- It then operates the capstan 9 to clamp the machine in position against the orifice 1;
- After having connected the various pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical supply hoses to a control cabinet, it starts the brush as well as the blowing and aspiration by the hose 24;
- The machine then performs one or more cleaning cycles (penetration and removal of the brush head 13 in the tapped hole) by automatic operation of the cylinder 22 from the control cabinet;
- the machine having returned to its initial position, it is de-indexed (withdrawal of finger 17), then it is indexed (insertion of finger 17) in the adjacent hole, and the cleaning cycle is restarted for the next hole.

Claims (6)

1. Une machine (3) de nettoyage de trous taraudés (2) répartis à la périphérie d'une ouverture (1), notamment les trous taraudés servant au maintien par boulonnage périphérique des obturateurs d'orifices tels que les trous de point et les trous d'oeil des générateurs de vapeur de centrales nucléaires, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend :
- des moyens (4) de centrage et de bridage sur ladite ouverture, permettant d'assurer le positionnement de la machine sur l'axe (12) de l'ouverture et son maintien par appui sur la paroi (10) de cette ouverture,
- des moyens de brossage (13), disposés à une distance radiale fixe de l'axe de l'ouverture et mobiles :
. en rotation autour de l'axe (12) de l'ouverture de manière que leur trajectoire décrive un cercle venant intersecter les axes des différents trous taraudés répartis périphériquement autour de l'orifice, afin de positionner sélectivement ces moyens de brossage au-dessus de chacun des trous taraudés, et
. en translation axiale selon un axe confondu avec l'axe d'un trou taraudé, de manière à permettre l'enfoncement de ces moyens de brossage dans le trou taraudé et leur retrait hors du trou taraudé.
