Abstract

Einrichtung zur thermischen Behandlung von metallischem Schmelzgut mit einem metall­ lurgischen Gefäß zur Aufnahme des Schmelzgutes und einer getrennten oder als Bestandteil arbeitenden Gleichstrom-­ Lichtbogen-Heizvorrichtung mit mindestens einer oberhalb des Schmelzgutes angeordneten Elektrode und mit mindestens einer mit dem Schmelzgut in Kontakt stehenden Gegen­ elektrode. An der Außenhülle (11) des metallurgischen Gefäßes (10) ist mindestens ein Element (30) zur Übertragung der elektrischen Energie zu der Gegenelektrode (22) vorgesehen. Dieses Element weist eine Fläche (31) auf, die sich während des Heizvorganges auf einer Fläche (41) von einem mit der Elektroenergiequelle (20) in Verbindung stehenden Gegenelement (40) das mit mechanischen Mitteln (45) positionierbar ist, abstützt.
