Demgegenüber liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen schon bei niedrigem Innendruck ansprechenden überaus einfach herstellbaren Behälterverschluß mit Innendruckbegrenzer zu schaffen. Dies wird durch die im Anspruch 1 gekennzeichnete Erfindung ermöglicht. Der mit der Folie versehene und als Ventil-Federaggregat wirkende Schwammkörper kann als Endlosware hergestellt werden, aus der die für den einzelnen Behälterverschluß benötigten Partien ausgestanzt werden. Das Einsetzen der einzelnen mit der Folie versehenen Schwammpartien ist sehr einfach, der Federkörper einerseits und der Ventilkörper andererseits brauchen nicht getrennt montiert zu werden. Die Behälterverschlüsse sind also in billiger Serienfertigung erzeugbar, wobei sich insbesondere die Konstruktion nach den Ansprüchen 2 und 3 anbietet. Der gesamte Aufbau eignet sich vor allem zur Begrenzung von Innen-Gasdruck, da das entweichende Gas leicht durch den komprimierten Schwammkörper sickern kann, während eine im Behälter unter Umständen zusätzlich enthaltene Flüssigkeit weitgehend zurückgehalten wird. Ein Anliegen des Schwammkörpers ringsum schadet hierbei nicht. Liegt kein die Folie abhebender Überdruck an, so ist die Abdichtung sehr gut, da ein relativ breiter Ventilsitz zur Verfügung steht, der eine gute Anlage der Folie zur Folge hat und eine eventuell fehlerhafte Anlage an einem kleinen Ort unschädlich erscheinen läßt, da dieser Ort zumeist auf allen Seiten von dicht anliegenden Folienteilen umgeben ist. The radial length ratio between the opening (18) and the surface (19) is in the range from 1: 3.5 to 1: 4, which results in an area ratio of 1:19 to 1:24.

Claims (13)

1. Container closure with safety valve, in which a closure cap (3) has at least one pressure relief opening (12) adjoined by a sponge body (25) which is permeable to the content medium and which by its compression presses a planar valve body (26), in opposition to the pressure prevailing in the container interior, against a valve seat (17) formed on a part (14) of the closure cap (3), which cap can be placed on the container, and in which valve seat an opening (18) is disposed, characterised in that the valve body consists of a flexible film (26) which covers outer surface of the sponge body (25) and is impermeable to the content medium, and the opening (18) is surrounded in every direction by a valve seat width in contact with the film and at least equal to the largest transverse dimension of the opening (18).
2. Container closure according to Claim 1, characterised in that the sponge body (25) is disc-shaped and the film (26) covers its circular front surface and is in contact with the circular valve seat (17) at its flat region adjoining its circumference (27).
3. Container closure according to Claim 2, characterised in that the film (26) is in surrounding contact with one interior wall surface (20) of the closure cap (3).
4. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the flexible film (26) consists of polyethylene or polyamide.
5. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the sponge body (25) consists of porous plastic foam that is compressed in the direction of the film to 1/6 to 1/4 of its length in the relaxed state.
6. Container closure according to Claim 5, characterised in that the porous plastic foam is polyether foam having an average bulk density of 72 kg/m3, a pore number of 20 to 25 per cm and a compressive strength (according to ISO 3386) of 32 kPa.
7. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the opening (18) disposed in the valve seat (17) is surrounded in every direction by a valve seat width in contact with the film, which valve seat width is 1.5 times as large as the largest transverse dimension of the opening (18).
8. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the space in which the sponge body (25) is enclosed is formed by the wall of the closure cap (3), by a surrounding cylinder flange (13) projecting inwards from the wall of the cap and by a disc (14, 17) connected to the cylinder flange, which disc forms the valve seat and contains the opening (18, 28) thereof.
9. Container closure according to Claim 8, characterised in that the disc (14) is of cap-shaped design and is fitted together with the cylinder flange (13) in a snap-like manner.
10. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the valve seat comprises a grid plate, which contains several openings (28) covered by the film.
11. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the valve seat (17) is planar.
12. Container closure according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the valve seat (32, 32') is conical.
