Description
The invention relates to a water pressure-tight lightweight door that can be opened for lockable ship's spaces according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
It is known that there is a need for ships to partition off ship rooms in order to prevent water penetration into the entire hull if the ship's outer skin is damaged locally. In the case of larger ships, there are no weight problems with regard to the necessary doors, which allow access to the individual partitioned rooms. The situation is different for smaller ships, especially for yachts, where the usual doors with a considerable weight cannot be used.
From GB-A-2161430 a ship door is known in which the door leaf has a profile rail all around, which interacts with a profile rail on the door frame. In this case, a seal which can be inflated by means of a pressure medium is provided in the profile rail on the door frame and, when the door is closed, lies sealingly against the profile on the door leaf. The pressure source is installed outside the door arrangement and is connected to the seal arranged in the profile rail on the door frame via corresponding lines.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a pressure-tight, lightweight door that can be opened to one side, with which, on the one hand, partitioning is ensured and, on the other hand, use in smaller ships or yachts is also possible due to the reduced weight.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the features in the characterizing part of claim 1.
Formations preferably result from the features in the subclaims.
The lightweight door according to the invention is distinguished, on the one hand, by a special bolt assembly which, despite the low overall weight of the door, ensures a perfect seal between the door leaf and the door frame that withstands the water pressure. For this purpose, one or more seals are provided within the bolt assembly, which are directed towards the door frame by means of an inflatable tube between the seal and the rear part of the bolt assembly are slidable so that there is a seal. The inflatable hose or hoses arranged behind the seal are fed from a commercially available CO₂ cartridge or alternatively from a mechanical pump arranged in the castle. It is essential for the invention that the lock, as detailed in the subclaims, is constructed, ie in this lock there is also the CO₂ cartridge and through a suitably trained function switch different states can be set, including the inflation of Hose triggered after piercing the cover of the CO₂ cartridge.
- 1. Wahlhebel 8 auf D stellen
- 2. Klinke 52 kräftig nach oben schwenken
- 3.
Klinke 52 in Normalstellung zurückführen - 4. Wahlhebel 8 auf A stellen
- 1. Set selector lever 8 to D.
- 2.
Swing pawl 52 vigorously upwards - 3. Return the
pawl 52 to the normal position - 4. Set
selector lever 8 to A.
When the
Since CO₂ gas slowly diffuses through rubber-elastic materials, pumping is required after 12-14 hours. (The pointer of the pressure indicator moves to the border of the green field). The following procedure is used for this purpose. Set
When the door is open, the
