Description

Ein derartiges Anzeigeinstrument ist aus der DE-A-32 01 571 bekannt. Durch diese Gestaltung kann der Zeiger nach der Montage der Kappe auf einfache Weise in diese eingesetzt werden. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Anzeigeinstrument der eingangs genannten Art derart zu gestalten, daß sein Zeiger besonders rasch montierbar und gegen einen anderen austauschbar ist sowie eine hohe Stabilität besitzt.The invention has for its object to design a display instrument of the type mentioned in such a way that its pointer is particularly quick to assemble and interchangeable with another and has a high stability.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der Zeiger im wesentlichen über seine gesamte Länge in eine Rinne aus lichtundurchlässigem, zum Zeiger hin reflektierenden Material eingesetzt ist. Eine solche Rinne sorgt für eine sehr große Stabilität des Zeigers, da sie nicht lichtdurchlässig sein muß und deshalb aus einem Material bestehen kann, welches ausschließlich im Hinblick auf eine hohe Festigkeit auswählbar ist. Diese hohe Stabilität ist vor allem für erschütterungsstarke Fahrzeuge, insbesondere Dieselfahrzeuge, vorteilhaft. Hiervon abgesehen sorgt die Rinne dafür, daß das Licht aus dem Zeiger nur in Richtung des Betrachters austreten kann, so daß keine Lichtverluste zur Seite hin auftreten und der Zeiger auch bei Verwendung einer relativ schwachen Lichtquelle ausreichend leuchtet.This object is achieved in that the pointer is inserted over its entire length in a channel made of opaque material reflecting towards the pointer. - An indicator instrument with a transparent, light-transmitting pointer (5) which is fastened on to a cap (2) of a pointer shaft (1) in such a way that the pointer (5) is inserted into the cap (2) from the end face of the cap and is fastened within the latter by means of a clip attachment, characterised in that the pointer (5) is inserted over substantially its entire length into a channel (4) made of a material which is opaque to light and which reflects light towards the pointer (5).
- An indicator instrument according to claim 1, characterised in that the channel (4) is constructed as one piece with the cap (2).
- An indicator instrument according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the channel (4) can be inserted in a slot (3) in the end face of the cap (2).
- An indicator instrument according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pointer (5) has at least one catch projection (6) which can be guided through an opening (7) in the channel (4) and locked with a locking surface (8) of the cap (2).
