Description

The invention relates to a device for treating the inner surface of pipes with liquids, consisting of a treatment tank with supports for the pipes, nozzles for connecting one end of the pipes and supply lines for liquids to the nozzles.

The inner surface of pipes must in some cases be filled with liquids, e.g. Pickling liquid. The treatment should be carried out as evenly as possible on the entire inner surface. The treatment liquid must be completely removed after the treatment.

From DE-OS 3005820 a treatment of the inner surface of pipes is known, in which each pipe is pushed in a separate outer container with one end onto a conical holding device and then a conical nozzle is inserted into the other end. The liquid flows through the nozzle into the pipe, exits at the lower end and flows between the outside of the pipe and the inside of the outer container to an outlet in the outer container. The loading of the outer container with the pipes and their sealing are complex and the parts of the pipes covered by the conical nozzle and conical holding device are not or only poorly pickled.

The invention has for its object to enable a completely uniform treatment of the inner surface with the least possible effort and avoiding environmental pollution and damage to the staff.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that an upward-folding lid (4) is arranged in the front longitudinal wall of the treatment container (1) above the supports (2) for the tubes (3), one in the upper part of the treatment container (1) Exhaust device (5) extending over the length of the treatment container is arranged and nozzles are arranged on the inside on a side wall of the treatment container (1) for inserting one end of the tubes (3).

The treatment tank consists of a tub to collect the liquid flowing from the pipes and a hood that is closed on all sides. The supports for the pipes are arranged above the liquid level in the tub. The supports consist of several, spaced strips, in which notches for receiving the pipes are arranged. The suction device, through which gases are sucked out of the treatment container, is arranged below the cover of the hood. The suction device preferably consists of a tube which is provided with a gap or with holes for sucking in the gases. The hinged lid is attached to a swivel bearing at its upper end and extends with its lower end to the supports for the pipes. The nozzles are connected by the side wall with lines for the supply of liquid and possibly air. The tubes are pushed into the nozzles by hand. The length of the treatment tank is chosen so that the liquid flowing out of the free ends of the tubes does not splash against the side wall of the treatment tank, but flows as a jet into the tub. With the lid open, the tubes are pushed into the nozzles, the lid is closed, and the treatment liquid is passed through the tubes Pipes may be rinsed, the liquid residues are blown out with compressed air, the lid is opened, the pipes are pulled out of the nozzles and removed from the treatment tank. If the outside of the tubes is then to be treated, the tubes can be passed directly through an opening in the rear wall of the treatment tank into the further treatment stages.

A preferred embodiment is that the pivot bearing (8) for the hinged lid (4) is arranged so far to the rear that dripping liquid drips into the rear part of the treatment container (1) in the open position. The lid then extends obliquely from the front of the tub to the pivot bearing. As a result, drops fall from the lid pivoted upwards into the rear part of the treatment container, so that the operating personnel are largely protected when the tubes are removed.

A preferred embodiment consists in that a blowing device (9) for air, which extends over the length of the treatment container (1) and approximately at the level of the supports (2), is arranged on the front of the treatment container (1). The blowing device expediently consists of a tube which is provided with a series of nozzle holes which are directed obliquely upwards onto the suction device. This creates an air curtain that prevents vapors from escaping when the lid is open. The air curtain can be generated continuously or to save compressed air only when the lid is open, for example via switch contacts that are actuated by the lid.

A preferred embodiment consists in that the nozzles (6) are connected via a line (10) with a diaphragm valve (11) and a pump (12) with a tank (13) for the treatment liquid and into the line (10) between nozzles (6) and diaphragm valve (11) opens a second line (14) with a second diaphragm valve (15) for blowing compressed air. When the pump is started, the diaphragm valve opens automatically and closes automatically after the specified treatment time when the pump is switched off. When the diaphragm valve closes, the second diaphragm valve opens automatically and allows air to blow into the nozzles to be able to blow out the pipes. The second diaphragm valve closes automatically after the blow-out time. The entire control can of course also be done by hand.

A preferred embodiment is that the further diaphragm valve (15) is connected to a display device for ending the blowing time of the compressed air. This ensures that the lid is not opened before the treatment.

The supports (2) for the pipes (3) are arranged in the treatment container (1). In the front longitudinal wall of the Treatment container (1) a cover (4) is arranged above the supports (2), which can be folded upwards (dashed position in Fig. 2). In the upper part of the treatment container (1) a tube with slots (16) is arranged as a suction device (5). On the inside of the side wall (7) there are nozzles (6) into which the tubes (3) are inserted at one end. The tubes (3) lie in notches in the supports (2). The pivot bearing (8) for the lid (4) is arranged so far to the rear in the upper part of the treatment container (1) that the cover (4) is so far away from the front of the treatment container (1) in the open position that dripping Liquid drips into the back of the treatment tank (1). A pipe with nozzle holes (17) is arranged on the front of the treatment container (1) as a blowing device (9) for air. The air blown in creates an air curtain (18) which is directed obliquely upwards in the direction of the suction device (5). The compressed air is fed into the blowing device (9) via line (19). The nozzles (6) are connected via line (10), membrane valve (11) and pump (12) to the tank (13) in which the treatment liquid is stored. A second line (14) with a second diaphragm valve (15) for blowing compressed air as purge air into the nozzles (6) opens into the line (11).

Nach der letzten Waschstufe fallen die Rohre in die Aufnahmevorrichtung (27).2 shows a subsequent three-stage washing stage according to patent application P 3724505.8. The tubes are pulled out of the nozzles and placed on the spatially inclined runway (2). From this they fall into the rinsing liquid so that one end leads and the pipes are completely filled with washing liquid. The tubes roll from the inclined receiving surface (21) onto the support body (22), which is provided on both end faces a separate controllable lifting and lowering device is connected. The tubes are moved back and forth by slightly lifting and lowering the support body (22) by means of the lifting and lowering device. Then the support body (22) with the tubes lying on it is raised to the dashed position. The flap (23) is opened by the lever system (24) and the tubes roll from the surface of the support body (22) onto the spatially inclined run-off path (28). From this they fall with one end leading onto the inclined support body (25). This second washing stage and the subsequent third washing stage are operated in the same way as the first washing stage. After the last washing stage, the tubes fall into the holding device (27).
