Description

  • La présente invention est relative à une poignée extérieure montée sur une porte de véhicule automobile.
  • Les portes latérales des véhicules automobiles sont le plus souvent constituées d'un panneau extérieur et d'une doublure qui est sertie sur ledit panneau extérieur pour constituer la structure de la porte. Les portes comportent une ouverture supérieure recevant une vitre.
  • Dans sa partie extérieure, la porte comporte également un profilé métallique interposé entre le panneau extérieur et la doublure. Ce profilé est destiné à recevoir la coulisse de la vitre.
  • D'autre part, vers l'arrière de la porte et sous la ligne de vitre est montée une poignée extérieure qui est donc fixée "en pleine tôle" sur le panneau extérieur dans une forme préparée à cet effet.
  • Compte tenu de ces dispositions au-dessus de la ligne de vitre, c'est à dire de la ligne de ceinture de caisse, la poignée extérieure n'est pas toujours très accessible et surtout n'est pas toujours très visible.
  • On connaît dans le document EP-A-0 171 160 une poignée extérieure de porte de véhicule automobile munie d'une ouverture supérieure destinée à recevoir une vitre et comprenant un panneau extérieur et une doublure fixée sur ce panneau extérieur. La poignée comprend une palette extérieure s'articulant sur un boîtier fixé de manière amovible sur le panneau extérieur de la porte dans une découpe pratiquée dans ledit panneau. Le boîtier est fixé, sur le panneau extérieur, par des moyens d'accrochage et par un moyen fileté d'immobilisation.
  • L'invention a pour but de proposer un agencement tel que la poignée soit plus visible et plus accessible qu'une poignée classique et soit le plus éloignée possible de l'axe de la charnière de la porte pour que l'effort d'ouverture de la porte soit minimal.
  • Dans ce but l'invention propose une poignée extérieure montée sur une porte de véhicule automobile munie d'une ouverture supérieure destinée à recevoir une vitre et comprenant un panneau extérieur et une doublure fixée sur ledit panneau extérieure, ladite poignée extérieure étant du type comprenant une palette extérieure s'articulant sur un boîtier fixé de manière amovible sur le panneau extérieur de la porte dans une découpe pratiquée dans ce dernier, la découpe étant située derrière le coin arrière inférieur de l'ouverture du panneau extérieur et le boîtier étant fixé, sur ledit panneau extérieur, par des moyens d'accrochage et par un moyen fileté d'immobilisation , caractérisé en ce que les moyens d'accrochage sont constitués par au moins deux encoches formées sur la face interne du boîtier dont la première s'accroche sur un bord de l'ouverture de panneau extérieur et la seconde s'accroche sur le bord inférieur de ladite découpe dudit panneau.
  • D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description détaillée qui va suivre pour la compréhension de laquelle on se reportera aux dessins annexés auxquels:
    • la Fig. 1 est une vue schématique en perspective éclatée d'une porte latérale qui est équipée d'un agencement selon les enseignements de l'invention,
    • la Fig. 2 est une vue en élévation à plus grande échelle de la poignée extérieure,
    • la Fig. 3 est une vue en élévation et partielle du panneau extérieur de la porte,
    • la Fig. 4 est une vue en coupe selon la ligne 4-4- de la Fig. 2,
    • la Fig. 5 est une vue en coupe selon la ligne 5-5 de la Fig. 2;
    • la Fig. 6 est une vue en coupe selon la ligne 6-6 de la Fig, 2.
  • Ainsi qu'on peut le voir sur la Fig. 1 la porte désignée dans son ensemble par la référence 1 est constituée d'un panneau extérieur 2 et d'une doublure de porte 3 qui est sertie sur le panneau extérieur pour constituer la structure de porte.
  • Le panneau extérieur 2 et la doublure 3 comportent une ouverture supérieure respectivement 4 et 5 recevant une vitre 6 (Fig. 2).
  • Dans sa partie arrière la porte 1 comporte également un profilé métallique 7 formant entretoise entre le panneau extérieur 2 et la doublure 3. Ce profilé 7 est destiné à recevoir une coulisse 8 de la vitre 6 ( Fig. 6).
  • Par ailleurs, la porte 1 comporte, dans le coin arrière inférieur de 1 ouverture ( Fig. 1, 2) une poignée extérieure 10.
  • Cette poignée extérieure 10 présente une forme extérieure en légère saillie par rapport à la vitre 6, mais dans le plan général du panneau extérieur 2 et pour des raisons techniques et ergonomiques ladite poignée 10 est divisée en deux parties : une partie fixe ou boîtier 11 fixé sur la porte 1 et une partie mobile ou palette 12 pivotant autour d'un axe (x, x′) et sous laquelle passe la main pour commmander l'ouverture de la porte.
  • Pour la fixation de la poignée 10, le corps creux situé derrière la vitre 6 et constitué par le panneau extérieur 2, la doublure 3 et le profilé 7 est plus grand que dans une porte munie d'une poignée extérieure classique.
  • Comme on peut le voir sur la Fig. 3 le panneau extérieur 2 comporte dans la zone de fixation de la poignée 10, une première découpe 13 permettant le passage du mécanisme de commande d'une serrure associée à ladite poignée, une seconde découpe 14 à la partie inférieure de laquelle est emboîté un lécheur extérieur 15 de vitre (Fig. 4) et une découpe circulaire 16 pour la fixation de la poignée 10 comme on le verra ultérieurement.
  • Enfin, le coin arrière inférieur de l'ouverture 4 du panneau extérieur 2 forme un bord 17 où est accroché l'avant de la poignée 10 et une zone emboutie 2a permettant le passage des doigts derrière la palette 12.
  • Le boîtier 11 de la poignée extérieure 10 est formé par une pièce complexe réalisée par exemple en matière plastique injectée et est fixé sur le panneau extérieur 2 de telle manière que sa face extérieure visible affleure ledit panneau au droit du coin inférieur de la vite 6.
  • A cet effet, le boîter 11 comporte à sa partie avant et sur sa face interne, une première encoche 18 qui s'emboite sur le bord 17 du panneau 2 et, à sa partie inférieure, une seconde encoche 19 qui s'emboite sur le bord inférieur 13a de la découpe 13.
  • D'autre part, le boîtier 11 comporte à sa partie supérieure, un orifice fileté 20 dans lequel pénêtre une vis 21 qui traverse la découpe circulaire 16 prévue dans le panneau extérieur 2 et qui assure la tenue en hauteur et la tenue latérale de la poignée 10.
  • Dans le boîtier 11 est monté un axe 22 (Fig. 6) qui traverse la palette 12 et autour duquel pivote ladite palette.
  • Cette palette 12 est une pièce par exemple en matière plastique injectée et en forme de col de cygne. Pour cela, la palette 12 comporte une partie arrière 12a visible et qui forme l'arrière de la poignée 10 et une partie avant constituée par un bec 12b (Fig. 6).
  • Le bec 12b coopère avec un renvoi 23 rappelé par un ressort, non représenté, et monté pivotant sur un axe 24 perpendiculaire à l'axe 22.
  • Le pivotement de la palette 12 est limité par une butée 25 montée dans le boîtier 11.
  • Le renvoi 23 est également une pièce en matière plastique injectée et comporte à l'une de ses extrémités une tringle 26 (Fig. 5) commandant le déclenchement de la serrure de la porte.
  • Les boîtiers 11 des portes avant du véhicule sont munis d'un logement 27 destiné à recevoir un verrou, non représenté, qui commande, par l'intermédiaire d'une tringle, non représentée, parallèle à la tringle 26, la condamnation ou la décondamnation de la serrrure correspondante.
  • La poignée 10 est préassemblée chez le fournisseur et est montée par l'extérieur de la porte 1.
  • Les deux tringles sont passées à l'intérieur de la porte 1 par la découpe 13 et la partie mécanique de la poignée 1 est introduite à l'intérieur de la porte également par la découpe 13. La poignée est alors plaquée contre le panneau 2.
  • Toujours en appui contre ce panneau 2, la poignée 1 est glissée vers le bas de telle sorte que les bords 13a et 17 du panneau 2 pénêtrent respectivement dans les encoches 19 et 18 du boîtier 11.
  • Ainsi, les bords 13a et 17 assurent la butée basse de la poignée lors du montage, un maintien latéral de ladite poignée dans sa partie avant et arrière basse et une butée longitudinale vers l'arrière.
  • La vis 21 est posée et assure la tenue en hauteur et la tenue latérale haute de la poignée 10. Les tringles sont ensuite raccordées à la serrure.
  • Pour ouvrir la porte, l'utilisateur glisse ses doigts sous la palette 12 dans l'embouti 2a du panneau 2. En tirant sur la palette 12, l'utilisateur fait tourner ladite palette qui pivote autour de l'axe 22 jusque dans une position représentée en pointillés sur la Fig. 6. Le bec 12b de la palette 12 fait tourner le renvoi 23 autour de l'axe 24 et ledit renvoi commande le déclenchement de la serrure en poussant sur la tringle 26. L'utilisateur peut alors ouvrir la porte toujours en tirant sur la palette 12. Lorsque la porte est ouverte, la palette 12 relachée est rappelée par un ressort agissant sur le renvoi 23.
  • La poignée étant le plus éloignée possible de l'axe de la charnière de la porte, l'effort d'ouverture de la porte est minimal et le fait qu'elle soit située au-dessus de la ceinture de caisse la rend plus visible et plus accessible qu'une poignée classique.

Claims (1)

  1. Poignée extérieure (10) montée sur une porte (1) de véhicule automobile munie d'une ouverture supérieure (4, 5) destinée à recevoir une vitre (6) et comprenant un panneau extérieur (2) et une doublure (3) fixée sur ledit panneau extérieur, ladite poignée (10) étant du type comprenant une palette extérieure (12) s'articulant sur un boîtier (11) fixé de manière amovible sur le panneau extérieur (2) de la porte (1) dans une découpe (13) pratiquée dans ce dernier, la découpe (13) étant située derrière le coin arrière inférieur de l'ouverture (4) du panneau extérieur (2) et le boîtier (11) étant fixé, sur ledit panneau extérieur (2), par des moyens d'accrochage (13a, 17, 18, 19) et par un moyen fileté d'immobilisation (16, 20, 21), caractérisée en ce que les moyens d'accrochage sont constitués par au moins deux encoches (18, 19) formées sur la face interne du boîtier (11) dont la première (18) s'accroche sur un bord (17) de l'ouverture (4) du panneau extérieur (2) et la seconde (19) s'accroche sur le bord inférieur (13a) de la découpe (13) dudit panneau.
