Description

The invention relates to a doctor blade inking unit for printing presses with at least one chambered doctor blade which can be set on an anilox roller and which is mounted on a crossbar arranged parallel to the anilox roller by means of a carrier.

Squeegee inking systems of this type are described in the book "Technik des Flexodrucks", published by Coating Verlag Thomas & Co. In these inking units, the chambered doctor blade is attached to a crossbar by means of screw connections. To replace the doctor blade, for example when changing colors, screw connections must therefore be loosened and tightened again.

The object of the invention is to simplify and accelerate the individual or joint replacement of a plurality of chamber doctor blades arranged next to one another as well as their starting and stopping.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by applying the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

In the arrangement according to FIGS. 1 and 5, a chambered doctor blade designated 1 is provided, which interacts with an anilox roller 2. The chambered doctor blade 1 is firmly connected to an end plate 3 of a support, generally designated 4, which has two clamping strips 5. Two bolts 6, 7 are permanently attached to each terminal strip 5, the longitudinal axes of which run parallel to the longitudinal axis of the anilox roller 2.

Jeder einseitig geschlitzte Halter 10 ist mittels einer Klemmschraube 11 unverdrehbar und unverschiebbar auf der Traverse 9 festgelegt.5, a crossmember 9 is fastened between side walls 8 of the printing press, onto which two colders 10 are placed for connecting chambered doctor blades 1. Each holder 10 slotted on one side is fixed in a non-rotatable and immovable manner on the crossmember 9 by means of a clamping screw 11.

Each holder 10 has two retaining lugs 12, 13. The retaining lug 12 is provided with a lower contact surface 14 and on the side facing away from the anilox roller 2 with a stop surface 15 for the bolt 6, the bolt 6 not touching the stop surface 15 in the operating state of the chamber doctor blade. The holding projection 13 adjacent to the anilox roller 2 has, in addition to a bearing surface 16, two mutually opposite bearing surfaces 17 and 18 for the bolt 7. The contact surface 17 is, however, only dimensioned so short that the bolt 7 can be released from the holding projection 13 by lifting it. According to FIG. 2, the contact surface of the holding projection 12 can also be formed by a contact surface 20 which the end face of a set screw 19. By changing the position of the support surface 20, an individual fine adjustment of a chamber doctor blade 1 in relation to the rater roller 2 can be carried out.

A clamping element 22 in the form of a clamping cam is rotatably arranged on the crossmember 9 between the holder 10 and a securing ring 21. A hand lever 23 is attached to the tensioning element 22. The pitch of the clamping cam is chosen so that it interacts with the terminal strip 5 in a self-locking manner. In addition, a slot 24 can be provided in the clamping cam, so that the force applied by the clamping element 22 to the terminal strip 5 is determined in part by the elastic deformation of this part.

Fig. 1 shows the arrangement in the operating position, in which chamber doctor blade 1 rests on the anilox roller 2. If the chambered doctor blade 1 is to be replaced, the hand levers 23 are moved in the direction of arrow a. As a result, the clamping force acting on the terminal strips 5 is canceled. The carrier 4 with the chamber doctor 1 can now rotate slightly about the axis of the bolts 7 in the direction of arrow b until the bolts 6 come to rest against the stop surfaces 15, since the center of gravity of the chamber doctor 1 firmly connected to the carrier 4 between the Bolt 7 and the anilox roller 2 is. Here, the doctor blade 1 lifts slightly from the anilox roller. This position is also suitable for short business interruptions. Expediently, the clamping elements 22 each have a flattening 25 for defining the changing position, which is to be compared to the assigned terminal strip 5. The slight swiveling of the chambered doctor blade 1 from the anilox roller 2 due to the position of the center of gravity of the chambered doctor blade 1 can also be supported according to FIG. 3 by springs 26 which act between the cold shoulder 12 and the bolt 6.

The chambered doctor blade can be replaced in the position reached in this way. For this purpose, the doctor blade 1 with the carrier 4 is initially so moves that the bolts 7 are raised over the contact surfaces 17. The parts 1 and 4 are then moved in the direction of arrow c, so that the bolts 6 and 7 are moved away from the retaining lugs 12 and 13.

The insertion of a new chamber doctor blade takes place in the opposite way. So first the bolts 7 are guided obliquely from above between the contact surfaces 17, 18 until they come to rest on the contact surface 16. The hand levers 23 are then moved counter to the direction of arrow a. As a result, the clamping elements 22 press the bolts 6 and 7 against the contact surfaces 14 and 16 via the terminal strips 5 and thus fix the chambered doctor blade 1 in the operating position. Changing a chambered doctor blade 1 can thus be carried out in a simple manner, without loosening screw connections, by actuating the tensioning elements and unhooking the bolts 6, 7.

The rotation of the bolt 7 when the tensioning element 22 is actuated can be facilitated by using a retaining projection 27 according to FIG. 4 instead of the retaining projection 13. In this holding approach, the bearing surface 16 and the contact surfaces 17 and 18 of the holding projection 13 are combined into a single bearing shell-like curved surface 28, the radius of the curved surface 28 corresponding approximately to the radius of the bolt 7.

In the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of chamber doctor blades 1 can be arranged side by side, then two holders 10 with clamping elements 22 are assigned to each chamber doctor blade. Nevertheless, even with such an arrangement, a chamber squeegee extending over the entire length of the anilox roller can be used, since a wide chamber squeegee also carries only two clamping strips with bolts 6, 7, which are then only attached to two holders, while the other holders are excluded Operation remain. When using several narrow chamber doctor blades 1 and using a centrally arranged clamping strip, it may be sufficient if only one holder is provided per chamber doctor blade.

In order to be able to place the doctor blade 1 further away from the anilox roller 2 during longer interruptions in operation, the crossmember 9 as a whole is rotatably mounted in the side wall 8. According to FIG. 6, the crossmember 9 can be rotated via an actuating arm 29 which is firmly connected to the crossmember and on which an actuating device 31 acts via an actuating rod 30. The actuating device can be constructed from hydraulically or pneumatically actuated actuating cylinders or electromagnets or electric motors. A previous rotation of the traverse 9 also facilitates the replacement of the chamber doctor.

In order to be able to park only one of the existing plate-wide chamber doctor blades 1 far from the anilox roller when more than two holders 10 are arranged on the cross member, a cross member 32 is provided according to FIGS. 7 and 8, from a central axis 33 firmly connected to side walls 8 and to form a plurality of hollow shafts 34, 35. The hollow shafts 34, 35 are freely rotatable with each other and with respect to the axis 33. 8, each of the two hollow shafts 34, 35 is fixedly connected to an actuating arm 36 or 37, on each of which an actuating rod 38 or 39 engages an actuating device 40 or 41. Each of the two hollow shafts 34, 35 carries two brackets 10, which are only indicated schematically in FIG. 8 and which in turn are each assigned a clamping element 22. It is therefore possible, for example, to switch off only the chamber doctor blade connected to the holders 10 of the hollow shaft 35 via the actuating cylinder 41.

In order to facilitate removal of the anilox roller 2, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the traverse 9 together with the associated actuating devices 31 can be attached to plates 42 which are fastened to the side walls 8 in such a way that when a fastening element 43 is loosened a Swiveling of the traverse from the anilox roller about an axis 44 in the direction of arrow d according to FIG. 10 is possible.
