- beim erfindungsgemäßen Verstärkungscord kann aufgrund mikroskopischer Aufnahmen der Stahldrahtoberfläche festgestellt werden, daß der gewendelte Draht entweder vollständig unverdreht oder geringfügig verdreht, wobei die Wendeldrehung um ein Vielfaches größer ist als die Verdrehung des gewendelten Drahtes, vorliegt, während der andere Draht zumindest nahezu unverdreht vorliegt,
- beim Verstärkungscord, bei dem in bekannter Weise zwei Stahldrähte miteinander verdreht sind, weisen beide Stahldrähte eine Verdrehung in sich auf, die in etwa der Verdrehung der Stahldrähte umeinander entspricht.

Sinnbildlich wurde ein topographisches Merkmal der Oberfläche (beispielsweise eine Ziehriefe) für den Wendeldraht mit 12 und für den anderen Draht mit 11 be­zeichnet. Wie sich aus Figur 4 ergibt, liegen beide Drähte ungedreht vor. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines aus zwei Stahldrähten bestehenden Verstärkungscordes für elastomere Erzeug­nisse, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eine Stahldraht als Wendel um den anderen Stahldraht gelegt wird und beide Stahldrähte zusammen gerichtet werden.1.
