Abstract

The invention relates to a support piece for the transoms of a carton wall structure consisting of hollow sections (13, 10) having a stop surface on the post side, a mating part (2) being provided here which has a support element and at least two push-in pins (7, 7') firmly anchored to the mating part (2). In order to permit in particular the cost-effective manufacture of the support piece for the transoms, it is proposed that the support element be designed as an elongated guide rail (3) whose end area has tapped holes which project beyond the mating part (2), and that the locking of the support piece for the transoms to the post (13) be effected by a securing element (23) which leads through the tapped hole in the guide rail and, with its conical end (24), engages into the groove (25) of the post (13), the transom (16) being secured in place at a predetermined distance from the post wall by means of a screw (27). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a latch holder for a facade wall construction made of hollow profiles according to the preamble of the main claim.

A bar holder of the generic type is known from EP-A-0181285. The connecting piece forming the latch holder consists of an extruded section or a casting or an arbitrary part which has at least two socket pins and a screw channel. The connector is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profile and on the one hand can be completely sunk in the hollow profile and on the other hand pushed out of the hollow profile with the screw engaging in the screw channel. This arrangement allows the installation of hollow profiles between two fixed basic profiles from any side. The socket pins are inserted into the holes in the basic profile and fastened with pins. The profile can be fixed in the desired position using the screw. A disadvantage of this proposal is that all parts must fit exactly to one another, since larger tolerance deviations can only be bridged with difficulty or not at all. Furthermore, in order to fix the connector to the base profile, two additional precisely fitting holes must be made in it, which must be exactly aligned with the holes through which the plug bolts are guided. To make assembly difficult, the proposal is to arrange a plastic plate in the game between the connecting piece and the basic profile. This plate completely blocks the view of the plug pins to be inserted. In addition, this plastic plate forms a resilient element, so that the entire dressing is not stiff and firm , especially since the screw engaging in the screw-in channel can only be clamped. If this screw is not tight or loosens over time, especially since a plastic disc is to be placed between the screw and the profile, then the entire profile can slide back and forth.

From EP-A-0149587 a further proposal for a transom holder has become known, which differs from the previous one in that the fixing of the transom holder to the post does not take place through the pins guiding the pins, but rather by means of a guide in a threaded bore of the transom holder and with its conical end engaging in a groove of the post locking screw. A disadvantage of the last-mentioned proposal is the arrangement of the pins, which only allows hollow profiles with a long, outwardly projecting nose to be connected to one another, since in the case of a hollow profile with a short nose, there is insufficient space for the mounting of the bore receiving the pin. In addition, the projections, recesses, shoulders and bevels and cast from light metal cast bar holder either not at all or can only be made of steel at a corresponding cost and is therefore not suitable for buildings with a corresponding requirement in terms of fire resistance.

The object of the invention is to provide a transom holder for a facade wall construction which can be produced inexpensively and can be used universally for all sizes of hollow sections made of steel which have an outwardly projecting nose and can also be used for buildings with corresponding requirements with regard to fire resistance and with which also allows larger tolerance deviations to be bridged in a simple manner and by means of which simple and economical installation of the facade wall is possible.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the main claim.

The essential aspect of the proposed transom holder can be seen in the fact that the transom holder is supported on posts at at least three locations, the three locations representing the corner points of a triangle. Two of these are stop surfaces of the plug pins arranged on the adapter and the third location is the post-side end face of the guide rail arranged on the adapter. This three-point support and, in the case of the arrangement of three socket pins, four-point support ensures a torsion-resistant connection that can be subjected to tension and pressure between the transom and the post.

The linear contact of the adapter or the collar of the plug pin on the inner surface of the bolt enables the bolt holder to be adapted in a simple manner to the particular circumstances of the bolt. With a simple file stroke, e.g. a pinching point can be removed quickly and easily. This is particularly important with regard to the usual galvanizing of the hollow profiles made of steel, since the zinc coating is of different thickness and can then lead to clamping points. In addition, the bar holder made of steel is also galvanized for corrosion reasons.

For subordinate applications, the proposed bar holder is made of light metal in the form of a die-cast or injection-molded part. In high-rise construction, on the other hand, the fire resistance class according to DIN 4102 is required for the load-bearing elements, e.g. transoms and mullions including the connecting elements. This means that when a fire test is carried out on a component in accordance with DIN 4102, the temperatures in the fire chamber> 1000 degrees Celsius depending on Amount of time. These requirements for the component can only be met by using a bar holder made of steel. The bar holder made of light metal is excluded. An advantage of the proposed latch holder is that the adapter is produced in a simple manner by cutting a hollow profile and the guide rail and the plug bolts are attached to it. The guide rail is a section of a rod material into which a threaded hole is made in the respective end regions. The guide rail can be connected to the adapter either by screws or by a weld. The socket pins, which have an annular collar as a contact point in the fitting at the bolt-side end, can also be connected to the fitting by a weld seam. Alternatively, it is proposed to extend the plug pin in the direction of the bolt like a bolt and to press it into a hinge-like contour of the fitting, in such a way that the collar of the plug pin comes to rest on the end face of the fitting.

So that different seals or connection profiles can be arranged in the space between the transom end and the post wall, the socket pin has two sections with different diameters, the smaller diameter section engaging in the bore of the post. The ring surface resulting at the transition to the second section with the larger diameter forms the stop surface of the transom holder on the post wall, which corresponds to the stop surface formed by the end face of the guide rail on the post side. This latter abutment surface comes to rest on the side wall of the nose of the post.

The retractability of the bolt holder can be solved in different ways. In a first embodiment, it is proposed to arrange a projection on the post-side end of the guide rail, which protrudes at least into the wall area of the nose of the bolt. In the case of a bar with a short nose, the arrangement of a projection extending in the direction of the nose is sufficient. This projection can be part of the casting or a protruding part of a hammered pin or a screwed screw. In most cases, a drop of spot welded on is sufficient. The length of this projection is now dimensioned such that it is at most equal to or smaller than the predetermined gap between the transom and the post wall. This makes it possible to insert the transom between two fixed posts from both sides. In the case of a latch with a long nose, the gap between the guide rail and the end of the nose must be bridged and the projections in the guide rail must lie transversely to the nose. The projections attached, whether as a welding spot or as a protruding part of a pin or a screw, also have the purpose of preventing the latch holder from accidentally sliding into the latch. The space between the long nose can be filled by a guide element attached to the guide rail. In the case of the one-piece bar holder, this guide element is part of the casting and in the case of the multi-piece bar holder, the guide element is produced from a section of a hollow profile and is connected to the guide rail by means of a weld seam. The length and the arrangement of this guide element is now chosen so that the post-side end face of the guide element lies flush with that of the adapter and the bolt-side extension covers at least the second threaded hole of the guide rail. This long extension in the direction of displacement has the advantage that on the one hand the latch holder is secured against tipping in the bolt and on the other hand the long screw for fastening the bolt to the bolt holder is better guided by means of the through hole arranged in the guide element.

For pre-assembly of the transom holder in the transom and in the sense of a possibly desired full countersinking of the transom holder including the guide rail in the transom, it is proposed to provide a notch in the nose at the end of the transom into which the shaft of a screw screwed into the post-side threaded hole can be inserted and the bolt holder can be clamped in the slot by means of the screw head. The length of the slot is determined so that the part of the guide rail protruding from the transom is at most equal to or smaller than the predetermined gap between transom and post wall. The slot can also be chosen so long that the bolt holder including the guide rail can be fully retracted into the bolt. This can be advantageous for special applications, e.g. if the seal arranged in the gap is extremely thin and the distance between the posts is extremely short, so that the full recess of the bolt is required for insertion between two fixed posts. The slot provided in the nose also has the advantage that in the workshop the bar holder can be inserted into the bar cut to the finished length and clamped by means of the screwed-in screw, so that the bar holder can neither fall into the bar nor slide out of the bar. These pre-assembled bolts can then be transported to the construction site and connected to the post that has already been set up. To do this, the clamping screw is loosened again a little and, depending on the type of screw shape selected, the bolt holder is pulled out of the bolt with the help of a socket wrench and the pins of the socket bolt are inserted into the hole in the post.

In the drawing, based on some embodiments Bar holder according to the invention explained in more detail.

In Figures 1 to 3, the latch holder 1 according to the invention are shown in a side, top and front view. The embodiment chosen for these figures shows an one made of steel multi-part latch holder 1. The fitting 2 is a section of a hollow profile, on which a guide rail 3 made from a section of a rod material is arranged on the side facing away from the facade. This guide rail 3 is firmly connected to the adapter 2 by means of a weld 4. In the end regions of the elongated guide rail 3, which project in the longitudinal direction beyond the adapter 2, a threaded bore 5, 6 is arranged. In the embodiment shown here, a pin 46 lying transversely to the longitudinal axis of the guide rail 3 is driven into a corresponding bore in the end region of the guide rail 3 facing the post 13. The pin 46 protrudes on both sides beyond the width of the guide rail 3 and, as can be seen in FIG. 3, extends into the wall region of the nose 18 of the bolt 16. This arrangement prevents the bolt holder 1 from tilting the bolt 16 can accidentally slip into the latch 16. Instead of the pin 46, a threaded pin or the attachment of two corresponding spot weld drops can be provided as well. The socket pins 7, 7 'are made of rod material turned parts, with an abutting on the post-side end face of the adapter 2 collar 9, 9'. The post-side part of the socket pins 7, 7 'consists of two different diameter sections 10, 10', 11, 11 ', of which the diameter section 11, 11' engages as a pin in the corresponding holes 12 of the post 13 (Fig 4). For easier insertion of the pins 11, 11 ', these are provided with a frustoconical extension 14, 14'. The bolt-side part of the socket pin 7, 7 'has a bolt-like extension 15, 15', which is pressed into a corresponding hinge-like contour of the adapter 2.

In Figure 3, the proposed linear bridging of the bolt holder 1 for bridging tolerance deviations The inner surface of the latch 16 is clearly visible. On the one hand, sections of the collar 9, 9 'of the socket pins 7, 7' come to rest and, on the other hand, an outwardly jumping contour section 17 of the adapter 2. The guide rail 3 projects with its cross section into the nose 18 of the bolt 16, with the Contact areas corresponding game is provided. The bolt 16 shown in this figure 3 has a small hollow cross section 19 and a short nose 18.

Figure 4 shows a partial section of a facade wall construction with a bolt 16, which has a small hollow cross-section 19 and a short nose 18 and is connected to a corresponding post 13, which also has a short nose 20. This profile is chosen when a relatively thin-walled single-pane glass is to be used in the facade wall construction. The latch holder 1, which is displaceable in the latch 16 in the longitudinal direction of the latch 16, is pulled out after alignment of the latch 16 and the pins 11, 11 'of the socket pins 7, 7' are inserted into the bore 12, 12 'of the post 13. To make it easier to pull the bolt holder 1 out of the bolt 16, the inserted pin 46 can also be used in a supportive manner, either by hitting the pin with a screwdriver or using a suitable tool to grasp the protruding ends of the pin 46 in a fork-like manner and then using the tool of the bolt holder 1 can be pushed out or pulled out. The transition from the pin 11, 11 'to the biz to the collar 9, 9' extending in diameter larger section 10, 10 'forms the stop surface for the latch holder 1 on the wall surface of the post 13. Correspondingly, the post-side end face 21 of the guide rail 3 on the wall of the nose 20 of the post 13 to the plant. So that pushing the guide rail 3 past the post 13 does not cause any scratches, the relevant edge 22 of the guide rail 3 is chamfered.

The non-positive connection of the transom holder 1 to the post 13 takes place by means of a threaded pin 23 which is guided through the post-side threaded bore 5 of the guide rail 3 and which engages in a known manner with its conical end 24 in the groove 25 of the post 13. The adjustable gap 26 between the post-side end face of the bolt 16 and the wall of the post 13 is determined by a screw 27 engaging in the second threaded bore 6 of the guide rail 3. For this purpose, a bore 29 is arranged in the surface 28 of the bolt 16 facing away from the facade. A seal (not shown here) or a corresponding end profile can be arranged in the predetermined gap 26 for a flush termination of the facade.

Die Größe der Nase am Riegel 31 und dem Pfosten 13 entspricht dem Ausführungsbeispiel in dem Figuren 1 bis 4.Figures 5 to 7 correspond in principle to Figures 1, 3 and 4 only with the difference that this modified bolt holder 30 has three socket pins 7, 7 ', 7 ‴, the central axes of which form the corner points of an isosceles triangle (Fig. 6). This latch holder 30 has been developed in order to connect a latch 32, which has a large hollow cross section 33, to a post 13 which is of the same size in this example. This results in a four-point support instead of the three-point support as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4. The size of the nose on the bar 31 and the post 13 corresponds to the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 to 4.

In comparison to Fig. 3, the fitting 31 has two outwardly jumping contour sections 45, 45 ', which in addition to the sections of the collar 9, 9', 9˝ or bolts 7, 7 ', 7' on the inner surface of the bolt 32nd come to the plant.

Figures 8 to 10 also correspond in principle to Figures 1, 3 and 4 only with the difference that both the latch 34 and the post 35 have a long nose 36, 37. These profiles are selected when thick insulating glass panes with a total thickness between 20 and 26 mm are used in the facade wall construction. To fill the space of the long nose 36 of the latch 34, the latch holder 37 has a guide element 38 arranged on the guide rail 3. This element 38 is a section of a hollow profile and is firmly connected to the guide rail 3 by means of a weld seam 39, 40. So that the long screw 41, which determines the position of the bolt 34, is guided somewhat, two aligned bores 42, 43 are arranged in the guide element 38, which correspond to the bore 44 of the bolt 34.

Figures 11 to 15 correspond in principle to Figures 3 and 4 only with the difference that instead of the pin 46, a different arrangement for locking the latch holder 1 in the latch 16 was selected, with which a complete sinking of the latch holder 1 in the latch 16 is possible is. For this purpose, the bolt 16 has a notch 47 at both ends, the width of which is selected so that the shaft of a corresponding screw 48 can be inserted. The longitudinal extent of the notch 47 is adapted to the longitudinal dimensions of the bolt holder 1 in such a way that after the bolt holder 1 has been completely countersunk in the bolt 16, the shaft of the screw 48 comes to a stop at the end of the notch 47. In this state, the bolt holder 1 is clamped in the bolt 16 by means of the head part of the screw 48, so that the bolt 16 can be inserted between two fixed posts 13 without problems (FIGS. 12 and 13). This is important if the gap 26 between the bar 16 and the post wall is very small and the distance between the two posts 13 should be small, so that a sufficient inclination of the bar 16 for insertion is not possible. The clamping arrangement also has the advantage that the preassembled bolt holder 1 is not in the bolt 16 can slip and any tilt position of the bolt 16 is possible. Figures 14 and 15 show the arrangement already mentioned after inserting the pin 11, 11 'of the transom holder 1 into the bores 12 of the post 13. Instead of the threaded pin 23 as in Fig. 4, the clamping screw 48 for locking the transom holder 1 on the post 13 used. For this purpose, the clamping screw 48, like the threaded pin 23, has a conical end 24 (FIG. 14). The bolt holder 1 is fixed in the bolt 16 by means of the screw 27 in the same way as already mentioned in FIG. 4. In addition to the purposes already mentioned, the clamping screw 48 can also be used in an excellent manner for the problem-free removal of the latch holder 1 from the latch 16.
