Definitions
- the invention relates to a transfer press according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the change of gripping tools and the gripper rail parts carrying them takes place with the tool change by means of the press and sliding tables that can be moved out of it.
- the exchangeable gripper rail parts can be uncoupled from or coupled to the gripper rail parts remaining in the press.
- a coupling device has been described in DE 35 01 946 C2, said coupling device comprising connecting means interacting in a form-fitting manner in the coupling position.
- the end faces of the gripper rail parts have surfaces which are pressed against one another in the coupling position by means of a rotary tensioner.
- the surfaces are conical and counter-conical surfaces.
- the rotary tensioner is introduced into an end part of a gripper rail part and has a tension rod which is rotatable and is movable in its axial extent. The tension rod can be moved out of the end part of the gripper rail part into the end part of the gripper rail part to be coupled, and after rotation and withdrawal with the application of force with the hammer-like shaped end of the rod can be fixed behind a clamping surface.
- the parting line is due to the movement of the instep rod when uncoupling by pushing apart the gripper rail parts, to close when coupling by pulling the gripper rail parts.
- the object of the invention is to enable coupling-free coupling and uncoupling of gripper rail parts. This object is achieved in a transfer press according to the preamble of claim 1 by the features specified in its characteristics.

- These can consist of lifting cylinders and serve the 3 coupling and uncoupling of the gripper rail parts 8, 9, 10, 41, 42, 43 instead of the sliding table by lifting and lowering.
- a commercially available power tensioning element 21 which is available under the name of rotary tensioner, is inserted in the end part of the exchangeable gripper rail part 8.
- the rotary tensioner 21 generates the required movements for a tensioning rod 22.
- the latter is advanced in its axial direction from the gripper rail part 8 beyond the separation point 16 into the gripper rail part 7, then rotated and partially withdrawn in order to rest the hammer-head-like rod end on a clamping surface 26 of the gripper rail part 7.
- the force of the gripper rail parts 7, 8; 8, 9; 9, 10 and in FIG. 7 the gripper rail parts 41, 42; 42, 43 etc. pressed together, clamped together.

- the flange surface 37 'on the interchangeable gripper rail part 8 protrudes from the flange surface 37 ′′′ , which in this exemplary embodiment is set back from the main surface portion of the end face, further out of the end face. This creates a distance between the gripper rail parts 7, 8 when uncoupling by lifting the gripper rail part 8 in direction 5 or when moving out in direction 15 of the sliding table 3; 8, 9; 9, 10, etc.
- the width of the flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ′′′, 37', 37 ′′′ can be related to, for example, the length of the lifting and lowering movement.
- the width as a measure, measured in the direction 5 of this movement, can thus correspond approximately to the length of this movement.
- the required minimum width is to be calculated from the permissible surface pressure. The slight lifting and lowering movement of the sliding table 3 from its locking on the press table is sufficient for uncoupling or coupling, if a calculated minimum width can be maintained.
- the position number 15 refers to the traversing movement of the sliding table 3, which is 90 degrees to the direction 5 of the lifting and lowering of the sliding table 3 or the lifting cylinder 14. If the movement of the sliding table 3 is used for coupling and uncoupling, the flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ′′′, 37' and 37 ′′′ can also be introduced in a vertical arrangement in the end faces.

- the protruding flange surface 34 ′′′ on the press-fixed gripper rail parts 7, 9 forms a stop surface 40, against which the stop surface 39 can be placed on the exchangeable gripper rail part 8, 10 when coupling.
- these stop surfaces 39, 40 serve to prevent the interchangeable lowering of the interchangeable gripper rail parts 8, 10.
- Fig. 4 shows an arrangement of three flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ⁇ , 34 ′′′ in the end face of the gripper rail part 7, which over the width, with imaginable rotation of the gripper rail parts 7, 8, 9, 10, 41, 42, 43 around 90 degrees around its longitudinal axis according to the movement of the carriage 3, then over the height of the gripper rail part 7 or all gripper rail parts 7, 8, 9, 10, 41, 42, 43.
- the flange surface 34 ' which runs essentially centrally to the flange surfaces 34', 34 ′′′ in the edge regions of the end face is interrupted in its length by the range of movement of the clamping bolt 22.
- the three-way arrangement of the flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ⁇ , 34 ′′′ and 37', 37 ⁇ , 37 ′′′ is also from FIGS. 5 and 6 recognizable.
- the figures 5 and 6 show the different projecting of the flange surfaces 34, 37 from the end faces of the gripper rail parts 7 and 8.
- the replaceable gripper rail part 8 must be guided, coupled or uncoupled with the flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ⁇ , 34 ′′′ of the press-fixed, remaining in the press, gripper rail part 7 in a (lateral) displacement movement.

- the second flange surface 37 ⁇ in turn protrudes further from the end surface than the third, bottom flange surface 37′′′ here.
- the complementary flange surfaces 34 ', 34 ⁇ , 34 ′′′ on the press-side gripper rail part 7 therefore protrude in an interchanged manner from the end face.
- the free space 45 between the flange surfaces 34, 37 is to be made slightly larger than the width of the flange surfaces 34, 37.
- the chamfers 36, 38 on the flange surfaces 34, 37 are to be designed accordingly in length and inclined position.
- the dome-uncoupling movement for the gripper rail parts 7, 8, 9, 10, 41, 42, 43 takes place for all exemplary embodiments in one plane, which is shown in more detail in FIG. 9 and was positioned there with 46.
- Fig. 7 shows a transfer press 1 with press stands 2 and movable sliding table 3.
- the pair of gripper rails are also divided into press-side gripper rail parts 41 and 43 and interchangeable gripper rail parts 42.
- the coupling and uncoupling of these in the area of the separation point 16 takes place via the lock box 12 or through the lock box 12, which can be carried out in the direction of 35.
- This lifting-lowering movement is greater or at least the same size as the additive movement from the required dome-uncoupling movement and the lifting-lowering movement of the sliding table 3 for moving it out.
- the required lifting stroke of the gripper rail parts 41, 43 is shown by dash-dotted lines 41 ', 43'.
- FIG. 8 shows the configuration of the end faces of the gripper rail parts 41, 42 for the application described for FIG. 7.

The change of gripping tools and the gripper rail parts carrying them takes place with the tool change by means of the press and sliding tables that can be moved out of it. The exchangeable gripper rail parts can be uncoupled from or coupled to the gripper rail parts remaining in the press.
A coupling device has been described in
Moving the gripper rail part out of the press and moving the gripper rail part into the press requires a joint between the end faces of the gripper rail parts to be coupled together. The parting line is due to the movement of the instep rod when uncoupling by pushing apart the gripper rail parts, to close when coupling by pulling the gripper rail parts.
In the device according to
The object of the invention is to enable coupling-free coupling and uncoupling of gripper rail parts. This object is achieved in a transfer press according to the preamble of
The formation of the end faces on the end parts of the gripper rail parts according to the invention significantly reduces the changing time of the gripper rail parts. The machining of the end faces is simplified and therefore less expensive. The number of movements and the components for coupling and uncoupling is reduced. No separating movement and therefore no movement of the gripper rail parts in their axial extension is required. The control of the locking means on the press and sliding table can be simplified. The surface areas of the flange surfaces can be significantly increased, and the surface pressure can consequently be reduced. In individual cases, the lifting-lowering movement for moving the flange surfaces in the dome-uncoupling plane can be less than the height, or possibly the width of the gripper rail parts. The dome-uncoupling movement of the exchangeable gripper rail part can take place with the movement of the sliding table.

A sliding table 3 has been moved into the working area of the
There are two gripper rails extending over the length of the transfer movement of the workpieces. The divisible gripper rails consist of press-side
According to FIG. 1, the lifting-lowering movement of the sliding table 3 in the
In FIG. 2, a commercially available
The protruding
Fig. 4 shows an arrangement of three
The figures 5 and 6 show the different projecting of the flange surfaces 34, 37 from the end faces of the
Since the lifting-lowering movement in
In Figs. 1 to 6 it was assumed that the dome-uncoupling movement takes place by raising and lowering the sliding table 3 or by means of the movement of the lifting
Fig. 7 shows a
34‴.FIG. 8 shows the configuration of the end faces of the
The flange surfaces 37 ', 37˝, 37 ‴ on the interchangeable
