Description

The present invention relates to boilers, in particular wall-hung boilers, intended for the supply of both domestic hot water in summer and winter and heating.

More specifically, the invention applies to boilers of the type comprising a single heating body carrying the temperature of the water sent, by means of a reversing valve, either in the external circuit of the heating radiators, or in a closed circuit internal to the boiler in which a coil of a domestic hot water supply circuit is immersed.

Current wall-mounted boilers of this type comprise a frame which is a simple support and mounting structure on which are attached and fixed all the elements of the various sub-assemblies and their connections.

The assembly thus consists of a relatively large number of separate parts, which complicates and makes it more expensive to produce and assemble the assembly.

It is known from documents EP-A-0 244 915 and EP-A-0 000 584 to produce the chassis of a boiler using two assembled sheets, which in no way constitutes a thermal flywheel or a one-piece chassis supporting all parts and accessories of the boiler.
Furthermore, document EP-A-0 236 235 certainly includes a one-piece base made of molded material, shaped so as to constitute a part of the envelopes of a part of the subassemblies and connecting ducts of the boiler.
However, in the boiler according to EP-A-0 236 235, all the elements generating the hot water and their accessories are not carried by the only base. On the contrary, the boiler according to EP-A-0 236 235 comprises various distinct elements each comprising a part of the organs and accessories of the boiler, which increases the complexity and the cost of manufacturing, storage and assembly of the load-bearing structure. Boiler.

The object of the invention is to reduce this cost and this complexity by producing a boiler comprising a combined chassis, that is to say incorporating a substantial number of elements, parts or parts of organs, hitherto produced separately and then reported on a support structure.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet une chaudière selon la revendication 1To this end, the invention relates to a boiler according to claim 1

A boiler comprising such a frame incorporating a large number of parts of the boiler facilitates the assembly of the latter, makes it possible to standardize the manufacture by reducing the number of parts to be produced elsewhere and to make savings in operating the boiler due to the thermal flywheel formed by the mass of the chassis.

Figures 1 and 2 are two diagrams illustrating the two operating modes of a wall-mounted boiler according to the invention equipped with a frame, symbolized by a rectangle 1, inside which are sketched the two water circuits of such a boiler.

The principle and operation of this type of boiler, intended for heating in winter and for the supply of domestic hot water in winter and summer are well known.

An air / water heat exchanger 2, disposed above a burner (not shown) is connected, on the one hand, to an orifice 3 for the return of heating water, via a pump 4, and a reversing valve. 5, and, on the other hand, to an orifice 6 for the departure of hot water for heating, via a conduit 7 communicating with an enclosure 8 itself connected to the valve 5 and in which is immersed a water / water heat exchanger 9 having two orifices 10 and 11 for cold water inlet and hot water outlet respectively.

L'enceinte 8 forme cul-de-sac puisqu'isolée par le clapet 5.FIG. 1 illustrates the operation in winter heating of the boiler, the circulation of the water taking place according to the arrows from port 3 to port 6, via members 5, 4, 2 and 7. L enclosure 8 forms a dead end since isolated by the valve 5.

In winter and summer hot water operation (Figure 2) the valve 5 is in its other position circulating the water in a closed loop, illustrated by the arrows and connecting the members 2,7,8,5 and 4, the circulation of water (heating) through ports 3 and 6 being stopped in summer, but established in winter.

The boiler according to the invention comprises a chassis arranged so as to integrate a substantial part of the water circuits symbolized in FIGS. 1 and 2.

Figures 3 to 8 show an embodiment of a chassis according to the invention.

Such a frame consists of a one-piece plate 1 of molded material, for example cast iron, of generally rectangular shape and shaped, by molding, so as to itself constitute all or part of the constituent elements of the two water circuits illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, elements which, until now, consisted of parts independent and distinct from the traditional chassis of wall-hung boilers of this type.

Thus the wall of said molded material plate 1 is shaped in 5 ′ so as to constitute the body of the reversing valve 5 with a chamber 12 communicating, on the one hand, with the orifice 3 of water return. heating, via an elbow conduit 13, and, on the other hand, with a conduit 14 communicating with the inlet orifice of a pump body 4 ′, itself communicating with a conduit 15.

On the other side of the plate open the orifice 16 for insertion of the movable part for controlling the reversing valve 5, the orifice 17 for insertion of the turbine of the pump 4 and the orifice 18 for the conduit 15.

This orifice is tapped to receive a connection connection to the exchanger 2 (not shown in Figures 3 to 8).

As for the orifice 3, it opens onto the lower edge of the plate 1 and is also tapped to receive a connection fitting to the manifold of the heating system.

The pump body 4 ′ obviously includes ears 19 for fixing the turbine and its electric drive motor.

Likewise, the plate 1 is shaped to constitute a conduit 20 connecting the orifice 6 for the start of heating water to an orifice 21 for connection to the other end of the exchanger 2, tapped like the orifice 18 and opening on the same side of the plate.

The conduit 20 also communicates, via a conduit 22, with a degassing orifice 23 accessible on the upper edge of the plate 1 and tapped to receive a degassing valve (not shown).

The conduit 20 communicates, finally, with the upper end of a cylindrical chamber 24 constituting the enclosure 8 in which will be immersed the coil of the exchanger 9. The chamber 24 is, at its lower end, open and provided with a flange 25 for fixing a flange (not shown) closing and supporting said exchanger 9 with its connection orifices 10 and 11.

At its lower part, the chamber 24 communicates (FIG. 6) by a conduit 26 with a second chamber 27 of the valve body 5 ′.

For reasons of clarity, parts 5 ′ and 26 have not been shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.

The face where the orifices 18 and 21 open is opposite the wall for fixing the boiler and receives the added elements, namely, the valve 5, the pump 4 and its motor, the exchanger 2 and its burner, the assembly is positioned and fixed using two horizontal ribs 29 (FIG. 3) and appropriate holes 30.

D'autres trous (31) en partie haute de la plaque 1 permettent un éventuel montage soit d'un coupe-tirage (non représenté) soit d'un système pour chaudière étanche dite à ventouse (également non représenté).Other holes (31) in the upper part of the plate 1 allow possible mounting either of a draft hood (not shown) or of a sealed boiler system called a suction cup (also not shown).

Other holes are provided in the plate for fixing a cover (not shown) enveloping the front face of the boiler but also the rear part (between plate 1 and the fixing wall of the boiler).

Between the plate and said wall there is indeed a necessary gap for the chamber 24 as well as for the expansion vessel fitted to any boiler and which will be placed behind the plate 1 above the chamber 24.

It is of course possible to provide a wing 28 of sufficient height to mask said gap between plate and wall.

All of the parts referenced 12 to 32 are of course produced in a single molding operation with machining in recovery at the places requiring a relatively precise adjustment.

The plate 1 is fixed to the wall preferably by means of a support plate made of sheet metal sealed in the wall and fixed to the plate 1 by means of suitable holes 32 in the upper part of the plate, in the wing. 28 (Figures 4.7).

It is obvious that a boiler comprising such a chassis makes it possible to very substantially reduce the number of parts added to the plate 1 to constitute the boiler. Indeed, previously, the functions performed by the molded parts of the plate referenced 12 to 27 were obtained by as many separate parts attached to the support structure of the boiler.

The invention therefore makes it possible first of all to reduce the number of different parts to be produced separately, to store and to assemble to manufacture a wall-mounted boiler.

Manufacturing is therefore easier to manage thanks to better standardization. It is also less costly in terms of time and labor.

Such a chassis also facilitates after-sales service because all the added elements are on the front of the plate and easily accessible after removing the protective cover.

It also allows operating savings thanks to the thermal flywheel formed by the mass of the chassis. The exchanger, especially in winter, makes it possible in particular to raise the level of the temperature of the drawing water.

Such an integrated structure also has a phonic advantage because the pump is embedded in the block of molded material so that neither vibrations nor resonances occur, unlike most known wall-mounted boilers.

Furthermore, the integration into the chassis of the pipes 13,14,15,20,22,26 very significantly reduces the number of fittings and therefore the risk of leakage.
