Abstract

Die feuerfeste Stator/Rotor-Einheit für einen Verschluss am Aus­ guss eines Metallschmelze enthaltenden Gefässes (11) besteht aus einem in der Gefässwandung (14) befestigten Stator (15) und einem in diesem von der Gefässboden-Unterseite (11′) aus dreh­ baren, zum Oeffnen resp. Schliessen des Verschlusses dienenden Rotor (16). Die in das Gefäss hineinragende Einheit hat darin verlaufende querliegende Oeffnungen (17,18) und von diesen aus­ gehend eine aus dem gefäss führende Ausgussöffnung (19′). Zwi­ schen dem Rotor (16) und dem Stator (15) ist in dem gesamten innerhalb des Gefässes liegenden Bereich eine die querliegenden Oeffnungen (17,18) umgebende abdichtende zylindrische Fläche (20), während in dem in der Gefässwandung (14) liegenden Bereich ein die unterschiedlichen Wärmeasudehnungen von Stator und Rotor aufnehmendes Spiel (22) zum Verhindern eines Klemmens der Ein­ heit vorgesehen. Damit ist ein sehr einfaches, platzsparendes und mit hoher Betriebssicherheit funtionierendes Verschluss­ system geschaffen.
