Abstract

Upper doorleaf element of a sectional cover door whose upper edge, seen perpendicular to the doorleaf surface, is constructed in a stepped manner in such a way that the step which is lower in the closing position runs out towards the outside and the higher, other step runs out towards the inside of the doorleaf element, a sealing profile of elastic material extending along the upper edge of the doorleaf element, and being fixed to this upper edge with a holding profile section and constructed with a sealing-lip profile section which tends away from the outside of the doorleaf element. For a fixing which is straightforward in assembly terms, the holding profile section of the sealing profile which is arranged on the lower step of the upper edge of the doorleaf element is held with the aid of a row of clips of resilient material which are arranged distributed over the longitudinal extent of the upper edge, which clips, together with a holding part, engage over the holding profile section in such a way as to apply pressure to the latter and pass it down on the lower step, and which, together with an essentially U-shaped fixing part which is connected in one piece to the holding part, are placed in a clamping manner onto the higher, other step of the upper edge.

Description

The invention relates to a in the closed position forming the upper end, single or double-walled door leaf member of a ceiling door leaf, which consists of a plurality of successively hinged to each other door leaf members, the upper edge of which, viewed perpendicular to the direction of movement of the door leaf, is stepped such that the the closed position of the lower step is tapered to the outside of the door leaf member, while the other step located higher runs to the inside of the door leaf member, a sealing profile made of elastic material, in particular rubber, which extends along the upper edge of the door leaf member, with a holding profile section on this upper edge is fixed and is designed with a sealing lip profile section striving from the outside of the door leaf member.

Deckengliedertorblätter laufen an seitlichen Zargen bzw. Ceiling sectional door leaves run along side frames or slide rails into the closed position and back. The upper end of the uppermost door leaf member towards the frame was previously closed with a horizontal frame part. Problems arose, however, when the outer door leaf plate was stretched by the action of heat, for example solar radiation, in particular in the case of insulating foam double-shell door leaf members. Then it could happen that the door leaf jammed upwards due to the thermal expansion on the horizontal frame part.

This upper frame part has therefore been omitted and the resulting gap between the upper edge of the door leaf and the wall of the door opening to be closed is covered with a sealing profile. This sealing profile was fixed to the upper edge of the top door leaf member in the closed position, either by a special profile that was placed on the upper edge, or by engaging a corresponding fastening strip of the sealing profile in a groove provided in the horizontal upper area, into which the sealing profile was inserted or glued in. These configurations and / or assembly processes are relatively complex. Such a door leaf member with the features mentioned is the subject of EP-A-231833.

The invention has for its object to provide a door leaf member of the type mentioned, the sealing profile can be set on the upper edge in a material and manufacturing economical way, but above all also in terms of assembly technology. Starting from a door leaf member with the features mentioned above, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the retaining profile section of the sealing profile arranged on the lower level of the upper edge of the door leaf member with the aid of a series of clips made of spring steel distributed over the longitudinal extent of the upper edge and thus of the retaining profile section , is held in accordance with resilient plastic or the like, which overpressurize overlap with a holding part the holding profile section of the sealing profile to the lower level and which with an integral part of the holding part, essentially U-shaped fixing part on the higher level of the upper edge of the Door leaf member are clamped.

The door leaf members of the type in question here are in their upper end area, i.e. in the end face pointing upwards in the closed position - here upper edge - designed so that the step located higher in this position is designed to protrude towards the inside of the door leaf, while the lower step indicates the outside of the door leaf. The sealing profile is placed on this lower step. The sealing profile is fastened with clips which are attached to the higher step in the clamp seat and which overlap the section of the sealing profile with a holding part and apply pressure to the lower step. These clips can be easily and quickly brought into their fixing and holding positions by hand or with a simple striking tool. Barbed projections can ensure in a known manner that the clips brought into their fixing position no longer leave this position.

Such door leaf members can each be provided on their front profile ends with an end face cover which, in a substantially U-shaped manner, overlaps with their legs edge regions of the outside and inside of the door leaf member. In such a case the sealing profile protrudes towards the ends with a tongue, which only continues the holding profile section. For fastening in this longitudinal end region of the door leaf member, side clamps can be provided which are provided with a fixing web which are inserted between the respective edge zone of the outside of the door leaf member and the legs of the end face cover which overlap these and which have the tongue-shaped end outlets with a holding web integrally formed on the fixing web overlap the holding profile section of the sealing profile in the respective side edge end area and pressurize it to the lower level of the upper edge of the door leaf.

Further preferred embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims, in particular in connection with the embodiment shown in the drawing, the following description of which explains the invention in more detail.

In the drawing, the upper region of the uppermost door leaf member 1 of a ceiling door leaf is shown in the closed position, the upper edge 2 of which - upward-facing end face in the closed position - is stepped, with a lower step 3, which tapers to the outside 4 of the door leaf is formed, and with a higher level 5, which runs out to the inside 6 of the door leaf.

On the upper edge 2 of the door leaf member 1, a sealing profile designated as a whole is fixed, in such a way that this sealing profile rests with a holding profile section 8 on the upward-facing surface of the lower step 3 of the door leaf member and with one on this holding profile section over the outside 4 of the door leaf member 1 protruding sealing lip profile 9 is integrally formed. In the transition area between the holding profile section 8 and the sealing lip profile section 9 of the sealing profile 7, this is provided with a profile rib 10 which, projecting downward, forms a positioning aid by abutting the outer surface 4 of the door leaf member 1. The sealing lip profile section 9 of the sealing profile 7 ends in a bead 11 in its end edge region facing away from the outside 4. This sealing lip profile section 9 serves to seal the door leaf from falling when the door leaf reaches its final closed position and the uppermost door leaf member 1 is aligned accordingly in the door leaf plane.

To fasten the sealing profile 7 to the uppermost door leaf member 1, clips 12 are used, which are arranged in a row in a plurality along the upper edge 2 of the door leaf member, preferably at a distance of about 25 cm. The clips themselves are about 20 mm wide. In this way, relatively little material is required to hold the sealing profile 7 on the door leaf member 1, if one compares this with a continuous holding profile.

The drawing shows one of these clips 12, above the upper edge 2 of the door leaf member 1 first in its position before assembly and then - moved in the direction of the arrow - in its assembled position. Each of these clips 12 consists of a holding part 13 and a U-shaped fixing part 14 which is integrally formed thereon. In the transition region from the fixing part 14, the holding part 13 is designed to be slightly offset upwards by an oblique double bend. In the assembled position, the U-shaped fixing part overlaps the higher level 5 of the upper edge 2 of the door leaf member 1, while the holding part 13 engages over the holding profile section 8 of the sealing profile 7, as can be seen from the drawing. The U-shaped fixing part, which has legs 14 'of different lengths in the present example, is clamped in its seat on the higher step 5 and additionally secured against slipping by means of bends 15, which in the region of the legs 14' to that of the U- Profile of the fixing part 14 encircled space are bent barb-shaped. In the present case, there are angular punched-outs and bends, the tips of which point toward the web region 16 of the fixing part 14 of the clips 12. The clips made of spring steel are designed in such a way that, in the assembled position of the fixing part 14 on the higher step 5, the holding part 13 exerts a resilient pressure on the holding profile section 8 of the sealing profile 7 in the direction of the lower step 3. In the web area 16 between the legs 14 'of the U-shaped fixing part 14 stiffening expressions 17 are provided.

The front end regions of the door leaf member 1 designed as a profile are provided with end covers 18 which overlap the outside 4 and the inside 6 of the door leaf member 1 with legs 21 extending in the direction of movement of the door leaf. The sealing lip profile section 9 of the sealing profile 7 is cut out in the area of the legs resting on the outside 4, as shown in the figure. There thus remain on the side, ie seen in the longitudinal direction of the upper edge 2, projecting tongue-like extensions 23 of the holding profile section 8. To fix these tongue-shaped sections, a total of 19 side clips are provided, one of which have in the assembled position in the direction of movement of the door leaf fixing web 20 and a right-angled integrally molded retaining web 22. These side clips are also made of spring steel. In the figure, a side bracket 19 is shown in the state before assembly. If this side bracket is moved in the direction of the arrow shown, it comes with its fixing web 20 between the respective outer edge region of the outside 4 of the door leaf member and the inner surface of the respective leg 21 of the respective front cover 18 facing this, as the figure shows. The holding web 22 protrudes from the fixing web 20 in such a way that it engages over the tongue-shaped continuation 23 of the holding profile section 8, in such a way that the holding web 22 exerts pressure in the direction of the upwardly facing end face of the lower step. To secure the position, the fixing web 20 of the side clips 19 is provided with barb-shaped bends 15 which are arranged or designed to act in the same way as with the clips 12. To stiffen the locking bar 20, it is provided with edge bends 26 at its edges extending in the direction of insertion.

Both the clips 12 and the side clips 19 are provided in the end region of their holding parts 13 or holding webs 22 facing away from the fixing part 14 or the fixing web 20 with an offset 24 directed towards the holding profile section 8 of the sealing profile 7. In the assembled position, these offsets 24 engage in grooves 25 which are formed in the upper edge longitudinal direction in the holding profile section 8 of the sealing profile 7, as the figure shows. This is an additional positive locking against displacement of the sealing profile 7 with respect to the bearing surface of the lower level 3 of the upper edge 2 of the door leaf member 1 created.
