Claims (4)

1. Verfahren zur Konstruktion eines Ofens mit offenen Kammern zum Ausbacken von Kohlenstoffblöcken, welcher Ofen aus einer Mehrzahl von in Reihe auf einem oder zwei parallelen Feldern angeordneten Kammern zusammengesetzt ist, wobei jede Kammer in einem unabhängigen Schacht aus Beton enthalten ist, der aus einer Sohle (12) und Seitenwänden (11) aus Beton gebildet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man auf der Außenfläche jeder Seitenwand (11) eine Mehrzahl von vertikalen Verstärkungspfeilern (14) anordnet, die man unter Vorspannung in der Vertikalrichtung setzt.
2. Verfahren nach dem Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorspannung mittels wenigstens eines Stahlkabels (15) zur Einwirkung gebracht wird, das an den beiden Enden an einer Metallplatte (17) befestigt ist, die in Anlage an die Basis und die Oberseite jedes Verstärkungspfeilers (14) kommt.

Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Verschlußeinrichtung verwendet, die in das Innere der Trennwand eingesetzt ist, deren Arbeitslöcher (10) beseitigt sind, und, daß man auf den oberen Teil der Mauern (9) eine regulierbare Kraft im Bereich von 0 bis 200 kN einwirken läßt.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Setzen der oberen Teile der Quermauern unter Spannung mittels wenigstens einer Metallspannstange (21) erfolgt, die horizontal angeordnet und einstellbarer Spannung ausgesetzt wird.
