Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fuel injection nozzle according to the preamble of the main claim. In a known injection nozzle of this type (DE-OS 29 43 745), connecting nipples for the leakage oil line are arranged laterally under the connecting piece for the fuel supply line on the nozzle holder. This version is characterized by a particularly short overall length of the nozzle holder. If the installation conditions are unfavorable, it can happen that the connection nipples for the drain line are difficult or not accessible at all.
The arrangement according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that even in cases where the installation space for the injector is limited to the side, but also upwards, the connecting nipples for the leakage oil line are easily accessible.
Advantageous further developments of the arrangement according to the main claim are possible through the measures listed in the subclaims.
The transition of the leakage oil guide from the nozzle holder into the union nut can be sealed easily and securely if the leakage oil channel running in the nozzle holder opens out at an annular shoulder of the nozzle holder formed at the transition of the connecting piece to a cylindrical section and the union nut is provided with a collar-shaped attachment which is tightened when tightened Fuel supply line engages over the cylindrical section of the nozzle holder adjoining the connecting piece and delimits a leakage oil collecting space between itself and the nozzle holder, from which a leakage oil hole in the union nut next to its threaded bore leads to the connection nipple. A sufficiently large sealing ring can be conveniently accommodated between the collar-shaped extension of the union nut and the cylindrical section of the nozzle holder encompassed by it, without the diameter of the nozzle holder having to be enlarged.
- The single figure shows an enlarged illustration of a longitudinal section through the upstream end region of an injection nozzle designed according to the invention together with the connected fuel feed line.
The injection nozzle has a
The
To connect a leakage oil line, two
