Die Sauger der Etikettenaufnahmeeinrichtung 10 blasen das Etikett ab und schwenken wieder in ihre ursprüngliche, d.h. waagrechte Stellung. Nach diesem Vorgang wird der Träger 8 durch den Antrieb 7 vertikal nach oben verfahren. Claims (14)

  1. Labelling device for attaching a label to an object, having a label receiving device (10) and a pressure roller (13), which are arranged on a support (8) which can be moved both in a horizontal and in a vertical direction, characterised in that the label receiving device (10) and the pressure roller (13), which can be brought into the appropriate working positions by means of separate drives (7; 17) assigned to each of them, are retained displaceably on the support (8).
  2. Labelling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the label receiving device (10) can be pivoted with respect to the support (8) about a pivoting axis (11) which is parallel to the pressure roller axis.
  3. Labelling device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the pressure roller (13) can be pivoted with respect to the support about a pivoting axis (15) which is parallel to the pressure roller axis.
  4. Labelling device according to claim 3, characterised in that a pressure roller pivot drive (17) is provided which pivots the pressure roller (13) about its pivoting axis by means of a lever rod (14, 16).
  5. Labelling device according to claim 4, characterised in that the pressure roller pivot drive (17) presses the pressure roller (13) against the object (27-29) under a permanent pressure.
  6. Labelling device according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the pressure roller (13) can be pivoted by an angle in the range between 120° and 180°.
  7. Labelling device according to one of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the lever rod has two bearing levers (14), which support the pressure roller (13) at one end in self-aligning swing bearings and are mounted at the other end in the pivoting axis (15), and a drive lever (16), which is shorter than the bearing lever (14), which is connected to the pivoting axis (15) at one end, the pivoting axis (15) being connected to the bearing levers (14) by means of torsion springs (31), and forms an acute angle with the bearing levers (14), and which is connected to the pressure roller pivot drive (17) at the other end.
  8. Labelling device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the label receiving device (10) can be driven past an adhesive-supplying station (23) arranged below its movement path.
  9. Process for attaching a label to the surface of an object, in which the label (18) is conveyed to the object and is pressed onto the object there by means of a pressure roller (13) which is moved under pressure over the surface of the stationary object, characterised in that the label is brought from a receiving position (19) by a translational movement to a release position in which the label (18) is attached to the object, and in that complete adhesion is then carried out by means of a pressure device (13, 17) which can be displaced in two opposite directions on the surface of the label.
  10. Process according to claim 8, characterised in that the pressure roller (13) is placed on the label (18), is moved over the label in one direction until it leaves the label, and is moved over the entire label in the other direction.
  11. Process according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the adhesive layer of the label (18) is not situated above the front side of the label in any stage of the process.
  12. Process according to one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that the label (18) is moved horizontally and vertically between the receiving station and the object, the movements in both directions taking place independently of one another.
  13. Process according to one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that the pressure roller (13) is moved together with the label during conveying of the label (18).
  14. Process according to one of claims 9 to 13, characterised in that the label (18) lying horizontally is received by a suction device (10), is conveyed by a vertical drive (7) and by a horizontal drive (3, 4, 5, 6) into the vicinity of the object, whereupon the suction device pivots the label about a horizontal axis by an angle of about 90°, the label (18) is brought to rest against the object, the pressure roller (13) is placed on the label and the label is clamped between it and the object, the suction device (10) releases the label and pivots away, the pressure roller (13) is moved upwards and downwards over the entire label and the label is firmly pressed on the surface of the object.
