Abstract

2.1 Known cooling systems have separate radiators (3), compensating tanks (2) and fan shrouds (1). These parts must then all be fitted separately and, since they are mostly fitted at different points in the vehicle, hose lines must be led from the various attachment points to the internal-combustion engine. 2.2 According to the invention, the compensating tank (2) and the fan shroud (1) are produced as one piece and are constructed as a support for the radiator (3). Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlsystem für Brennkraftma­schinen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a cooling system for internal combustion engines according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Aus dem Fahrzeugbau sind Kühlsysteme für Brennkraftma­schinen bekannt, die aus Kühler, Gebläsemantel und Aus­gleichsbehälter bestehen. Dabei sind die zuvor genannten Teile alle separat voneinander gefertigt und angeordnet. Dies bedeutet, daß die Teile einzeln befestigt werden müssen und von der Brennkraftmaschine zu den verschiedenen Befestigungsstellen Schlauchverbindungen geführt werden. Neben einem hohen Produktionsaufwand ergeben sich folglich auch bei einer Wartung bzw. einem Austausch der Teile hohe Kosten.Cooling systems for internal combustion engines are known from vehicle construction, which consist of a cooler, blower jacket and expansion tank. Claims (4)

1. Kühlsystem für Brennkraftmaschinen, das zumindest einen Kühler (3), einen Gebläsemantel (1) und einen Aus­gleichsbehälter (2) aufweist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ausgleichsbehälter (2) und der Gebläsemantel (1) einstückig gefertigt sind und als Träger für den Kühler (3) ausgebildet sind.

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an geodätisch niedrigster Stelle des Trägers eine in die Umgebung mündende und mit einer Verschlußschraube (11) verschließbare Öffnung (9) angeordnet ist, die mit dem Innenraum des Ausgleichsbehäl­ters (2) und dem Innenraum des Kühlers (3) verbunden ist.
