- an annular cover element 31 surrounding the piston 6 is fastened in the cylinder 7.
- the cover element 31 is designed as a catch shell which is open towards the guide part 6a and which has a central opening 29 surrounding the piston section 6c, an inner wall 36 delimiting it and a baffle wall 32 positioned transversely to the stroke direction of the piston 6, and a baffle wall running from the latter against the guide part 6a ,
- the inner wall 36 has an outwardly projecting part facing the guide part 6a Edge section 43 which, together with the baffle wall 32, forms a channel-like shield surrounding the piston section 6c, which in particular collects the leakage oil drops thrown off by the elevations 26, 26a in the upper half of the cylinder 7 and leads them downward. This prevents these leakage oil drops from falling onto the piston section 6c, from which they could wet the cylinder section 7b and / or the working part 6b over time.
- the inner wall 36 can be designed in the manner of a crimping of the inner edge of the baffle wall 32.
- An embodiment is also possible in which the inner wall 36 extends only over part, e.g. B. the upper half, the opening 29 extends.
- the cover element 31 which can be formed in one or more parts, shields the cylinder section 7b to be kept dry from the leakage oil escaping between the guide part 6a and the lubricated cylinder section 7a or possibly thrown off by the elevations 26, 26a. Correspondingly, even in the event of a defect on the oil scraper rings 20, carryover of oil particles into the cylinder section 7b is reliably avoided.

- the annular space 42 is provided with the leakage discharge opening 22 and is designed such that it can accommodate an end section of the wall section 38 of the working part 6b in the bottom dead center position 6 'of the piston 6, the movement ranges of the guiding part 6a and the working part 6b being in a corresponding length section C of cylinder 7 overlap.
- the piston 6 and the cylinder 7 according to FIG. 3 can therefore, compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, each be designed with a correspondingly shorter overall length.
- the outer wall 33 of the cover element 31 is designed with an essentially cylindrical wall part, the outer diameter of which is smaller than the inner diameter of the wall part 38 of the working part 6b.
- the outer wall 33 extends as an inner shield of the cylinder section 7b into the annular space 42 and against the leakage discharge opening 22.
- the outer wall 33 in the area of the leakage discharge opening 22 can be provided with an edge portion 35 projecting over its circumference, the outer diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the cylinder section 7b, so that wetting of this cylinder section 7b is prevented with certainty.
- the cover element 31 can, as indicated in FIG. 3, be fastened to corresponding end faces of the cylinder 7 by screws 39 and / or a corresponding holder 44 which is permeable to the leak oil, distributed over the edge part 35 in the circumferential direction.
- the holder 44 can also be formed by screws or corresponding spacers offset in the circumferential direction, or, as shown, by a cylindrical sieve part 45 surrounding the piston 6.
- the working part 6b is designed with a smaller diameter than the guide part 6a.
- the end section of the guide part 6a facing the working part 6b can, as shown, be designed with an annular recess 50 which is open towards the working part 6b and which extends outwards through an annular piston section 51 of the guide part 6a and inwards through the piston section connecting the guide part 6a to the working part 6b 6c is limited.
- the cylinder area surrounding the dry cylinder section 7b is designed with an annular space 52 which is open towards the guide part 6a and adjoins the leakage discharge space 21 and is delimited by an outer wall part 53 and a sleeve-like inner cylinder part 54, on which a part of the part with the working part 6b cooperating cylindrical surface is formed.
- the recess 50 and the annular space 52 are each designed with such a depth T 1 or T 2 that they can each receive an end portion of the cylinder section 54 or the piston section 51 in the top dead center position of the piston 6 shown in FIG. 4, the Overlap ranges of movement of the guide part 6a and the working part 6b in a corresponding length section E.
- the piston 6 and the cylinder 7 can thus be made with a shorter overall length than in the embodiment according to FIG. 1.
- a cover element 31a is arranged in the annular space 52, which is designed with a substantially cylindrical inner wall 36a, which surrounds the end section of the cylinder section 54 as an outer shield and which is in the top dead center position of the piston 6 as an inner shield the piston section 51 extends into the recess 50 of the guide part 6a. Accordingly, the dry cylinder section 7b against that of the piston section 51 in the top dead center position Guided part 6a is shielded from leaking oil, which is collected in particular in the upper part of the cylinder 7, which is not visible in FIG. 4, through the inner wall 36a and the baffle wall 32, drained downward and discharged via the outer wall 33a against the leakage discharge opening 22.
- the outer wall 33a can also be cylindrical or, as shown in FIG.
- the cover element 31a can be placed with the inner wall 36a directly or, for example, via a support ring (not shown) on the cylinder part 54 or, as shown, can be fastened thereon by means of rib-like spacers 55, a leakage gas emerging from the cylinder section 7b being released between the cylinder part 54 and the inner wall 36a flowable annular gap is formed.
- the cover element 31a can also, similarly to the embodiment according to FIG. 3, be fastened in the annular space 52 by means of corresponding screws 39 or holding parts which are not shown on the end face.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a plunger compressor with at least one piston which can be moved back and forth in a cylinder via a crankshaft and a connecting rod, which piston has a guide part which faces the crank chamber and is guided in a lubricated cylinder section and a working part which is offset therefrom and which interacts with a dry cylinder section and which functions as Dry-running gas sealing part, in particular as a labyrinth piston, is formed and delimits a compression space in the cylinder, oil-wiping means being provided in the movement area of the guide part and in the cylinder, outside the movement area of the working part, a leak discharge opening connected to a low pressure space for discharging leakage gas emerging from the compression space and is provided from leakage oil emerging from the crankcase.
In a plunger compressor of the type mentioned which is known from Japanese patent application 257 114/86 (P.5994), a safe, common separation of the leak gas and the leak oil reaching the leak discharge space along the cylinder wall is guaranteed, so that the known plunger compressor for oil-free compression of a Gases is suitable. In the known arrangement, however, there is the possibility that, especially in the case of a longer operating time, for example due to a defective oil scraper ring, leak oil on the dry cylinder section can be thrown off, so that the security required for trouble-free operation of the compressor against the carryover of lubricating oil into the compression space can be impaired.
The invention has for its object to provide a submersible piston compressor which is improved in particular in this regard and in which oil particles thrown off from the guide part and from the lubricated cylinder section are reliably detected and reliably kept away from the section of the cylinder surface assigned to the working part.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that in the cylinder there is at least one annular cover element arranged fixedly between the movement areas of the guide part and the work part, surrounding the piston and shielding the dry cylinder section against the guide part, for collecting thrown off leakage oil, which cover element counteracts a the leakage discharge opening has a drip part for dispensing the received leak oil.
The cover element provided according to the invention enables a compact design of the plunger compressor with a minimal distance between the relevant movement ranges limited by the top dead center position of the guide part and the bottom dead center position of the working part. In particular, oil particles are detected and kept away from the dry cylinder section, which due to the maximum deceleration or acceleration occurring during the respective reversal of the piston movement are thrown off in the top dead center position of the piston from the guide part into the cylinder section containing the leakage discharge opening.
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

- FIG. 2 shows a detail from FIG. 1 in a larger representation;
- 3 and 4 details of corresponding plunger compressors, each in a larger representation and each in a modified embodiment compared to the representation of FIG. 1.
The plunger compressor according to FIG. 1 has a
The
The
Between the
The
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, the
Between the upper dead center position of the
The
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the working
As can be seen from FIG. 3, the
The
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the working
