Claims (7)

  1. Wide press for the wringing of a wiper appliance (20), which consists of a retaining plate (1) with a wet-wiping cover stretched thereover, with a squeezing channel (6), which is formed in a frame (3) between a squeezing roller (4) and contact pressure means (5) arranged thereover, for the wiper appliance and a sump (8) associated therewith in defined manner as introduction aid at the introduction side (7) of the squeezing channel (6), characterised thereby, that at least two contact pressure rollers (5), which are to be rolled at a spacing one from the other along on that surface (13) of the retaining plate (1) which lies opposite the wet-wiping cover (2), are mounted as contact pressure means on the frame (3) and that a pushing device (11), which consists of a lever-actuated plunger arrangement (12) borne at the frame (3) and is to be brought into effect through the squeezing channel (6) in direction (14), is provided on that side of the sump (8) which is remote from the squeezing channel (6).
  2. Wide press according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that a manual lever (20), which at the same time serves as carrier bracket of the entire device, is provided for the actuation of the pushing device (11).
  3. Wide press according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that a foot lever (16), which is borne at the frame (3), is provided for the actuation of the pushing device (11).
  4. Wide press according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised thereby, that the sump (8) is constructed at the same time as guide means (10) of the plunger (12), which is provided for the insertion of the wiper appliance into the squeezing channel (6), of the pushing device (11).
  5. Wide press according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised thereby, that the sump (8) consists of two sliding guides fastened at the frame (3) adjacent to the longitudinal ends (9) of the squeezing roller (4).
  6. Wide press according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised thereby, that the squeezing roller (4) comprises an elastic cover.
  7. Wide press according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised thereby, that the region of the frame (3) between the contact pressure rollers (5) above the inserted retaining plate (1) is constructed for the free guiding therethrough of a broomstick (18) fastened to the retaining plate (1).
