Das Transportschiffchen 1 ist zu diesem Zweck fest auf einer in Magazinlängsrichtung verlaufenden Kolbenstange 7 eines nicht dargestellten Förderzylinders 6 festgelegt und an seinem rückwärtigen Ende als keilförmiges Nagelstreifenseparierorgan 12 ausgebildet, und zwar in der Weise, daß bei Rückwärtsbewegung (in Fig. 1a nach unten) des Transportschiffchens 1 aufgrund seiner asymetrischen Keilform der von einem als Bügel ausgebildeten Federelement 8 mit den anderen Nagelstreifen 5 im Magazin 11 an eine von einer mit einer Führungskante für die Nagelköpfe ausgestatteten Führungsleiste 16 bzw. deren Fortsetzung gebildete Anlagefläche 2 des Magazins 11 gedrückte Nagelstreifen 5 gegenüber den restlichen Nagelstreifen 5 in dem Magazin 11 separiert und angehoben wird. Hierbei fährt das Transportschiffchen 1 zwischen die beiden letzten Nagelstreifen 5, wie aus Fig. 1a ersichtlich ist. Die Vorschubklemme 3 ist über eine Drehachse 13 an dem Verbindungssteg des Transportschiffchens 1 mit der Kolbenstange 7 angelenkt und besteht aus einer Sperrklaue 14 und einem Griffstück 17. Die Drehachse 13 liegt dabei hinter dem Klemmpunkt 20 der Sperrklaue 14, welche gegen die Seite des separierten und zu transportierenden Nagelstreifens 5 federvorgespannt gedrückt wird. Claims (25)

  1.   2. Nail-driving tool according to claim 1, characterised in that a retaining device (4) activated during the return movement of the transport shuttle (1) is provided for the separated nail strip (5).
  3. Nail-driving tool according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the nail strip separating member (12) of the transport shuttle (1) is designed in such a manner that the nail strip (5) pressed against the bearing surface (2) is raised in order to be separated from any nail strips (5) remaining in the magazine (11) during the return movement of the transport shuttle (1).
  4. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the feed clamp (3) is mounted in such a manner relative to the transport shuttle (1) that the clamping force between the transport shuttle (1) and the feed clamp (3) becomes stronger when the nail strip (5) is pressed back or during the forward movement of the transport shuttle (1) together with the feed clamp (3), while the clamping force is released when the nail strip (5) is pressed forward or during the return movement of the transport shuttle (1) together with the feed clamp (3).
  5. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the feed clamp (3) is hinged on to an axis of rotation (13) situated to the rear of the clamping point (20) formed by a locking claw (14) of the feed clamp (3) and the nail strip (5).
  6. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the feed clamp (3) can be spring-loaded via its locking claw (14) against the nail strip (5) pressed against the bearing surface (2).
  7. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the retaining device (4) has a fixedly arranged retaining claw (15) designed to fold back resiliently during the feed of the nail strips (5) and activated during the return movement of the transport shuttle (1).
  8. Nail-driving tool according to claim 7, characterised in that the retaining claw (15) of the retaining device (4) is hinged on to an axis of rotation (19) situated to the rear of the clamping point (21) formed by the retaining claw (15) of the retaining device (4) and the nail strip (5).
  9. Nail-driving tool according to claim 7 or claim 8, characterised in that the retaining device (4) is mounted on a resilient bracket (29).
  10. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the possible path of motion of the transport shuttle (1) is a multiple of the nail diameter.
  11. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the nails (10) of the nail strips (5) are guided with their downwardly directed points bearing against a vertically adjustable bottom (9) of the fixed magazine (11).
  12. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the transport shuttle (1) which can be moved by the piston rod (7) of the conveyor cylinder (6) is guided on a guide strip (16) which simultaneously forms the stop surface (2) and rear wall of the magazine (11).
  13. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that gripping pieces (17, 18) by means of which jamming can be released manually are arranged on the transport element (3) and/or on the retaining device (4).
  14. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the conveyor cylinder (6) is designed either as a double-acting cylinder or as a single-acting cylinder with spring return.
  15. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the conveyor cylinder (6) is supplied with air from the nail-driving tool and is controlled by the latter, the conveyor cylinder (6) being aerated and vented once during each driving operation.
  16. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the separated nail strip (5) is under the pressure of the conveyor cylinder (6) or of the return spring (22) during the nail-driving operation.
  17. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the spring element (8) is designed as a spring-loaded stirrup extending essentially over the entire length of the magazine (11).
  18. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the spring element (8) is mounted to be released and folded upwards by releasing an operating stirrup (32).
  19. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 18, characterised in that the spring element (8) can be folded away together with the top cover (23) of the magazine (11).
  20. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 19, characterised in that the bottom (9) of the magazine (11) is mounted in a vertically adjustable manner.
  21. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 20, characterised in that the feed clamp (3) and/or the retaining device (4) traverse/s a longitudinal slot (26) in the guide strip (16) and/or the bearing surface (2).
  22. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 21, characterised in that the guide strip (16) has an ascending curve (27) for raising the separated nail strip (5) relative to any nail strips (5) remaining in the magazine (11) during the forward movement of the separated nail strip (5).
  23. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 22, characterised in that the nail strip separating member (12) is provided with a quick-release mechanism (33).
  24. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 23, characterised in that a pressure spring (28) for the nail heads is mounted above the guide strip (16) in the region of the inlet slot.
  25. Nail-driving tool according to one of claims 1 to 24, characterised in that the nail heads are guided on a guide edge of the guide strip (16).
