Mittels sich einerseits an der Stützleiste 4 der Gehäusewand 2.1 abstützenden und andererseits auf den Tragkörper 7 einwirkenden Andruckfedern 8 - von denen nur eine dargestellt ist - wird deren Andruckkraft über die Auflagekante 31 auf das Klingenblatt 6 übertragen. Das mit dem Mitnehmer 18 gekoppelte Klingenblatt 6 - wie ersichtlich - wird im montierten Zustand nur von der am Tragkörper angeformten Auflagekante 31 getragen. Die sich zum Klingenblatt 6 verjüngend ausgebildete Auflagekante 31 liegt im Bereich des Zahngrundes 32 am Klingenblatt 6 an und bewirkt eine gute Anlage der Anlageflächen 24 und 25 von Klingenblatt und Scherkamm unter Einwirkung der Andruckkraft der Andruckfedern 8, insbesondere im Schneidbereich der Schneidzähne 30 des Klingenblattes und der Schneidzähne 37 des Scherkammes.   2. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the seating edge (31) is formed integral with the carrier body (7).
  3. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cross-sectional profile of the seating edge (31) is of a triangular configuration.
  4. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seating edge (31), in extending in an elongation of the front side wall (34) of the carrier body (7), is provided on the upper side wall (33) thereof.
  5. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in any one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the seating edge (31) is arranged to protrude relative to the upper side wall (33) and the front side wall (34).
  6. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the seating edge (31) is both elastically and plastically deformable.
  7. The long-hair trimming device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the cutting blade (6) has a low moment of resistance in the direction of action of the pressure springs (8).
