Die federnden Zungen werden im wesentlichen von einer U-förmigen Umlenkung eines horizontalen Wandteils gebildet. Der Bereich der Umlenkung ist zum großen Teil mit der vertikalen Wand verbunden. Im Bereich der Umlenkung ist zur Erzielung einer Vorspannkraft eine mit "hot spots" bezeichnete Materialanhäufung vorgesehen. Dieses schnelle Abkühlen ist dadurch gewährleistet, daß der Ring 10 weitgehend freiliegt und nur durch die relativ dünne Stegwand 3 mit dem Wäschestück 1 verbunden ist. Ein Teil, insbesondere 1/3 bis 1/4, des Kunststoffringes 10 ist völlig frei, so daß in diesem Bereich der Ring entgegen der Vorspannung aufgebogen werden kann, so daß in den Spalt 11 nicht nur sehr dünne, sondern auch relativ dicke Wäschestücke, wie der Bund von Unterhosen oder dergleichen, eingeführt werden können. Durch eine versteifende Wand 18, die der Stegwand 3 entspricht, ist die Zunge 9 ausgesteift. Claims (6)
- A clothes hanger produced from plastics material by an injection moulding process, the cross-section of which has a vertical wall (3), a horizontal top wall portion (4) and a horizontal bottom wall portion (5) and at the ends (6, 7) of which are arranged in the plane of the clothes hanger (1) clips which are each composed of a substantially rigid support portion (8) and a sprung tongue (9) which is integrally connected thereto, wherein the gap (11) between the support portion (8) and the tongue (9) is enlarged in a funnel-like configuration towards the ends of the tongue (9) and the support portion (8) for ease of insertion of an item of clothing to be clamped therein, and the tongue (9) is pressed against the support portion (8) with a prestressing which occurs upon cooling of an accumulation of material between the tongue (9) and the support portion (8), characterised in that its cross-section is of a double-T-shape and has a central vertical wall (3) and the sprung tongue (9) is adapted to be stiffened by a flange wall (18) and is connected to the support portion (8) by way of a partially exposed plastics ring (10) which forms the accumulation of material and which is interrupted at the gap (11) and which is held by the vertical wall (3) and the cross-section of which is at least 100% and preferably 200% greater than the cross-section of the top or bottom wall portion (4, 5) of the clothes hanger, wherein the thickness of the vertical wall (3) which is arranged in the central plane of said ring (10) is smaller than one fifth of the thickness of the ring (10) and wherein the vertical wall (3) and the flange wall (18) embrace the ring only to an extent of two thirds to three quarters.
- A clothes hanger according to claim 1 characterised in that the tongue (9) is formed by an edge portion which corresponds in cross-section to the bottom wall portion (5) and which connects to the plastics ring (10), and a wall (18) for reinforcing said edge portion.
- A clothes hanger according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the bottom wall portion (5) borders the support portion (8) and connects to the plastics ring (10).
- A clothes hanger according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the outside diameter of the plastics ring (10) is about twice as large as the inside diameter.
- A clothes hanger according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that it comprises polystyrene.
- A clothes hanger according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that formed at a spacing above the substantially exposed plastics ring (10) is a shoulder extension (17) which covers over the ring and which connects to a sprung tongue (16) which is formed from the top wall portion (4).
