Abstract

The ignition device comprises a liquified gas reservoir (5) for feeding a ceramic combustion chamber (7). The ignition of the air/gas mixture is obtained by means of a spark between the electrodes (12 and 13) which is supplied by a piezoelectric generator (14). The actuating handle (16) rotates a plate (18) which acts on the control lever (25) of the valve (6) and on a closing member (29) so as to uncover an orifice (30) of the housing (2a).
