Abstract

In a method for renewing the horizontal insulation against rising damp in building walls, the procedure is to make a horizontal groove in the wall 1 to be renewed and to forcibly insert a rust-proof insulating plate 7 into this groove, whereupon the insulating plate 7 is connected to the surrounding wall area by injecting an adhesive compound 8. This method is carried out with a drive-in device which has a ram 4 which is displaceable on an adjustable base 5 and has at one of its ends a profile 3, roughly U-shaped in cross-section, for accommodating in the manner of a thrust bearing the insulating plate 7 to be driven into the wall groove.

Description

The invention relates to a method for renovating the horizontal hydro insulation of the walls of buildings according to the preamble of the claim.

The invention, which relates generally to the field of construction, is intended for subsequent execution on already existing structures and is concerned with the renovation of the hydro insulation of buildings of civil engineering including monuments, in particular of such structures made of mineral Building materials were made. Structures of this type are therefore those which require horizontal water insulation for permanent protection against the moisture rising in vertical capillaries of the structure.

In old buildings and monuments in which the existing horizontal hydro-insulation is slowly losing its functionality due to the age of the building, or in new structures in which the horizontal hydro-insulation was not carried out in the required quality, there is the technical problem that vertical or water capillaries rising diagonally upwards, which lead the water from the earth into the walls and, due to the capillary action, vertically up to a few meters Let it rise up inside the wall, depending on the saturation of the property with water and the permeability of the building material. Once the walls or walls of the building have become damp in this way, the moisture also gets into the floors and then destroys the carpentry work of the building and the installations and furnishings contained in the building. The existing moisture then also disadvantageously offers ideal conditions for the development of microorganisms, bacteria, mold and house fungi. In such rooms, the air is harmful to people's lives. Because of the unfavorable biological properties of the air, people in such rooms become ill with asthma, bronchitis, allergies, etc., diseases that cannot be completely cured.

There is therefore basically a need to solve the problem described above with its associated disadvantages.

In a known method of the generic type for draining walls (DE-A 34 34 097), a continuous cut is first made in the wall to form a gap of predetermined width and then the gap is filled with mortar. Following this, blocking plates in the form of profiled stainless steel sheets are introduced into the still moist mortar.

In a further method known from DE-A 32 31 351, a continuous parting line is first produced by sawing in the masonry to be renovated. Impregnation is applied to their cut surfaces before a barrier film and supporting elements are drawn in and then mortar layers are pressed in.

With such methods, however, it is not guaranteed that the newly created hydro insulation has the desired quality and the required durability. In particular, the second method also has a large number of labor-intensive method sections.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing the generic method for the rehabilitation of the horizontal hydro insulation of the walls of buildings in such a way that it is subsequently possible in a simple manner to create a horizontal, harmless, effective and permanent moisture insulation in buildings without the need for the building in question must be evacuated.

The method according to the invention created to achieve this object has the features listed in the single claim.

The inventive method for the rehabilitation of the horizontal hydro insulation of the walls of buildings is carried out in such a way that a stainless insulation plate in the form of a chrome-plated, corrugated or corrugated steel plate is first inserted into the joint, so that the joint is then on the opposite side of the Wall is filled or closed with a rapidly setting mass and that the insulating plate is then connected to the surrounding wall area by injecting an adhesive in the form of elastic epoxy resin on both sides of the insulating plate.

After the insulation plate has been forcibly inserted, the joint is fastened on the opposite side of the wall before the adhesive is injected Mass, in particular a mineral mass, filled up, ie closed at the point in question, so that the injection mass then entered cannot escape from the joint.

A plate made of metal, in particular a chrome-plated sheet steel plate, is advantageously used as the insulation plate, which is not only rust-free, but also ensures the desired hydro insulation in connection with the injection compound in a permanent and effective manner.

So that the insulation plate can be forcibly inserted into the wall joint, in particular pressed or hammered in, it is expediently suitably reinforced, i.e. especially ribbed or corrugated.

The method according to the invention can subsequently be carried out in a simple manner without it being necessary for the people who are in the building to have to leave this building. By using the method according to the invention, horizontal, moisture-proof insulation which is harmless to health, can be achieved in buildings.

As can be seen from the drawing, in particular from FIG. 1, a wall 1 of a building is shown, the old moisture insulation of which has had its day and which is to be renovated accordingly. For this purpose, a horizontal joint is made in the wall 1 to be renovated and a stainless insulation plate 7 is forcibly inserted into this joint. In the illustrated embodiment, the stainless insulation plate 7 consists of a chromed sheet steel plate which is corrugated for the purpose of reinforcement.

In order to be able to forcibly insert the insulation plate 7 into the horizontal joint of the wall 1 to be renovated, ie to be able to knock it in or press it in, there is a wrapping device intended. This has a base 5, which in the manner clearly shown in FIG. 1 is designed as a stand, for example in the form of a bearing block, and is horizontally and vertically adjustable. In other words, this means that the pedestal 5 in the illustrated embodiment has rollers on which it can be moved horizontally, and that it is also adjustable in height. On the pedestal 5, a plunger 4 is displaceable, which has a rod which carries at one end a cross-sectionally approximately U-shaped profile 3 for receiving the insulation plate 7 to be driven into the wall joint. On the other end of the plunger 4 in the direction of the arrow according to FIG. 1, the force required to drive in or press in the insulation plate 7 is applied, either manually or by machine.

Then when the insulation plate 7 is completely hammered into the horizontal joint of the wall 1 and is in place, i.e. fills the entire wall joint from start to finish, the wall joint on the side of the wall opposite the impact device is filled with a rapidly setting compound 9 in the manner shown in FIG. 3 and thereby closed. Any suitable mineral mass can be used as the rapidly setting mass 9.

If the joint at the end facing away from the impact device is closed in the manner described with the quick-setting compound 9, an adhesive compound 8 is injected both above and below the insulating plate 7, in order in this way to firmly connect the insulating plate to the surrounding wall area, among other things . In the illustrated embodiment, an elastic epoxy resin is used as adhesive 8, which firmly connects the insulation plate 7 to the bricks, stones and the mineral mortar of the surrounding wall area. The adhesive injection compound 8 is clear from the drawing Obviously introduced via injection bores 6 or injection valves in the desired wall area, so that it then has, for example, that extension and extension after hardening, which can be seen in cross section from FIG. 3.

Any further features of the invention, which have not been explained in detail above, can be clearly seen from the drawing and the claims.
