Claims (6)
- Electrical connection device (1), of the type comprising two plug-in connector elements (2,3) insertable into each other and each one comprising a casing (4,9) comprising plug-in members, one of the two casings (9) being carried by a support unit (13,14) with some relative mobility in at least one direction perpendicular to the plug-in direction and both casings (4,9) comprising a centering means facilitating their relative positioning at the beginning of the plugging of one connector element into the other connecting element, the casing (9) being assembled to the support unit (13,14) by guide means (9a, 13a) extending at right angles to the direction of the plugging-in of both casings, characterized in that the casing (9) is held against motion in relation to the support unit (13,14) in a plug-in position by at least one relatively flexible fastening member (16) extending through the guide means (9a,13a) and allowing the said relative mobility during the plugging-in of both casings (9,4).
- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the aforesaid fastening member (16) is a block of elastic material, for example of foam.
- Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the casing (9) is bilaterally guided by guide means (9a, 13a) in relation to the support unit (13,14) and assembled to the latter with two relatively substantial plays (J1,J2) in the direction of the aforesaid relative mobility and in the direction of guiding of the casing (9), respectively, these two directions being perpendicular and in that the flexible fastening means (16) permits the mobility of the casing (9) with respect to the support unit (13,14) in these two directions during the plugging-in of both casings (4,9).
- Device according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that each aforesaid side guide means comprises a tongue (9a) made fast to the casing (9) and engaging a groove (13a) of the aforesaid support unit, in that two preferably identical rectangular notches (9b,13b) are formed through the tongue (9a) and the groove (13a), respectively, transversely thereof substantially at the level of their respective middle portions and are confronting each other in the assembled position of the casing (9) and in that the elastic block (16) is fitted into the recess defined by both mutually confronting notches (9b,13b) so as to be slightly prestressed therein.
- Device according to claim 4, characterized in that both grooves (13a) of the guide means are formed in two longitudinal parallel parts (13), respectively, connected to each other at two of their ends by an intermediate transverse part (13c) defining together with one end portion of the casing (9) one of the two aforesaid plays.
- Device according to one of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the casing (9) is assembled to the support unit (13,14) by the guide means (9a, 13a) with a clearance (J3) in the plug-in direction which is relatively small with respect to both aforesaid plays (J1,J2) and the elastic block (16) also permits a slight angular mobility of the casing (9) with respect to the support unit (13,14).
