Abstract

Es sind Infrarotstrahler mit einem Hüllrohr aus Quarzglas oder Quarzgut, dessen Länge ein Vielfaches des Querschnitts beträgt und dessen Innenraum im Querschnitt gesehen in zwei Bereiche unterteilt ist, bekannt, wobei in jedem Bereich sich ein Heizdraht oder elektrischer Verbindungsdraht in Richtung der Rohrachse ertreckt, die am einen Ende des Hüllrohres elektrisch leitend mit­ einander verbunden und am anderen Ende über Anschlußteile nach außen geführt sind. Um einen Infrarotstrahler der eingangs beschriebenen Art anzugeben, bei dem eine einfache Verbindung der in den beiden Bereichen geführten Drähte bzw. Heizleiter möglich ist, ohne daß hierzu das Hüllrohr mechanisch bearbeitet werden muß, stehen zur Bildung der zwei Bereiche von der Hüllrohr-Innenwand zwei einander zugekehrte und in Achsrichtung des Hüllrohres verlaufende Stege ab, die einen Spalt bilden.
