement 37 qui lui est adjacent, figure 6. Dans cette condition, et aussi longtemps que la bande d'inviolabilité 28 n'est pas séparée du couvercle, une rotation tendant à séparer le couvercle du pot est impossible par butée des faces 22 et 40 les unes contre les autres. Claims (5)
- A device for closing a container or pot with a wide opening provided with a screw lid (25) with screw threads (35) and a tear-off tamper-proof band (28) provided in the end region of the skirt (26) of the lid, to which it is connected by a peripheral line of lower resistance (30) substantially parallel to its free edge, the said tamper-proof band (28) having, on its internal face and in the proximity of its free edge, projections (36) which cooperate, in order to oppose the unscrewing of the lid, -as long as the tamper-proof band (28) has not been separated from the skirt-, with catches (20), of which there are the same number as the said projections (36) and which are provided on the lateral face of the container or pot (10), characterised in that the said projections (36) are formed by a short section of the screw threads (35) extending from the skirt (26) of the lid (25), and in that the catches (20) are provided in the proximity of the start of each screw thread (15) of the container or pot (10).
- A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the tear-off tamper-proof band (28) has a free end tab (31) facilitating its prehension, the said tab being produced from a transverse slot (32, 33) cut out of the thickness of the band and which at the same time extends short of the peripheral line of lower resistance (30) and of the height (h) of the said band (28).
- A device according to either of the preceding claims, characterised in that the tamper-proof band (28) has, on its internal face, recesses (37) to house the catches (20) of the pot (10).
- A pot suitable for use in constituting a device according to any of claims 1 to 3, having a lateral wall (11) which has screw threads on a part (11') adjacent to its opening (13), characterised in that the outer surface of the lateral wall is formed, in the proximity of the start (16) of each screw thread (15), corresponding to the catches (20) each having a substantially radial face (22) and an outer curved surface (23) which matches up with the lateral surface (11') of the pot (10).
- A screw lid (25) suitable for use in constituting a device according to any of claims 1 to 3, having a cylindrical skirt (26) of which the inner face has screw threads (35) and a tear-off tamper-proof band (28) provided in the end region of the skirt (26), to which it is linked by a peripheral line of lower resistance (30) substantially parallel to its free edge, the said tamper-proof band (28) having projections (36) on its inner face and in the proximity of its free edge, characterised in that the said projections (36) are formed by a short section of the screw threads (35) extending from the skirt (26) of the lid (25) and are adjacent to recesses (37) disposed behind them in the screw-on direction of the lid (25) onto the pot (10).
