Definitions
- the invention relates to a door leaf with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a door leaf is known from DE 37 26 699 A1.
- the panels of such a door leaf in particular a sectional door, which are articulated in succession in the direction of movement pass through an arcuate guide region which is located between the approximately vertically directed rectilinear guide section for receiving the door leaf in the closed position and approximately horizontally extending guide section for receiving the door leaf is in the open position.
- the panels are articulated to one another by hinges, the hinge axis of which runs on the inside of the door leaf, that is to say on the side of the door leaf which faces the interior of the building space or the like to be closed with the door leaf.
- step areas are provided on the convex and concave surface areas, which are in the door leaf closed position interlock. Because of this step profile, the gap is guided in the manner of a labyrinth seal, the step areas can hinder a movement of the panels perpendicular to the plane of the closed door leaf, for example under the influence of wind, and the hinge lugs find a suitable contact surface on the step areas and can be proportioned better.
- the invention has for its object a door leaf to provide the type mentioned at the beginning, the adjacent panels of which can be connected precisely and easily under improved sealing conditions.
- the mutually facing end faces of two adjacent panels are designed in such a way that the gap formed between them is interrupted in such a way that the door leaf runs approximately in one plane, i.e. in the opening state close to the ceiling, or - which is important here - in the closed state of the door leaf in such a way that the two End faces in a partial area of the gap extending from the outside of the door leaf towards the inside of the gap in a gap section and the upper panel is supported on the respective lower panel.
- FIG. 1 The schematic side view of a sectional door according to FIG. 1 shows a door leaf designated overall by 1, which is represented in the closed position 2 by solid lines, while the dashed line representation of the door leaf or the panels approximately corresponds to the open position 3 of the door leaf below the ceiling of a door leaf reveals the room to be locked.
- the bottom panel in the closed position is designated 4 ', the one above it is designated 4 and the panel 4 above it is labeled 4 wider.
- rollers 5 are provided on these, which engage in guide rails 6, as is generally known for gates of this type.
- the guide rails are composed of an approximately vertical, straight section for receiving the door leaf in the closed position 2, an arcuate transition section and an approximately horizontally straight section for receiving the door leaf in the open position.
- a separate horizontal guide with an inclined transition piece 6 ' is provided in order to transfer the top panel to the closed position at a low lintel height, as can be seen in FIG.
- the door leaf forms an outer door leaf outer side 17 and an inner door leaf 18 directed into the interior of the room to be locked.
- connection area between two adjacent panels 4 and 4 ' is shown, namely that the left representation shows the two panels in the pivoting position, in which they are in a door leaf level, here in the door leaf closing position 2, and the right-hand illustration shows the panels in the pivoting position in which they assume their greatest pivoting angle 16 relative to one another during the transition between the door leaf closing position 2 and the door leaf opening position 3.
- the upward end face 8 of the respective lower panel 4 faces the downward end face 9 of the upper panel 4.
- the upward-facing end face 8 has a convex surface area 10 and the downward-facing end face 9 has a concave surface area 11, which areas can be formed in an arc shape, in particular in a circular arc shape, approximately with the center in the hinge axis 13.
- both the convex surface area 10 and the concave surface area 11 are each formed in the form of a polygon from a plurality of polygon sections.
- the focal points of the polygons from the respective polygon sections that is to say the intersection points of the perpendicular bisectors on the individual sections, meet at a point or point region which is located in the hinge axis 13 or close to it, or at least towards the adjacent hinge axis 13.
- a gap region 15 is formed between the convex and concave surface regions 11 and 11 of the two front sides 8 and 9, which are formed from these polygon sections 48 and 49 or 50, 51 and 52, in the door leaf closed position - shown on the left in each case - which are shown in FIGS Embodiments seen across the thickness of the panels is not designed to run consistently wide.
- the surface area 10 of the downward facing end face 9 of the upper panel 4 can also be formed rectangular, with the downwardly projecting leg extending in the outer surface of the door leaf and with its freely projecting edge tracing the gap area relative to the upwardly convex surface area 10 of the lower panel 4 'in the course of the pivoting movement of the panels against each other.
- the gap area 15 remains so narrow in every pivoting condition caused by the operation between the panels 4 and 4 'that finger intervention is not possible.
- the surface area 11 of the downward face 9 ends in a nose edge 23, while the convex surface area 10 of the upward face 8, seen from the outside of the door leaf 17, runs out into the inside of the panel in a corner edge 22.
- this width of the opening gap 21 is preferably less than 4 mm.
- gap region 15 formed between the surface regions 10 and 11 of the end faces 8 and 9 in the door leaf closing position 2 opens - apart from a seal 33 - towards the outside of the door leaf 17, the gap - better the parting plane - settles between the end sides 8 and 9 in Direction of the door leaf inside 18 seen in a step section that between a from the upward end face 8 down and thus the associated panel 4 'directed step area 19 and one of the downward end face 9 down and thus from the associated Panel 4 projecting step area 20 is formed.
- They also serve to accommodate the hinge tabs 26 and 27 of the hinges 12, the hinge axis area of which, in a particularly preferred embodiment, is accommodated to a greater or lesser extent between the end face areas 63 and 64 of the step areas 19 and 20 which are directed towards one another in the door leaf closed position.
- the downwardly projecting step area 20 on the Downward face 9 runs together with the nose edge 23 located at the mouth of the gap area 15 in the outer surface of the door leaf of the same panel 4 in a plane that is perpendicular to the broad sides of the panel and allows the panel 4 to be securely parked upright on a flat floor.
- FIG. 2 shows a first embodiment of the panels 4, in the form of a single shell 29, the broad side of which is directed towards the outside of the door leaf 17 and is designed as the outer wall 35 of the panel. Seen from the inside of the door leaf 18, the panels are "open", to the extent that the upper and lower edge regions 24, 25 run transversely to the direction of movement, which are each folded back on themselves and thus a reinforced zone for the fixing of the hinge tabs 26 and 27 of the hinge connection Form 12 using screws 36.
- the hinge connection 12 consists of a plurality of individual hinges arranged one after the other across the width of the panels in the direction of the hinge axis 13.
- the shell 29 made of thin sheet metal is stiffened by means of struts 39 which rest on the outside in the region of the hinge tabs 26 and 27 with tongue-shaped ends 40 on the edge regions 24. These tongue-shaped ends 40 are penetrated by the screws 36.
- the faces 8 (lower panel 4 ') and 9 (upper panel 4) facing each other in the door leaf closed position are composed of different sections.
- the upward-facing end face 8 is seen from the outer side 17 of the door leaf after an edge opposite the nose edge 23 of the upper panel 4, which simulates a bead, is formed by a convex surface area 10 made of a polygonal line of sections 50, 51 and 52, in the direction of the inside of the door leaf 18 follows an end region 61 which, seen further in this direction, follows in an approximately parallel manner to the inside surface of the door leaf running wall merges with a wall 63 which extends obliquely to the inside of the door leaf 18.
- the two last-mentioned walls form the step region 19 of the end face 8, which extends towards the interior of the associated panel.
- the downward facing end face 9 is formed from the door leaf outer side 17 as seen by a polygonal path from sections 48 and 49, which adjoins the nose edge 23 and forms the concave surface region 11, followed by an end side region 62 in the direction of the door leaf inner side 18 further inward in this direction, it merges into a wall running approximately parallel to the inner surface of the door leaf, to which is connected a wall 64 which runs obliquely to the inner side 18 of the door leaf.
- step area 20 of the end face 9 which extends away from the interior of the associated panel and, in the door leaf closed position shown in the left-hand illustration, in the step area 19 of the recess forming the recess engages adjacent panels.
- the two surface regions 10 and 11 of the end faces 8 and 9 enclose the gap region 15, in which the end faces are spaced apart from one another.
- the gap section 60 forms a support region with support or contact surfaces 61 and 62.
- the preferred shape of the gap section 20 or the end face areas or contact surfaces 61 and 62 is shown as flat walls which extend parallel to the hinge axis 13 and perpendicular to the panel plane or the panel broad sides thereof.
- the end face regions of the gap section can also be angled or arched in cross section or in the direction of the hinge axis and / or need not be aligned exactly perpendicular to the panel plane.
- the above-described course of the end face regions 61 and 62 of the gap region 60 is in each case arranged between the concave or convex surface regions and the walls of the step regions 19 and 20 running approximately parallel to the panel plane can also say in the end zone of the gap area to which the step areas connect.
- the gap section is part of the gap area 15 and, for the arrangement case of the gap section shown in these exemplary embodiments, one can also speak of the fact that its end face areas 61 and 62 form parts of the polygon courses of the surface areas 10 and 11, i.e. on the polygon section 50 and the polygon section, respectively 48 connect.
- the gap section can also be arranged displaced further towards the center of the surface regions 10 and 11 or be formed in the course of the polygon sections there.
- the hinge axis area of the hinge 12, in the present case the specific pin-shaped hinge axis 13 along with the rolling sections 73 encompassing it, is accommodated in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2 between the side walls 63 and 64 of the step areas 19 and 20, while the hinge tabs 26 and 27 are parallel connect intermediate webs 72 extending to the walls 63 and 64 to the rolling sections 73 and otherwise rest on the tongue-shaped ends 40 of the strut 39 and thus the edge regions 24, 25 of the shells 29 and extend in the respective panel plane of the inside of the door leaf 18.
- the pivot axis of the hinge axes 13 moves into a position from the inside of the door leaf 18 to the interior of the panel, as the figure shows.
- the distance, seen perpendicular to the panel thickness, between the hinge pivot axis 13 and the center of the gap section 60, seen in the same direction, is about a quarter the entire thickness dimension of the panels and thus the door leaf.
- the panels according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 are each designed as a double-walled body which is assembled by an outer shell 30 which has the outer wall 35 and the two end faces 8 and 9 and adjacent edge regions 24 and by a cover 42 which forms the rear wall 41.
- the cover 42 is placed with edge sections 43 reinforced by itself on the edge areas 24 of the outer shell 30 reinforced by folded-over wall sections 25, so that the hinge tabs 26 and 27 with the reinforced edge sections 43 and the reinforced edge areas 24, 25 of the outer shell 30 pass through dash-dotted lines indicated screw connections 26 are connected.
- the inside of the associated panel 4 or 4 'projecting edges of the edge portions 43 of the rear wall 41 are provided with clip edges 45 which overlap the folding areas between the edge areas 24 and their folded-back wall sections 25 in the manner of a snapper.
- the outer shell 30 and the rear wall 41 can be connected to one another before the screwing with the hinge tabs 2 and 27 in the sense of a simple pre-assembly.
- the panels can be foamed with an insulating compound 32, for example. Otherwise, the contours of the end faces 8 and 9, the hinges and the seal are of the same type and design as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from that according to FIG. 3 by a thickened panel construction in such a way that the outer shells 59 are longer in the area of the end walls 63 and 64 of the step areas 19 and 20.
- the outer shells 59 in turn include the outer wall 35 and the edge regions 24 along with their folds, as was described in connection with FIG. 3. Due to the longer side walls 63 and 64, the hinge axis 13 accordingly engages further into the interior of the panels, as can be seen in FIG. 4.
- the same relationships with regard to the shape of the surface regions 10 and 11 result from the pivoting as in the examples according to FIGS. 2 and 3, which also applies to the seal 33.
- These panels can also be foamed with an insulating compound 32.
- the arrangements and training in The area of the connection between the outer shell and the rear wall correspond to that of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, and the design of the hinge 12 differs only in this respect by longer dimensions of the intermediate webs 72, which are adapted to the end walls 63 and 64.
- the panels 4 and 4 'each have frames 47, each of which has an edge-side section of the outer wall 35, the end faces 8 and 9 and the edge regions 24 or an edge section of the rear wall 41 forming this for holding the hinge flaps 26 and 27 includes.
- the design of the end faces and the design and arrangement of the hinges 12, like that of the seal 33, correspond to the conditions as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3. Glazing or cover is inserted into the space enclosed by the respective frame 47.
- the frame 47 can consist of metal - for example sheet metal or light metal -, plastic and / or wood.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6 has a modification of that according to FIG. 5 in that heat transfer from one side of the door leaf to the other is impeded.
- the frame 47 of the panels 4 and 4 'each have a frame part 74 located on the outside of the door leaf 17 and a frame part 75 located on the inside of the door leaf 18. Both frame parts 74 and 75 are connected in the direction of the panel thickness by means of heat-insulating plastic webs 76, which are defined in a bridge-like manner between them, and are held together.
- the plastic bars are resistant to higher temperatures.
- the upward end wall of the two Frame parts 74 and 75 formed frame 47 has an insulating body 77 between these frame parts, which forms part of the polygon of the convex surface area 10 delimiting the gap area 15 and at least part of the end face area or the contact surface 61 of the gap area 60.
- the insulating body is at the same time designed as a sealing strip, so that such a sealing strip in the end region of the gap region 15 directed towards the outside of the door leaf 17 can be dispensed with.
- the mouth of the gap area 15 on the outside 18 is not designed as a replica of a bead, because such beads are not repeatedly provided for in the frame construction of the panels in question because of their extension in the direction of movement.
- each hinge flap 26 and 27 has a panel 4 or panel 18 that is parallel to the inside of the door leaf 18 4 'extending fastening area 71 and, on the other hand, obliquely towards the door leaf outer side 17, for example at an angle greater than 30 °, from the plane of the fastening area 71, which has an intermediate web 72 bent therefrom and also has a rolling section 43 which adjoins the latter and encompasses the hinge axis 13, which runs in the connection area to the intermediate web 72 onto a jacket area of the hinge axis 13 facing the door leaf outside 17.
- hinges 12 ' are used, each of which hinge tabs 26' and 27 'a parallel to the inside of the door leaf 18 of the panel 4 or 4 'to be connected in each case' extending fastening area 71 'and an intermediate web 72' which extends in the same plane or to the inside of the panel and an adjoining latter, the hinge axis 13 'encompassing rolling section 73', which with its the starting area adjoining the intermediate web runs onto a jacket area of the hinge axis facing away from the outside of the door leaf 17.
- recesses required for the pivoting movement of the hinge flaps around the hinge axis are provided in the intermediate webs of the hinge flaps corresponding to the largest pivoting angle.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 8 corresponds to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 with regard to the hinge configuration and hinge arrangement, but the configuration of the convex and concave surface regions 10 and 11 and the position of the gap section 20 are different.
- the convex surface area 10 of the upward end wall 8 of the lower panel 4 largely has the polygonal path from the sections 50, 51 and 52 and the receiving groove 34 for the seal 33.
- the concave surface area 11 of the downward face 9 of the upper panel 4 is formed from two sections 48 and 49, which directly adjoin the wall of the step area 20 of this face. These sections form almost a U-shaped groove with the wall.
- the nose edge 23 has been preserved and swiveled relative to the convex surface area 10 in a manner comparable to that in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 2.
- the gap section 20 is in the area of the step areas 19 and 20 relocated, ie the end face area or the contact surface of the gap section 20 is formed by a part 62 'of the end wall 64 of the step area 20 and engages a part area 61' of the end wall 63 of the step area 19.
- the end wall 63 is stepped for this purpose, so that the hinge area of the hinge device 12 can be accommodated in an approximately U-shaped groove, while the wall areas of the end walls 63 and 64 which lie against one another in the gap section 20 lie above the hinge axis 13, as can be seen in the figure leaves what is expressly referred to.
- FIG. 9 shows a modification of the design of the example according to FIG. 8 with a thicker panel design.
- the surface regions 10 and 11 of the end faces 8 and 9 are configured in a manner comparable to that described in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 8.
- the gap section 20 is also located in the engagement zone of the step regions 19 and 20, but with respect to the wall regions 61 ', 62' which are adjacent to one another in the gap section 20, in turn by steps of the walls of the step regions 19 and 20 lying opposite one another in the thickness direction of the panels.
- the steps 19 and 20 are accordingly designed as double stages, as can be clearly seen in FIG. 9.
- the gap section 20 is clearly above the hinge axis, which is an additional advantage for preventing finger intervention.
- the hinge 12 used in this exemplary embodiment is provided in a particularly simple embodiment with a hinge axis 13, the pivot axis of which runs in the surface of the inside of the door leaf 18, so that the hinge only partially engages between the inner portions of the end walls 63 and 64 of the step regions 19 and 20.
- a hinge design can also be used in the aforementioned designs, and conversely, hinges of the type used in the aforementioned designs can be used in this latter embodiment, the shape of the convex and concave surface areas possibly changing somewhat, so that the tracing of the gap area 15 is maintained by the nose edge 23 when the panels are pivoted relative to one another in such a way that finger intervention between the panels is prevented.
- the areas between the individual hinges on the inside of the door leaf 18 are dimensioned such that finger engagement is prevented or is possible in such a way that pivoting of the panels does not lead to a crushing of the fingers.
- Figure 10 shows the frontal or cross-sectional view in the axial direction of a double-skin panel 4, which consists of translucent or clear glass-like plastic, for example, obtained by extrusion.
- the profile has corresponding reinforcements or cavities in the connection areas of the hinge tabs and is also provided with stiffening webs running in the thickness direction when viewed over its height.
- such a panel could also have a single-shell design in the case of a correspondingly stiffened or thick-walled design.
- a large number of such translucent panels can be connected to form a door leaf, or just one or some of the panels formed in this translucent form can be switched into a series of panels of opaque construction, which gives a corresponding lighting and / or window effect.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a door leaf with the features of the preamble of
Such a door leaf is known from DE 37 26 699 A1. During the transition from the closed position to the open position and vice versa, the panels of such a door leaf, in particular a sectional door, which are articulated in succession in the direction of movement pass through an arcuate guide region which is located between the approximately vertically directed rectilinear guide section for receiving the door leaf in the closed position and approximately horizontally extending guide section for receiving the door leaf is in the open position. For this purpose, the panels are articulated to one another by hinges, the hinge axis of which runs on the inside of the door leaf, that is to say on the side of the door leaf which faces the interior of the building space or the like to be closed with the door leaf. In order to prevent that in the pivotal positions of adjacent panels when they pass through the arcuate guide area, a gap is formed between them, in which one unintentionally or with one's fingers Due to improper handling of the door leaf by hand, the mutually facing end faces of the adjacent panels are more or less arched in cross-section in cross-section, approximately with the center of the arc in the hinge axis. In this case, a gap is formed between the two opposite, arched end faces, which extends continuously between the outside and the inside of the door leaf, with the exception of separately provided, elastic sealing strips. The connection between the adjacent panels, while observing the gap provided there, is ensured by the associated hinge connections and, not least because of the seals provided, must be made in an exact assignment, which is correspondingly cumbersome when these hinge connections are fitted between the panels.
On the other hand, in this prior art, in contrast to other known designs - FR-PS 1.310.605, DE-GM 88 00 956 - a step design is provided in which step areas are provided on the convex and concave surface areas, which are in the door leaf closed position interlock.
The invention has for its object a door leaf to provide the type mentioned at the beginning, the adjacent panels of which can be connected precisely and easily under improved sealing conditions.
Starting from a door leaf with the features of the preamble of
According to the invention, the mutually facing end faces of two adjacent panels are designed in such a way that the gap formed between them is interrupted in such a way that the door leaf runs approximately in one plane, i.e. in the opening state close to the ceiling, or - which is important here - in the closed state of the door leaf in such a way that the two End faces in a partial area of the gap extending from the outside of the door leaf towards the inside of the gap in a gap section and the upper panel is supported on the respective lower panel. This means that not only can a seal be created between the panels in this gap section or contact area, but above all the position of the panels in the door leaf closing state can be precisely determined with respect to one another, so that a seal provided in the remaining gap area is dimensioned precisely because of the gap width and the like shape defined there and with regard to their elasticity can be determined in such a way that a seal can be provided with minimal wear and the lowest frictional resistance. It is particularly advantageous that adjacent panels can be arranged in a precisely defined distance from one another by the attack in the contact area of the gap section before the articulated connection between the panels through the hinge connection, in particular in shape of hinges distributed over the length extending transversely to the direction of movement is produced, the correct fitting of which is thereby made considerably easier. In addition, the panels can rest against each other in the closed state of the door leaf, practically without stressing the hinge connections between them, so that they are only stressed to the extent that alternating loads are eliminated, which can impair the durability of the hinge fastenings.

The schematic side view of a sectional door according to FIG. 1 shows a door leaf designated overall by 1, which is represented in the closed
In Figures 2 to 9, the connection area between two
In the gap area of the outside of the
While the
The downwardly projecting
The cross-sectional contours of the panels shown in FIGS. 2 to 9, as well as in the other figures, seen in the hinge axis direction, each belong to wall configurations that extend over the entire length of the panels, i.e. extend the entire door leaf width perpendicular to the direction of movement of the door leaf in this contour shape.
The features described are common to the illustrated embodiments and are known in part from the prior art mentioned at the outset. The following description of the individual exemplary embodiments takes into account their different individual construction, different hinge designs and arrangements and, above all, the design of the
Diese zungenförmigen Enden 40 werden mit von den Schrauben 36 durchgriffen.FIG. 2 shows a first embodiment of the
The faces 8 (lower panel 4 ') and 9 (upper panel 4) facing each other in the door leaf closed position are composed of different sections. The upward-facing
In the door leaf closed position, the two
In the drawing, the preferred shape of the
The hinge axis area of the
It can also be seen from FIG. 2 that in the
The panels according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 are each designed as a double-walled body which is assembled by an
The embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from that according to FIG. 3 by a thickened panel construction in such a way that the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, the
The exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6 has a modification of that according to FIG. 5 in that heat transfer from one side of the door leaf to the other is impeded. For this purpose, the
The exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7 differs from that according to FIG. 2 by the design of the hinge device or the hinges 12: the hinges according to
The embodiment according to FIG. 8 corresponds to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 with regard to the hinge configuration and hinge arrangement, but the configuration of the convex and
De Spaltabschnitt 20 liegt dabei deutlich oberhalb der Scharnierachse, was für die Verhinderung eines Fingereingriffes von zusätzlichem Vorteil ist.FIG. 9 shows a modification of the design of the example according to FIG. 8 with a thicker panel design. Here, the
The
